We are excited to have you back in our seats!
mixed chickories, fava greens, pea tendrils, salame, house smoked provolone, castelvetrano olives, spring onions, chickpeas, italian vinaigrette
Tagliatelle al Ragu
lamb sausage, San Marzano tomato, fava leaves, pecorino romano
Everything is perfect about this restaurant!
Everything we ordered was delicious. Great and reasonably priced wine recommendation by the server. Counter seating with a view of the street from above was a refreshingly different ambiance from the usual SF hot spot. Will return for sure.
Excellent food but they play loud annoying music which is not necessary.
Great food. Great staff. Great experience. Highly recommend sitting at the counter. Fun to watch the staff in action!
All good things. Food, service, ambiance all fantastic. Staff and management showed an extra effort to welcome people back to this cool spot. Glad they are back up and running.
Food and ambiance was great! Would recommend. The lasagna wasn’t my favorite although it’s supposed to be a top choice. I preferred the other pasta dishes.
excellent service. appetizers were also excellent as well as the pizza. we got the Bolognese which was less than subpar - oily, unseasoned, and canned-meat taste.
they upsold their wine menu which was also subpar.
I was craving Pasta and Che Fico was highly recommended. The pasta was meh! The whole branzino was delish and the service was great.
It was very disappointing and wish I knew in advance there was a 10% charge for dining indoors. Note to Che Fico and OpenTable maybe you should let your patrons know when they book a reservation there will be a 10% charge for dining inside.
I know there is a class of people who don’t care about the price but for me this was damned expensive. Also, trying to say that the dishes are family style but then giving you a single portion, or worse half a dessert, only amplified the issue. Then you get the bill, they’ve already given themselves 10% of your bill as a kind of luxury tax so you’re left figuring out a gratuity on top of a gratuity they already took. I probably won’t be going back.
Wonderful food. Exceptional in-house Salumi.
We have loved Che Fico from the beginning. Although only recently reopened and only Friday and Saturday, it is fantastic. Different menu with a few old favorites but the new fishes were great. Same great ambiance and wonderful service. Welcome back.
I have never had anything less than superb at Che Fico. The cocktails, food, service, and ambience are top notch. Everything is homemade with high quality ingredients. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city.
We sat at the service bar in front of the salami station. It was so fun to interact with the staff and watch all of the starters go by.
The staff was warm, attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere and interior is one of my favorites in all of SF.
Loved the warm lighting and wallpaper, the tile, the hanging herbs and hoshigaki! I want live here.
The cocktails were perfect. Loved that the wines by the glass included several selections from Sicily.
And the food was incredible. Perfectly crispy suppli with a decadent interior. The polpo with pork belly and potatoes was masterfully prepared.
We were so happy to share the green lasagna with duck ragu and the tagliatelle bolognese. The pizza crust was a dream! Perfect amount of bite, bubbles and elasticity. We loved it!
We didn’t need any dessert, but had to try the zabione and apple tart with pairings chosen by our server. So glad we made room for all of the hospitality that was on offer. Thank you for a beautiful and fun evening!
The food and atmosphere was amazing upstairs. Service was great as well. It is a little pricey for the small plates however everything truly tasted amazing. The servers were extremely knowledgeable as well. Would definitely go back.
Wonderful service and excellent food. I really enjoyed dinner here
My wife and I went for our 5th anniversary because we’ve always loved their pizzas. Unfortunately we happened to go on the first night of their new limited menu, which has only 2 white pizzas - one covered in radicchio and one with Brussels sprouts. We asked if there was any way to make something else and we’re told no (even though they have a full pizza menu downstairs). Plus, with their new “10% dine-in charge” plus tax plus tip, a personal pizza is $42. I actually went to the bathroom to call other restaurants mid-meal. Sadly, it’s not worth it anymore.
Fantastic food - great service! We highly recommend it. The food is creative, interesting, and excellent. Food as good as Italy.
I was surprised by the “dine-in” fee of $10 per person. This was not the SF health mandate tax, so what was it and why wasn’t it explained when the reservation was made?
We want for the truffle dinner. It was $480 all in for 2 people. $85 for 8oz of truffle and I was given much more like 4. I ordered truffle on my dessert and was not given any. Dinner took 3.5 hours. The ravioli was not cooked enough. Some dishes were excellent and some fell short. I think we would have been happy had we gotten the truffles we ordered or if it taken less time. Overall I don’t think we will return.
It was a treat to be back at Che Fico and they are on fire! The food was amazing - delicious, beautiful, and served with care. The wines were interesting and well paired. We can't wait to go back.
The staff were very attentive, energetic and curious. Food was on point with nice wine pairings. Definitely coming back!
An incredible pop of celebrating the food of the Italian Jewish community with a modern spin. As always, the food was top shelf, service impeccable and a pleasure to be in the main dining room of Che Fico once again.
Outstanding prix fixe dinner - wonderfully conceived, outstandingly prepared. Attentive staff - chef made his rounds. Good when I ate there 2 years, even better now.
Glad to see them back in business. Amazing chicken, nostalgic Jewish grandma starters that made our table happy.
Don't understand if the dine in fee actually goes to the staff. Less crowded made it really pleasant.
We went to the 3rd pop up and it was fantastic all around! Great 3 course dinner with plenty of food, real creative with just the right seasoning and texture. The chef paid a humble visit to all tables. The service was professional, warm and on point. One if the best restaurants in SF! Love it!!
Was pretty overpriced for what we received. Our server never checked in on us. None of the food was seasoned properly. Like really no salt on anything. The dine in fee is also not a great business model.
We had a fantastic meal with the new “pop up” fixed price menu. The 2 pastas were really tasty and the starters were also delicious.
3 courses for $85 + dine in fee + SF taxes, just not worth it. Maybe if there was a second pasta course, it would seem more reasonable.
It seemed a bit overpriced for 3 dishes (pasta pop up). The space is absolutely gorgeous. Service for three dishes was over 2 hours, although the staff was wonderful. Just felt a bit spread out. I’d go again, but be open to a full menu instead.
Excellent food & service, a bit pricey.
Great food and great atmosphere
I am so excited Che Fico is back! Everything from the ambiance, to the service and the food is outstanding!
I think our primary server had a bad night!
It was delicious the food!
Great modern-Italian menu. Huge Italian wine list and wonderful amaro focused cocktails
Good for *social distancing* with your partner or family. Tables are far apart. Interesting wine list. Amazing tiramisu. Service was spotty/all or nothing. Pasta tasty but in my opinion not worth the price tag. Porchetta “for two” is realy for three or four if you’re ordering starters or sides.
Overall, lovely dining room. Not blown away by the food. Fine place for pizza and wine date. If you go soup to nuts it’s going to be spendy. Not something I’d wait hours to walk in or weeks for a reservation.

The ambiance is great but the food was very overpriced.
Such good food! Their bread products, the focaccia, the pizza crust are awesome.. the pasta with Bolognese sauce.. yum!
unknown to us we had one gluten intolerant and one lactose intolerant guest (from sweden!) and che fico was the perfect place. a wide range of delicious foods, a very tolerant server who was able to navigate between us and the kitchen, the cheese was all on the side and even questioned whether a little flour was added to the chicken broth. fantastic.
