Had dinner on a Thursday night. Not busy at all but very slow service. Started with the kale Ceasar. There was not enough dressing and very anchovy forward. Also had the crudité which was nothing special. Short rib pasta was not very warm when received & a pretty small plate. The olive cake was dry. My husband did enjoy his trout but over all not impressed and would not go back.

As usual, we had a great experience. The initial menu changes were great and creative. The squash agnolotti, new to the menu, is so good you’ll want to order a second entree to go! The carbonara did not disappoint at all!The beet salad was a nice addition. The deconstructed tiramisu was an interesting take on an old favorite. The service is impeccable! We are looking forward to more of the new menu changes coming.

We were disappointed by the experience for the first time dining at Che Figata. We were not offered the complimentary bread with dipping sauces as we always were in the past. My wife’s entre was tepid at best. My son had chippano but we had to ask for a spoon to eat the broth. I asked for Parmesan that never showed up. All around a disappointing evening. Everyone one has an off day. It is a shame we were there for their off day.

We always plan to eat at least once at this restaurant when we come to the area. The food and service are excellent! Such great flavor! If you like fresh Italian food I highly recommend trying this place. It’s amazing!

One of the most innovative restaurants around. An interesting variety of flavors. The charcuterie board was amazing and full of new choices. Both entrees were delicious. The service was quite good. Informative and friendly wait staff. Five stars! Wine list pricey and short on familiar wines. Didn’t see any desserts we were interested in. Needs some additions.

I was a little worried when we walked into the restaurant as there were more empty tables than full. We chose to sit at the counter, which I think is the best place to be. You can watch all the dishes being made in the kitchen. Our server was great and very attentive. We started with cocktails and the cheese board. The portions of cheese were very generous and delicious. For dinner I had the sausage and broccolini pizza and my husband had the rigatoni zozzona. Both were very good. We would definitely go back again!

Have dined here before, very disappointed. Service was not good - waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the people at the table next to us. Had to wait to be greeted, water to be served and drink order to be taken. The food was very disappointing. The baked fontina was over-baked to the point it couldn't be spooned from the serving dish, the agnolotti was barely warm and the grilled tuna just had a sad assortment of greens around it.

It was our anniversary and our kids bought us a bottle of sparkling wine but we were not told by the manager that it was from our kids-we assumed it was from you! We did not find out til the next day that the bottle was a gift from our kids. Would have enjoyed the bottle more if we knew it was from them.

Food was amazing and lived up to all the hype. A friend of mine said Che Figata was a hidden gem of Chicago and he was right. Do yourself a favor and check Che Figata out.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We inquired next door at the hotel, and we were informed that they were serving a limited menu through the hotel lobby bar. The menu excluded the entrees we hoped to eat so we opted to leave and dine at another restaurant. If your option for seating is “bar,” it means you are not eating in the restaurant and that there is a limited menu.

Very disappointing, food was average but pricey, the grilled octopus appetizer for $25 only had 3 small bits of octopus and they were out of our first two menu choices though failed to tell us prior to ordering. Staff was nice but it was 20 minutes before we received our drink order and restaurant was only half full, We will not be be back.

We've been to Che Figata for a number of celebrations and this place does not disappoint. From the wait staff, to the food, to the drinks to the desserts, we loved it all. The space is gorgeous. The food is thoughtful. The service is timed appropriately. Would highly recommend and will go again and again.

I highly recommend CHE FiGATA. The food and service were outstanding! The Arugula & Endive Salad, Cauliflower Arancini and the Veal & Gorgonzola Angnolotti were absolutely delicious!! Outside dining was nice, but a little concrete...needs more greenery. I might eat inside next time. We had a delicious bottle of Nebbiolo for $75, but I know many Italian restaurants have more choices from $50-$70 which is always appreciated. I would also like to see the wine list on the website. Hint Hint. Overall, go for the food, you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful time at Che Figata celebrating my wife's birthday. We had been to Che Figata several times before and always had a pleasant experience. They had recently updated their seasonal menu, and so we were excited to try out the new offerings. Our server was knowledgeable and provided great suggestions (we've never been disappointed with the service). I would definitely recommend the Meat & Cheese Board as a starter to share; they offer some really great selections each time, and we've enjoyed all the freshly pickled and sweet elements they include (a fun surprise, so ask for a few more crostini if you need to). We did get to meet the chef at our last visit, and he presented the Meat & Cheese board to us and talked to us about their process of preparing the elements (we really enjoyed that!). We usually order family style, generally getting a salad as well as a pasta dish or 2 (the Carbonara and their new broccoli + hazelnut pesto dish was excellent). We've usually gotten their NY Strip as a protein to share, and we usually have a little of everything to take home when we're done. Pizzas have been great too, but we usually stick to the dinner entrees most of the time. Their approach to food is thoughtful, and their preparations have been excellent each of the times we've visited. Their servers are kind and attentive, and we've appreciated getting to see them again on our repeat visits. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for great shareable starters, an excellent cocktail program, and a wide-ranging menu with multiple options for various tastes or appetites. They do have an adjacent bar which also provides access to the some of the menu, makes a fun later-night destination after dinner or an event elsewhere. Free street parking is usually available most of the time. I hope you enjoy as much as we have!

Delicious but pasta were lukeworm as well broccoli on top was cold. The supervisor offered to get new entry and offered a dessert, when I declined. Routine customer relation gimmick. No water , for half of the dinner, after given initially. I had to ask for one . Our server seemed disinterested . I am not sure if that was because we were brown asians with majority of customers, being caucasians. This restaurant is in Naperville, with heavy population of Indian ethnicity. Only positive was taste of food . Tiramisu was great also . The supervisor seemed diligent for customer service for each table . That was another plus.
