Che Figata delivers Italian-to-table cuisine, characterized by its simple preparation and authentic ingredients. Equal parts modern and rustic, Che Figata is warm, welcoming and, above all, delicious.
Che Figata is a unique dining venue offering an authentic market as well! The architectural structure and interior designs allow the venue to be perceived as one of the most attractive environments in the restaurant industry while adding a personal touch from original pieces of artwork as a décor accent in the venue.
The food is great Italian cuisine - home made and fresh. Our waitress, Ariel, was outstanding - she was attentive and interactive but left us to chat in our group as well. She was fun and made sure we had everything we needed. We also have met some of the other servers on previous visits who made it a point to stop by and say hello. Excellent food and attentive staff. Highly recommend.
I’m stunned at how amazing the food is and I cannot wait to go back. The complexity of the Italian flavors are unique, the pasta is made “in-house” and their wine offerings are spectacular. In addition, you could tell that Juan, our server really enjoyed working there..he truly provided an authentic experience. 5 stars for sure.
Food was decent, although not overly hot, but not great. Service was very slow and inattentive. There was a large group having a wine tasting and it was very loud; the restaurant used a microphone to announce and explain the wine which seemed out of place and very loud- squeaks, and feedback and all. Would have been nice had they told us before we arrived or at the hostess stand when we arrived. Waited for 7-10 minutes after we were seated before a waiter stopped by. Plates arrived at different times.
We had higher hopes. Not sure if we will go back for a second try.
Service was terrible and slow. Bottle of expensive white wine bottles was served room temperature not chilled. Sea bass was full of bones. Cheese/meat appetizer was extremely disappointing. Coffee full of grounds! Bad dining experience!! Not returning.
Our server was really friendly and helpful. The menu had great options-it was hard to choose. I had the bolognese and it actually reminded me of Italy!
People just go back. We had slow service once and left. But knew we would give them another chance because our first visit was so amazing. Juan did not disappoint !!! The crab pasta. The lamb chops, Osso bucco and lasagna bolangese amazing. We love che and will be back over and over.
Another amazing meal - we were asking the Chef for recommendations and the wine we had from a previous tasting. The wine had changed but offered a different fabulous red and to create our own multi-course tasting while sitting at the counter. It was fantastic, unexpected, and lovely to not make any decisions and just enjoy the food- again. Looking forward to the next scheduled tasting on 11/22.
Restaurant closes at 10pm so dont book after 9pm, that 1was not a good surprise. Had to dine in the lounge
This is great place if you enjoy good food and wine. However it will make a dent in you wallet.
Service lady was very rude. Said we would not know the difference between shrimp and calamari. She did not explain any dishes to us as well. Later that night I got extremely sick as did the person I ate with. For the price, I was very upset.
I come here because they have great gluten free options. However, despite having it noted in my reservation and telling the waiter, my soup came with wheat pasta. So a bit disappointed. Otherwise enjoyed the ambience and appreciate its quiet enough to have a good conversation.
It was alright.
I can't believe this place was not packed. Everything on point. Great food and service. Reasonable prices. And that pizza...wow. The best Jerry, the best!
Once again, Che Figata outdid themselves. Wonderful food, great service. It’s why we keep coming back.
Brought friends for special birthday. I was a bit disappointed they seated us by the kitchen door. When we mentioned a move, we were told it wasn’t possible. I had mad a reservation & mentioned the special event.
On the flip side the food was wonderful. Our waiter recommended a wonderful red wine. I had short rib raviolis, another had swordfish. All delish! The GM did send out a special birthday dessert so all in all it was a good night with great friends!!
Delicious homemade Italian restaurant, nice ambience great service & lovey wines.
Great food, great environment and excellent service. Would eat here again.
Great people, great environment for business people, and couples only. Not kid-friendly and for Italian, that is not true. Food was well presented, and wine was.well matched. Not sure we will return for price and personal issues with food. We expected better/more. Continued success.
Pastas are always incredible. Freshly made, and every sauce is amazing. Selection of cheeses on the cheese board could be improved - too many dry selections each time, and not daring enough with the variety.
Excellent service and a enthusiastic server and manager.
This is my 5th time dining here and unfortunately I will not return. The menu has downsized and the food is average. The main reason I will not return is the service. Servers are not attentive. I had to ask for complementary bread & oil/tomato dip 3 times. The food was delivered and we were never asked how it was. I ordered a second cocktail after flagging down our server. After waiting 20 minutes for it, I simply asked another server for the check (Our server Dakota was no where to be found). I informed the her that I ordered a drink but it never came and wanted to be sure it was not on the check. She just said ok, I will check. A different sever picked up the payment and no apologies were given. This is unfortunate as I feel my expectations were standard.
This place has great Italian food but it’s not originally Italian so it’s great to be open minded to try new things. The food is always amazing! Service was great too! Our server was very knowledgeable!
