Che Figata delivers Italian-to-table cuisine, characterized by its simple preparation and authentic ingredients. Equal parts modern and rustic, Che Figata is warm, welcoming and, above all, delicious.
Che Figata is a unique dining venue offering an authentic market as well! The architectural structure and interior designs allow the venue to be perceived as one of the most attractive environments in the restaurant industry while adding a personal touch from original pieces of artwork as a décor accent in the venue.

We had a very good experience ! This was our first time here and we really enjoyed. Drinks and food were perfect! Service is awesome!! We got for appetizer octopus, follow by Italian beef pepper soup and grilled langoustines. Everything was very tasty! I highly recommend this place!
There is a lot to like but some things fall short of expectations. Perhaps there are just too many items on the menu to execute all of them well.
Burrata salad needs balsamic vinegar. Lobster polenta that accompanies the scallop appetizer was dry. Branzino was nicely presented and very good. Short rib ravioli okay. The lobster on the lobster bucatini was really overcooked and very dry, but pasta and sauce were good. Service was inconsistent. $5.00 for ice tea is just a rip off.
The atmosphere and service was great at Che Figata. However the Maine lobster (Bucatini Fatti) I don’t think was prepared well. I would not honestly recommend getting that entree there. The lobster tail was dry, but the inside along the torso was rather raw/slimy. Very inconsistent in cooking.
The food and the bread are great
I ordered swordfish ravioli and cannoli. Very well done
At last an authentic Italian restaurant in USA. The dessert was slightly Americanized but all the rest was delicious , especially the fresh bread
We ordered several items & shared between the 4 of us. About 75% of the dishes were really good. The service was mediocre & our server was training someone which is concerning since she was not that great.
Was very excited to celebrate a birthday at this new venue. Unfortunately the food was overpriced - $19 for a tiny plate of pasta with some random vegetables on top. Bread brought to the table was stale and the dipping plate. The vinegar and oil were on a regular plate that was impossible to share or transfer onto your appetizer plate. It was mostly vinegar which equated to dipping a stale piece of bread into vinegar. Two appetizers were very strange. Flatbread pizza had an overpowering apricot paste all over it and chewy mushrooms chopped into large chunks. Another appetizer we ordered was large slices of fatty beef with misc. random veggies hidden under melted cheese. Very unappealing to look at, smell and consume. Lots of staff walking around but not a lot of customer contact. Water never refilled unless we asked. Got to the point we stopped asking the girl because she seemed to be doing a lot of walking but not contact or pouring. Entree's were underwhelming. Portions were tiny and soupy. So real sauce, liquidy water. Chef uses rotini a lot which is embarrassing for a $19 plate of pasta. Very sad experience. Left hungry. Would not recommend or go back.
This was the worst dining experience ever. Monday night celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary. about 5 tables sat in the entire restaurant a ton of staff standing around. The service was terrible, out of water entire dining had to keep calling staff over for water, waitress would disappear . The hostess was very rude to my parents. the food was ok but the description of a dish on the menu didn't match the dish they put in front of us, so my thought was they didn't have all the product to go into dish. Should of been notified about that. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great authentic Italian cuisine! Absolutely loved the food!
Counter seating was very nice and gave us a great view of the kitchen. Food was very good. Dipping sauce is really good. Servers were very personable and engaged. Second time there—we’ be back. Management is very hands on as well.
Very good food. The staff was very friendly but hard to catch if you needed anything. May be due to being understaffed.
The food offered new twists on old favorites, as well as some original entrees. Our server, Juan, was superb, very knowledgeable about each offering and willing to take as much time as needed to explain the nuances of the dishes. The first impression when walking in did not live up to the total experience, so I'm glad we weren't put off by the casual setting. This is a great restaurant for an evening with old friends because, at least on a weekday evening, there was no sense of being rushed out so the tables could be turned over. A wonderful experience.
Our 2nd visit. We love the food and service. Will go back and try more menu items. Enjoyed bucatini w/guanciale and bolognese. Fab wine selection. Our waiter Jeff was great.
We went here for a birthday celebration and we're blown away by everything. Service, Food, wine all amazing!!
Incredible meal, great service, still so much to try.
Delicious food and great service! Will be back!
Great choice for a Friday nite. Love that the crowd was respectful, quiet and charmed with each other company. So nice not to have everyone around you snapping a selfie like in downtown Naperville. Food was delish with a fresh grown flavor and taste. Can't wait to head back again, so many things we want to try one the menu.
Had a Cesar Salad and a pepperoni Pizza and my wife had a Lemoncello Salad and Osco Bucco. We also had a bottle of wine. Service was great and the food was good. Total bill was $100; however, the wine was $42.
