Great service, food and atmosphere
We went for dinner on a Saturday and had a very positive experience. The food was excellent. The service was very pleasant and all dishes were served at the right time. We will definitely come back to try some other dishes and wines.
Food was excellent, still some service issues. Server was friendly but not very attentive. Had to ask for water refills a few times, and dinner didn’t arrive until 30-40 minutes after the appetizers were gone. Manager did say it was because he didn’t like the size of the original order of lamb chops. Food was great and we enjoyed our friends and conversation so it wasn’t a big deal. Service is the only complaint we had, and it wasn’t horrible, so 3stars for adequate on service . 4 Stars overall, will try again to see if the service issues get resolved.
Erin was our server. He was fun, knowledgeable and attentive. We never even looked at a menu, we trusted his recommendations and he was spot on!!!
Great date spot.
Looking for Italian restaurant to celebrate birthday. Decided to try Che Figata. Excellent choice! The fungi pizza was delicious. Shared the shortrib ravioli, it was flavorful and quite delicious!! More than enough food for 3 people! Our waiter Frank, quite respectful of our needs, very courteous! Will recommend Che Figata as a place to most certainly check out!!
The food was delicious and there are so many options! They have an extensive wine list and the space is bright and elegant.
Had an 8pm reservation for 3. We arrived at 7:40, checked in and were asked to wait in the lounge for 20 minutes until our table was ready. At 10 after 8 we decided to check on our table and was told that it was ready. Not sure why nobody came to the lounge to let us know. Once seated, our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only issue we really had, was that he would come and check on us, then disappear for quite some time. I was actively looking around the dining room trying to spot him at certain points throughout our meal, and he was just gone. Upwards of ten minutes at a time. Other that that though, the food was AMAZING!!! We will be going back, we will just be prepared to not expect the best service.
Terrible service. The food was pretty good but wouldn’t recommend the vegetarian pasta.
We sat at the bar. We felt very much like an afterthought. Granted we were not in a hurry but the service bordered on Neglect. This has occurred every time we’ve sat at the bar. Note: it takes a fortnight to get a cocktail.
The description of the dishes / appetizers is written with much flair. The execution is much different. The plates don’t match the description.
The Sunday short rib dripping was basically a 15 dollar Philly cheese steak that was just so so. Basically more effort into flair than execution. The Branzino is very good.
My POV is the menu is way to complex for this establishment.
Our 4th trip and we were hoping food / service would improve. Unfortunately it has not as the space / ambiance is very nice.
Management should send staff to Chana Gaucho to understand concepts of customer service.
Unfortunately we won’t be returning soon. Well give it a year and see if it improves...or if it is open.
This was our first visit to Che FiGATA. The night our party of 4 visited was very busy due to a Christmas party in their private room. Our entree selections (3 pasta dishes and pizza) were very enjoyable and nicely portioned. The salads we chose (arugula with orange & candied nuts) were excellent. The salads could be shared by 2 persons.
We had a problem ordering a bottle of wine. The first 3 bottles we selected were not available and caused us to wait 1/2 hour before getting a much more expensive bottle. Our server did not initially know which wines were available and took time to check. We were told that the restaurant was in the process of offering a new wine menu. This is no excuse for having a menu where most of the reasonably-priced wines are not available.
In summary we think Che FiGATA has potential to be an enjoyable dining option and we will visit again to see if our problems were limited to the night we visited.
Osso Bucco and Risotto was excellent. Bone marrow appetizer was also very tasty. Review would have been higher, but waiter forgot salad order and it took a long time to receive our food.
I took my wife there for a date night. The menu looked interesting so i wanted to try it. This is my new favorite restaurant. Everything was outstanding we already planned her birthday dinner there. We had the scallop app. Then short rib ravioli and finally the porkcheta will change your life in a good way.
This is our favorite Italian in the area. Inspired dishes with authentic ingredients...truly a treat! Staff is friendly and knowledgable. We’ve been several times and continue to be blown away by every dish.
I love their food and the broad selection. My only compliant is the actual menu design. It's elegantly laid out but the font size and style makes it difficult to read. The wine list is even more difficult. Our waiter - Juan - was wonderful in describing the dishes and suggesting wine. I would suggest you review their menu online before dining in the restaurant.
We are never disappointed!
Food was great. Service was very disorganized. We received our appetizers after our entrees.
Fantastic from beginning to end! From their sparkling water that's made in house, to the fresh pasta with amazing bolognese sauce, the olive oil dipping sauce for the bread, extensive wine list if you want true Italian there's nowhere else to go! My new favorite!
Great food and good service! Second time back and this time was better than the first! We will be going back for sure!
The food doesn’t match the service. Food was great. Enough said.
We were early for dinner reservation so we decided to have a drink in the bar. We were there for a while, no one acknowledged that we were there. Finally, a waitress said hello and helped get 1 of 3 a drink. There was chaos behind the bar. The waitress took order for third drink of Amaretto sour and bartender said it will take a while before he can get to it. No customer service at all. The poor service continued to the dining room. Our waiter was new and tried but it was not only us. Other tables who had different waiters were getting the wrong dishes and waiting a long time. Food was okay. We did talk to Manager who had been there three days. He apologized and bought us around of drinks. I believe he did the same for others.