The service, food and ambiance were excellent. The portions could be larger and the drinks were a bit pricey. I would go back for a week night meal but probably would not have cocktails.
would like to provide some feedback for your future use that would help compliment the excellent facility and food you provide. I had a very unusual event at Che Fagata last Saturday 9/14.
After a fine meal we paid the bill with 2 - $100 gift cards we had received and a $100 bill ( $300).
The waiter ( who did a fine job) returned to tell us that one card had a zero balance, we explained both cards were given to us at Christmas and never used....our first time at Che Figata. The maiter d returned repeating this situation and "expecting us to pay an additional $100.......without having done any further review as to the validity of the card.
I then mentioned that this error may have occurred at the time of purchase and inadvertently not validated the card.
We then presented him with the cash register receipts for each card, he took them and then returned asking us "if he should call to verify the card." Of course !! You would think at a facility with your class these things would have been done "before" assuming the customer was at fault. We knew this was a big mistake and contacted my son who had given us these gift cards (he frequents your restaurant with praise.) He had credit card payment verification if needed.
After sitting there patiently waiting for results the waiter ( very good employee informed us that everything was corrected). He is an asset to your team ! But now you would have expected the maiter D who inferred we would have to pay an additional $100 and asked" if he should call to verify the card", would have acknowledge that this was an error by the restaurant, vs merely saying sorry for the delay.
I am not asking for any free appetizer or whatever, knowing this is a special type of restaurant, it is important that situations such as this, which I admit was very unusual, that your staff would handle this differently so the customers continue to feel valued.
A poor ending for first time customers. Hope this helps in the fut
Great food and service
This was our first visit to Che Figata. Great authentic Italian food with a more modern atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions.
This place has all the ingredients to be OUTSTANDING. There’s just too many niggles to make me give it 5 stars. The hostess needed to be better presented and have more initiative. The place was barely 1/3 full and she struggled to find us a table that wasn’t right next to the door. We felt like we were being awkward and she took so long deciding we almost seated ourselves. Not a great start. Our waitress told us she’d be with us in a moment then a waiter came over and introduced himself. Not a biggie, but they have a great concept there, charge a decent amount so my expectations are high. The wine we ordered - that took 20 mins to get there - was amazing. It was Justin Cab Sauv. We had to ask for their non-Italian wine list. The food was fabulous. The burrata, the fig & cheese app and the bread with olive oil. All delicious and super tasty. The osobucco was potentially really good, however it tasted bland despite having a great looking sauce and a great looking hunk of veal. The rissoto was delicately flavored and well cooked. The two fish dishes our husbands ordered were super tasty and we’d order them again. The Meagre and the Seabass. We didn’t order desert as the gluten free options were sorbet or ice cream. As I said in the beginning, great potential - just needs staffing up a notch and flavors checking on one dish.
The menu is very creative and delicious. The wine list, including by the glass, is also very good.
Always a winner! excellent food, it's the real deal and the highest quality. Service is attentive and welcoming. A great place to have lunch and dinner
Great food & servics
Great meal! One of the best Italian restaurants in the burbs.
4th time there. Authentic Italian food.
Had gnocchi and osso bucco. Both were excellent
As usual, our dinner on Friday and Saturday was delicious. We were treated very well by Juan on Friday and Ozzie on Saturday. Che Figata and the Hotel Arista are top notch and always wonderful!! Thank you for everything.
I always love this place. Great ambience and the food is always wonderful. They have a new menu which is good but now you have to ask for bread if you want it. They don’t just give it to you. I really love their crab pasta. My only complaint about this place is that their prices for wine very high. One of the higher wine menu pricing I always love this place. The king crab pasta was phenomenal! Excellent service from Arielle!
Food was of excellent quality and tasted sublime, however their use of spices can be dialed back just a little. Service was excellent and the noise level was the best we have seen in a restaurant in a long time.
Had a great dining experience here! The Chef chose our charcuterie board and everything was incredible. Fig, arugula, cheese, honeycomb small plate was so refreshing! The carbonara was heavy, but one of the best. Cowgirl ribeye was cooked perfectly. Everything was so flavorful and unique.
Our server Justin was very informative and definitely made our experience. He was very personable...We will definitely be back and request for him!!
Top of our list for Italian restaurants.
Appetizers arrived cold after a very long wait. We actually left after apps to go to a different restaurant for dinner.
Great food when we finally got it. Wonderful chopped salad . Great prime rib with tasty truffled risotto and excellent veal Marsala. The however, menu is strange, not typically Italian. These entries were fairly normal, but pizzas had odd toppings and ingredients in other dishes didn’t seem like they belonged together. Service is usually good, but this time we barely saw our waiter.
I ordered the little neck clam dish based on the recommendation of my waiter. Clams were ok.. and pasta very good but the red sauce... never tasted before. Very tangy... too tangy for my taste. My friend thought the same but didn’t bother her that much. I left some of my pasta cause I couldn’t eat anymore of it with the sauce on it.
Otherwise they had a nice menu with lots of other options to choose from.
I will definitely try again at some point. I like the fresh farm to table concept.
