Che Figata delivers Italian-to-table cuisine, characterized by its simple preparation and authentic ingredients. Equal parts modern and rustic, Che Figata is warm, welcoming and, above all, delicious.
Che Figata is a unique dining venue offering an authentic market as well! The architectural structure and interior designs allow the venue to be perceived as one of the most attractive environments in the restaurant industry while adding a personal touch from original pieces of artwork as a décor accent in the venue.
Front and back of house working together for a superior dining experience. Excellent wine list. Creative menu with some very interesting choices from starters to deserts. All the food was of the highest quality. Service was effortless and attentive. These really isn’t a place like this in the area and it fills a much needed gap in the dining scheme of Naperville. Well done.
This was our second time going for Family-Style Sunday. The food was excellent as usual, as it has been ordering from the regular menu. However, the service was very disjointed and confused on this visit. The server brought what was supposed to be a list of available pasta choices, but it was related to a different special for a different day. He also didn't appear to know the "rules" for the family-style menu. He went absent a few times - we had to grab water bottles for refills from a nearby tub. One of the wines we ordered came as an incorrect bottle, and the replacement took forever to get. So long in fact that we considered canceling it. Once we finally got our check, the server was nowhere to be seen for over 15 minutes. We asked another server to settle up for us. After this was done and we left, we still didn't see our original server. I considered politely mentioning the issues to the manager, but we really just wanted to get home. This was overall my fifth visit and we will definitely go back, but hopefully the service issues don't repeat. There were several servers and the menu isn't so large that the staff should be able to have a good handle on it.
This restaurant is probably our favorite in Naperville. This was our second time here and each time it never disappoints. The servers are top notch and the food is exciting and delicious. I love the small indoor garden and how you can see into the kitchen. We took our 4 year old and her hand made pasta shells were even as delicious as my full fish dish. Great place!
When we first walked in, we thought it was going to be really loud, because of the way the place looked. But we were wrong. There is a lot of acoustic panels on the wall space that seems to help absorb noise. We were introduced to our waiter as well as a new trainee. All of the wait staff was very attentive, but we enjoyed Juan, our waiter most of all. He knows the menu and gave wonderful food recommendations as well as wine. Everything we had tasted delicious! We were there quite late at night and they had just run out of the dessert we ordered, but he made a special adjustment to our second choice so that we didn't feel like it was a consolation prize. We will definitely go back again!
Excellent food, nice ambiance. Service was non-rushed, which worked for our leisurely dinner.
We enjoyed this place when it opened, but as time has gone on it continues to disappoint. Food is good or even great sometimes, but service has declined. Service from front of the house, owners, servers, and bartenders.
2nd time here. Again great food and well paced service. Finally some class in the suburbs !
Super comfy leather lounge chairs in the bar area is the way to feel pampered over a long, leisurely early dinner. Our waiter - a former cook - was unusually knowledgeable (my friend has serious food allergies) and gave excellent advice. He couldn't have given us better service! Other managers stopped by periodically to ask if everything was ok, and it was! Very attentive staff and phenomenal service.
One observation regarding food, which in general was delicious: charcuterie plate tantalized, but only 2 skimpy slices of thin shaved salami - really? The same with olives - only one large green one. Now how are two people supposed to split that? More generous portioning needed in these areas for this otherwise beautifully presented two-tiered presentation.
Food quality was generally very good to excellent. My friend raved about her ravioli dish. My rigatoni with sausage, meatball and pork bone ragu was very good. Three generous cannolis for my birthday dessert was the best surprise. The shells were a much higher quality than anything I've found, ever! Crisp, perfect texture and not oily at all! Delectable.
Che Figata is a perfect choice for special occasions. Congratulations to the staff for providing high end service. Go there.
I had the Braciola Di Maiale (pork chop) which was delicious and my husband had the Prime Rib which was amazing as always.
First time back since celebrating with my office holiday party. Food was good. Veal was over salted, sent it back. Manager was very understanding and allowed us to order another entry. Bologna’s with papadela noodles was very good. Service was very slow. Waitress did not suggest specials, was not at tentative and slow service. Not sure if that was the kitchen or just the waitress.
Birthday Dinner was fantastic here! Good wine and our food was delicious. We will be back for sure
Service was lacking. Had a 645pm reservation and our main course didn’t come out till after 830 pm. Food was ok. Pork chop was fatty and small. Fish and pasta was ok also. Did not order dessert as was late and our server was not attentive. I would give another try, my other half says no.
