We will be introducing outdoor dining availability with limited seating. Tables are available to reserve for 90 minutes with the possibility of extension if no other guests are waiting. While we are offering reservations for the table, we do ask that you place orders at the door.

Omg, the food here is insane!!!! Also the service is on point. Incredibly accommodating. They were able to get us in last minute for my dad’s birthday dinner (on a busy Saturday night) and even modify the ressie with grace and kindness. We will be back for sure!!!
Che Fico has outdoor, socially-distanced dining down to a science. Thank you to that entire team for taking this seriously! I felt safe the entire time (unlike some of the other outdoor options in SF...) in my self-contained booth with a heating lamp. Servers do a great job of keeping a safe distance. Food was outstanding as usual- we had the suppli, polenta, bavette steak, cacio e pepe and mascarpone cheesecake.

Nowhere near as good as Che Fico. The suppli are fabulous, but the rigatoni amatriciana (large chewy pieces of guanciale in a generically spicy tomato sauce) and pineapple pizza (needed meat, better/less cheese, and did not benefit from the chili), left a lot to be desired.
The staff has adapted so well to the new rules during Covid and still provided amazing service and high quality of food. Made for a memorable meal out to one of our favorite restaurants.
Based on 1 dinner, the food was carefully prepared and above average. The suppli were perfectly fried and thoughtfully presented/garnished. The tomato sauce incorporated into the rice was somewhat over concentrated and tasted like tomato paste. It lacked a fresh taste. The polenta was rich and creamy, but the vegetables served with it were undercooked/woody. Likewise, although the steak was perfectly cooked, the accompanying greens were ridiculously undercooked. Cocktails were slightly on the sweet side overall. The wines by the glass were well chosen and were a better option. Service on disposable paper plates and distanced was not as unpleasant as I expected. However, the pricing is over the top. This is not the value I expected for this price point....however, maybe we all need to readjust our pricing expectations due to the pandemic.

Miserable experience. Seated at southernmost parklet which got more wind than the others - we watched other patrons enjoy their meals while the wind blew good portions of our chopped salad onto the floor within moments following its arrival to our table, the tray holding our pizza nearly met the same fate. The cost of our meal including tip was about $130 - really poor value (chopped salad, pizza, prosecco) and spendy for the 5 or so minutes we stayed after our food arrived - the wind kept blowing everything off the table despite our futile attempts to anchor all down with cups and bottles - so it was a matter of either staying and losing the rest of our meal to the wind while freezing to death or leave to save what was left and to thaw our fingers. I also thought the tip was generous as it was effectively self-service canteen style: as we had to order at the cashier, as we had to bus our own tables, as we had to eat from paper plates, as we were miserably cold and windblown and while others were happily eating. And while I absolutely respect the stringent measures taken for the sake of employee health and safety, I found it to be completely overpriced for a completely unhappy and subpar experience. I was really excited to see that Che Fico had reopened and was offering outdoor dining, I was very happy to revisit but this last experience has left a bad enough impression that I am hard pressed to return.
We had the focaccia, eggplant caponata, and chopped salad. The focaccia had a great flavor, caponata was decent, and the chopped salad was nice but a tad too acidic. The total with tip came out to be around $50 which we did not feel was a great value. We were hoping for pasta on the menu but they said they were not currently serving it. A bit disappointing.
We enjoyed our first dining out experience since March at Che Fico, and it was wonderful! The precautions the restaurant are taking to keep all of us safe are exemplary. Kyle, who helped us order, was so friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The food was wonderful...the pizza and chopped salad are both huge, and so tasty! We also tried the prosciutto wrapped Asian pears, the suppli, and the eggplant caponata. Everything was excellent. Even my picky tween was raving about everything. This is the perfect outdoor dining space to feel safe, and to enjoy incredible food in a casual setting. We can't wait to go back.
The food is incredible and the service is so friendly! We took visiting family to their outdoor dining for a special treat and they can't stop raving about the food. One of our favorite spots in the city!!
The food was extremely expensive and not very flavorful. Everything was served in disposable plates. You had to order at the counter and then bus your own table.
Great food, though it's a shame COVID has forced them to restrict their menu options. The focaccia is incredible.