I tried out this new restaurant in town for an early dinner on a Sunday. The restaurant has a little market off to the left as you walk in, a large counter area where you can sit and watch the chefs, or tables and booths in a large space. They also have an outdoor seating area. We were warmly welcomed by Phil and shown to a table. Our server at first was off-putting to us but once I asked his name a little into our time there, we got onto a good footing. A pet peeve of mine is a server forgetting an introduction. As a past server, I find that poor training by the management. We were served warm bread with olive oil upon sitting down, so good. My husband had the burrata salad which was a very generous portion of cheese along with greens and a dandelion pesto. I had the limoncello arugula salad, which had grilled citrus and was so fresh. I had the grilled octopus for my second course and was disappointed. The octopus was a very small portion and was topped with a giardiniera that was too hot for me and took away from or overpowered the seafood. I specifically came for that octopus and it didn't meet my expectations. My husband's second course was the braised short rib bruschetta. This had four pieces and was served with au jus on the side. I snagged a piece and it was tasty. The meat was tender, the crostini crisp. We ended the meal with a panna cotta which was more like a creamy rice pudding. Served with a biscotti, it was delicious. I would go back to Che Figata again. Phil was engaging and checked on us a couple times and service was good. I liked that. I would skip the octopus as I have had better in the area. I did like the atmosphere of the place and would like to try more items on the menu. The pizza looked just like I had in Italy...that has to be ordered next time.
We had a wonder relaxed date night dinner. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed our server. They were short on additional staff so able clearing and such was a bit slow, but since it we were in no hurry it was fine with us.
The food was very good except for an order of duck fat potatoes, which were disliked by everyone at the table. The servers were inexperienced, placing a side dish on top of a used bread plate that had not been cleared, failing to clear until long after the meal was finished, and failing to alert our waiter after two different requests to order wine. There was mold on the strawberries in the boxed lunches.
Great service and experience overall. Food is amazing.
Excellent food, though the fact that much of the menu is in Italian is a negative. Service here has taken a dive. During our last meal, our server didn’t arrive at the table until over a half hour had passed. She did not have a wine list and returned a few minutes later. First items appeared around 45-50 minutes after we were seated.
The service situation is totally chaotic. Best avoided until they get their act together.
Good food, but not a romantic setting.
The restaurant was beautiful! Open kitchen, everything in view.
I do not like spicy food & items which I ordered were spicy.
They didn’t consider it spicy. I ordered polenta with ragu for an appetizer & there was about a tablespoon of polenta covered with gravy & meatballs which was not listed in description on menu. My husband ordered grilled octopus which was full of jalapeños, rubbery & very spicy.
We split an order of pasta with fresh tomatoes & that was spicy also.
Too much new Italian items, I prefer authentic simple Italian food.
I wish them well.
The food was amazing, I was very impressed. We ordered almost all of the small plates and they did not disappoint. The polenta ragu was my favorite. There’s didn’t seem to be any table bus boys, I noticed the tables didn’t get turned over very quickly. Our waitress could’ve been a little attentive, but she wasn’t horrible. The location was a little surprising. For such a great restaurant I expected it to be downtown Naperville, but honestly I’m glad it wasn’t, hate the traffic. We will definitely go back again.
The meals were terrific, but the was service horrible. They needed more wait staff. This was our second time dining at Che Figata and we had the same dining experience, as the first time.
Fantastic service, Danielle was our server and was so attentive and kind. The food was delicious and great quality, will be back!
Meal was amazing -- we are bringing friends back next week
Wonderful dinner and service. Everything was very high quality and fresh. The owner Mark gave is some samples on the house. We will be back soon and tell our friends.
Food is outstanding very special Italian , unique with great ingredients
Excellent food and service.
What's better than Marvelous. Unfortunately, I had to change my reservations 3 times and they made changes positively. Even last minute change and they accommodated. Awesome food and staff. The food was fabulous. Our business VIP's raved. Thank you
We had never been to Che Figata before, and it was an excellent experience! The food was phenomenal, and our waiter Juan was great. We definitely plan on visiting again soon.
Our waiter was just excellent & made the meal an event!! Kudos
Fortunately my first visit was excellent. Had this been the first, not sure I would have returned
Che Fugata has great food in a casual atmosphere. I can't say enough about this gem.
We had a good time yesterday night for our wedding anniversary. The food was good as well as cocktails. Our waitress was probably new because she didn’t know the names of the dishes but she was very friendly. What I think could be improved is the musical choice. It was too loud and in my opinion the radio music choice does not suit to this kind of restaurant. Maybe a lounge kind of music would be better. A good experience overall!
Food was outstanding, but server Justin definitely needs retraining.
It was absolutely divine! From the decor, the service, the outstanding menu; all around a gem!