Food was decent but very limited vegetarian options.
The ambiance was nice, the waitress was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband's lasagna was very good I (had a taste) and I had the swordfish; the fish was flavorful but it was a small portion and I chose the bean salad for my side. Although the bean salad was flavorful the portion of it dominated the swordfish. The swordfish was moist and had a crunchy skin. I thought my husband's dish was a good value and for the portion of the swordfish I did not think it was a good value. I did enjoy the olive martini and the fig/prosciutto plate. I did notice other tables had bread and olive oil: I was not sure if that was part of the service. I would recommend to try other dishes. I would not recommend the swordfish due to the portion.
Hands Down " The Best Italian Chicago has to offer "
It was great- the food was delicious and the servers were friendly!
A restaurant destination, not just a meal. SErvice was excellent, enthusiastic. Food was delicious. Meat, fish, pastas and soup all top notch. Highly recommend to those who appreciate good food and wine.
It is an absolutely amazing place, best Italian option around the area by far.
Great experience. We went for my birthday and I brought my 16 month old son, and our friends brought their 7 month old, and 6 year old. This is not the type of resteraunt that looks like it would be appropriate for kids, but it was my birthday, and I wanted to try this place, and as parents we don’t really get to go to nice places with our kids anymore. They gave us a private room in the back that had curtains so our kids could be moderately noisy, and the service and food was outstanding! We will be back again, minus the kids this time 😊
Fantastic meal and service!
Came for the pasta special. Great fresh pasta, and great sauces; along with a side salad. Good value-love it!
We will come back!
Excellent presentation as well as service. Great tasting food, served by someone who enjoys his job.
I have eaten here many times, the food is always great! The service can sometimes be slow. Our waitress was very nice but again just a little slow. We sat at the counter which is great for watching the the chefs cook. Everything we ate was delicious, I would recommend to anyone
Good food, great space for a restaurant, some items over priced, service good but messed up order
New menu is fantastic!!! Some of the best Italian anywhere!! We sat at the bar; had great service; hip ambiance; and such good food!!
We came for a dinner on Thursday, they have pasta specials! After ordering drinks (they make a great lemon drop martini), each of us had a mixed green salad to start followed by pasta; a carbonara and a bolognese. Both were fantastic! Our server was great as well. Can't wait to return again.
This was our first time at CHE FiGATA. As soon as you walk in, you could smell the wood burning pizza oven, which really help set the mood. They also had some homemade pastas and premade items that you could buy to take home. Food was phenomenal, the calamari platter has fried lemons, zucchini, radishes and peppers which just made it that much better. There are some standard Italian dishes, but they were improved upon. My husband got the lasagna, which had 16 layers of pasta and was truly amazing. I will be back for more!
Che FiGata's pasta dishes are very good and reasonable priced. We have been there twice and will be going back again. As an added bonus, even though the dining room was full , you could carry on a conversation without shouting.
The food was delicious, and our waiter, Frank took very good care of us. I’ve already recommended Che Figata to numerous friends and we can’t wait to return.
Awesome atmosphere at the bar. Great service and professionalism. It was wonderful meeting the co owner!
really pretty restaurant and the food was delicious. I would go back for sure!!
Che Figata is one of our favorite Italian restaurants although there are traditional dishes as well. The ingredients are all fresh and the dishes are very well presented. The service is great and if you are a returning customer, many of the servers will remember you. Food is outstanding. Highly recommend.
Food was great
We had heard good things and we were looking forward to trying a new restaurant. Our waiter was very disorganized. He didn’t bring menus (food or drink) when we were seated. The wait between his checking in on us was too long. It was an hour before we received our salads & soup from when we were seated.
The price for our dinner was not worth the experience we had
Outstanding meal and service. Staff very attentive and engaging. Will definitely be returning.
Loved it!! Excellent food and service.
Juan is the BEST waiter! The cheese and prosciutto is freshly cut, like you are actually in Italy! Their Chicken dish is hands down the best chicken you will ever eat.
Lovely place. Great service and the food was delicious. Great variety of drinks, wine and food. I'm already planning on going back!
We loved the atmosphere and ambiance of Che FiGata. The noise level was conversational friendly, which is such a nice change from other restaurants that pack tables into the dining space. The servers were extremely attentive and helpful with the menu selections. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but quality and service are definitely the focus at Che FiGata. My husband's pasta portion was a little small for him, but my lasagna entree was both delicious and satisfying for my taste. I'm sure we will return for another special occasion night out.