Che Fico has the most legit outdoor dining situation in the COVID era. It's clear their management has thought through how to safely and efficiently run their business during this time without sacrificing a great experience or incredible food.

Really nice date place vibe. Excellent wine list. Food was delicious all the way. Highly recommend the eggplant parmigiana, the arancini(suppli al Telefono) and the Stracciatella with blood orange.
Another amazing meal! As always, outstanding food and excellent service. Every dish was wonderful starting with the focaccia, then the lasagna. The cioppino was also delicious and the roast chicken is as good as it can get! Like Zuni, it is served on a bed of croutons and salad, but this is the tastiest and juiciest chicken ever! Desserts were also great including the fantastic Easter tart and the tiramisu. Pretty noisy, but no worse than most San Francisco restaurants
Awesome experience! The food was flavorful and our server was friendly and gave excellent recommendations. We were a group of 4 and had decided to share our meal family-style. The Cacio e Pepe and eggplant parmigiana were particularly delightful.

The food was wonderful. I am disappointed as I noted on reservation booking it was a for birthday celebration & when I arrived I mentioned to the host that I was celebrating my friend's birthday. But when the dessert came there was no candle or recognition of the occasion.

The hostess called me a couple days before and asked if I wanted to eat downstairs or upstairs. I asked if I could check the menu and If she can give me a call back in 5 mins. She said Ofcourse.
Never heard back.
Got to restaurant was sitting on the kitchen bar right by their order set up. Spent the whole dinner trying to talk over their team who was yelling orders all night.
We weren’t super hungry, so I asked them if they can charge us for two but only bring food for one as I don’t wanna throw out any food. They refused.
There was a bunch of other issues but honestly Not worth getting into.
I’ve done 300+ restos just in the last 2 years, won’t be back to this one.
Honestly, I was really excited about this restaurant thinking it was going to be similar to the famed Che Fico. It was not. Admittedly a holiday is not the best to try a new place. We paid for a pre fixe meal for 3. The first course was prosciutto and mozzarella - it was literally a mound of prosciutto and a mound of meh cheese plopped on a plate. Uninteresting. Too large for a starter and nothing to marry the cheese and meet together. We upgraded to include 2 truffle lasagnas that were mediocre at best. When dessert came (as part of the complete meal) we were served 2 desserts but paid for three. And why oh why do people think it’s a great idea to serve bitter fruit in a tart. If it tastes bad and bitter, it’s just bad and bitter. Our server was wonderful. Aside from the server and the wine, dinner was an utter disappointment.

I was ecstatic when I found a Valentines Day reservation available at Che Fico Alimentari. I have heard wonders of the delicious food and great service. However, after measly service, the overpriced menu, and the hair in my food I will never be returning. I would suggest going to Beretta prior to this restaurant.
We end up being in the new addition that the restaurant build on the lower level. I would not compare to our experience we have had in the main restaurant what we end up with this new addition. People are very nice the food is great but it is not quiet the same atmosphere. Still love to dine in here.

Our reservation was at 7:30, didn't get seated until almost 8. The appetizers were incredible. The plates of pasta were meh.

I've eaten at Che Fico Alimentari a number of times, and the place never disappoints. On my last visit I had the pollo diavola, which I've passed over several other times because, well, it's chicken. But don't underestimate the value of a good chef with a good oven and a simple dish. This chicken comes as half a bird (I took about 2/3rds home with me) on a bed of salad greens tossed with their house made bread. I got to watch the chef finish my order by applying several coats of sauce and broiling the chicken to create a great exterior, both in terms of look and taste. I also had a green salad with my dinner. This place features attentive service, great food, and a relaxed atmosphere. They just keep getting busier, so make reservations or be prepared to wait.