I normally do not complain because of service but this was awful. I don’t think they will be open if they don’t change their ways.
Will be great to hear Italian Music matching setting.
The service was so awful people were leaving. We gutted it out and were pleasantly surprised the food was excellent. It's a shame that the service leading up to a superb meal wasn't considered important enough to management. They have hired new management to correct the problem so at some point it might be worth going back for another try. Such a shame!
Dining at Che Figata is like eating in Italy. From the crusty bread with olive oil & red pepper sauce to the pasta that melts in your mouth to the delicious deserts, our meal was wonderful.
Service and getting product to table on time and hot lacking!!
I’ve never been more impressed with a restaurant when it first opened. For months the attention to detail, good food and service was off the charts but we just brought some friends for our 6th visit and we were totally disappointed. The service wa soooooo slow and at times we had to flag our waiter down. We had to ask him to explain to our guests how the pasta was homemade etc. the food came out cold and the presentation was just thrown together. This place was soooo fantastic. I’m soooo sorry to see the decline. I don’t know if I want to go back.
The venue is absolutely amazing. The decor and setting are very well done. Cocktail, wine, and food menu had a variety of familiar items with unique twists.
Menu is just plain weird for an Italian restaurant. There is mint on steak, dates on pizza, I got”Surf & Turf “ risotto which was lobster &some type of beef. It was just tasteless . My husband thought the Osso bucco was good. The service was good, the food weird.
Our dinner at Che Figata was outstanding from start to finish. Our server, Juan, was very personable and took a lot of time to help us understand the menu as two of us had not been there previously. His description of the offerings was done with flair. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our appetizer, entrees, desserts and drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We’ve tried several times and this time even the food sucked! We’re done trying!!
We had a very good experience ! This was our first time here and we really enjoyed. Drinks and food were perfect! Service is awesome!! We got for appetizer octopus, follow by Italian beef pepper soup and grilled langoustines. Everything was very tasty! I highly recommend this place!
The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and was friendly. The wait staff was knowledge and courteous. The food was very good.
There is a lot to like but some things fall short of expectations. Perhaps there are just too many items on the menu to execute all of them well?
Burrata salad needs balsamic vinegar. Lobster polenta that accompanied the scallop appetizer was dry. Branzino was nicely presented and very good. Short rib ravioli okay. The lobster on the lobster bucatini was really overcooked and very dry, but pasta and sauce were good. Service was inconsistent. $5.00 for ice tea is just a rip off.
We really want to like this restaurant and have been regulars since they opened, but they are always under staffed or the staff are under trained, which detracts greatly from the whole dining experience. Food is generally very well prepared, and flavorful. We like sitting at the counter overlooking the prep area, as it is entertaining to watch the kitchen activities.
The atmosphere and service was great at Che Figata. However the Maine lobster (Bucatini Fatti) I don’t think was prepared well. I would not honestly recommend getting that entree there. The lobster tail was dry, but the inside along the torso was rather raw/slimy. Very inconsistent in cooking.
The food and the bread are great
I ordered swordfish ravioli and cannoli. Very well done
At last an authentic Italian restaurant in USA. The dessert was slightly Americanized but all the rest was delicious , especially the fresh bread
We ordered several items & shared between the 4 of us. About 75% of the dishes were really good. The service was mediocre & our server was training someone which is concerning since she was not that great.
Was very excited to celebrate a birthday at this new venue. Unfortunately the food was overpriced - $19 for a tiny plate of pasta with some random vegetables on top. Bread brought to the table was stale and the dipping plate. The vinegar and oil were on a regular plate that was impossible to share or transfer onto your appetizer plate. It was mostly vinegar which equated to dipping a stale piece of bread into vinegar. Two appetizers were very strange. Flatbread pizza had an overpowering apricot paste all over it and chewy mushrooms chopped into large chunks. Another appetizer we ordered was large slices of fatty beef with misc. random veggies hidden under melted cheese. Very unappealing to look at, smell and consume. Lots of staff walking around but not a lot of customer contact. Water never refilled unless we asked. Got to the point we stopped asking the girl because she seemed to be doing a lot of walking but not contact or pouring. Entree's were underwhelming. Portions were tiny and soupy. So real sauce, liquidy water. Chef uses rotini a lot which is embarrassing for a $19 plate of pasta. Very sad experience. Left hungry. Would not recommend or go back.
This was the worst dining experience ever. Monday night celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary. about 5 tables sat in the entire restaurant a ton of staff standing around. The service was terrible, out of water entire dining had to keep calling staff over for water, waitress would disappear . The hostess was very rude to my parents. the food was ok but the description of a dish on the menu didn't match the dish they put in front of us, so my thought was they didn't have all the product to go into dish. Should of been notified about that. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
