   Pretty average food, grumpy service, and the restaurant had a weird new construction smell. Pasta was served almost at room temperature and over cooked. Will not go back.

   I had the tuna with greens and the squash ravioli appetizer as my main course and it was perfect. Very flavorful dishes and just the right amount for one person for a whole meal. It was a Tuesday night of spring break, so very quiet in the restaurant. Service was excellent. We will return.

   Bloomington has been looking for a great Italian restaurant, and Che Belo is the one.. We had four different meals and all were great. Give it a try, we need more good restaurants than Uptown Cafe.

   Che Bello is one of our favorite restaurants in Bloomington. Our service was less than stellar. Our salads and appetizers were delivered simultaneously, then it was almost an hour before the entrées arrived. Since it was Valentines Day and they had a Prix Fixe menu I would have expected the kitchen to be better prepared. The food was very good, but it would have been a better experience had it been delivered in a timelier manner.

   Was at dinner for over 2.5 hours. Have never been more ready to leave a restaurant. Food was great, but I think our waitress forgot about us. We waited about 40 minutes for our desert and the only reason we got it was because I asked for the check beforehand.

   Pretty disappointed in the service (we waited for an hour for our food) and the quality - expected it to be much better. The wait staff was trying hard but clearly it wasn’t working well.

    We had a wonderful dinner at Che Bello on 1/27/23. We grabbed drinks at the bar before our party arrived. We met the bartender, Nick, who was super friendly and made some great drinks. Our server, Emma, was fantastic! She took great care of all us and laughed at our stupid jokes. The food was fantastic! However....we were all very sad to hear that the garlic mushrooms were removed from the menu. All six of us love the mushrooms...and I don't even like mushrooms! Wish they would put these back on the menu:-( As for our dinners, everything was outstanding! The charcuterie board had a lovely sampling of meats, cheeses, and olives. The bread was delicious and we loved the picked veggies and olives. We all had different entrees (salmon, lasagna, chicken parm, fettuccini alfredo, mushroom ravioli, and the chicken liguara. Everything was delicious! The chicken parm and the liguara were very generous portions...enough for leftovers. Emma was very kind to point out how the salmon was cooked. All in all a great time! Our past experience with Che Bello was hit and miss. The A-Team was definitely on tonight, and we will be back. Thank you for the great dining experience.

    A great Sunday brunch! Ordered the Benedict with the pesto hollandaise which was deliciously seasoned and perfect consistency on the hollandaise. My daughter ordered the salmon hash, which was also very good! A variety of brunch cocktails, a great atmosphere, and with the Italian take on brunch it made for a fun experience!

    We were on our Holiday date night. We sat in the bar area, which was a bright an seemingly nice atmosphere, except there was a staff training/discussion going on at the bar right behind us. We overheard way to much about the food budget, actual spend and labor than we need to know, especially on our date night. Food was only okay. My wife was happy with her meal, mine was mediocre at best. Gwen Stefani - Last Christmas seemingly played over and over in the back ground. This restaurant is capable of a much better customer experience.

    We love the atmosphere, choice of background music is good. lots of floor space to spread out diners and good service. They've cut back on the menu in the past year but the food is still good. It is one of the top two Italian places in Bloomington. If you want a small table for two or a place for larger groups - it can handle both requests. I highly recommend it.

    We celebrated our anniversary I was quite surprised to see an additional 2.5% gratuity added to the bill for the kitchen staff. I’ve been in this industry for over 20 years and I have never seen a gratuity added to the bill for the employees who make the higher dollar per hour than the person who served us. It makes no sense for the diners who are already paying for service, food, wine and an experience to also be charged a fee for the kitchen especially with not being told. Our server was, good, the food was great and we enjoyed ourselves.

    Really disappointed in our meal last night. Salad was wilted and looked like it had sat in a refrigerator prepared for days. Lasagna didn’t seem recently prepared either. Service was slow despite the place being half full. The best thing we had was the cannoli. Underwhelmed as we had heard good things. We won’t be back.

    Service was very slow, friendly but we had to track her down to get a glass of wine. Food was a huge disappointment. Two of us had chicken that was burned black. Waitress had even asked the manager about it and was told " its just the oil". One of us had chicken Alfredo that came with no Alfredo sauce, dry and tasteless. Next time we'll just get a drink at the bar and eat elsewhere.

    I want to say that our waitress was amazing in spite of all the chaos going on. She was sweet, attentive and apologetic about the situation regarding dinner. We ordered drinks and my cosmo was about 1/3 filled in the glass. Very disappointed. We ordered wine and then some appetizers. The meatballs were amazing. Unfortunately our charcuterie meat tray had hair on it. The manager came over and apologized and took it off our bill. We waited over an hour for our waitress to come over and tell us the filet we ordered was unavailable as they only had 1 left. . So we ordered something else. Then the manager came over 25 min later to tell us that the other filet was not available. So we ordered something else. People all around us were complaining about the service and the food not being ready. The restaurant was not that busy, but they were clearly having kitchen issues. When the food finally came out, it was half hot and half cold. We think the manager walked out in the middle of all this. I Hope they can figure things out, but we will not be going back.

    Had a very sweet and attentive server, checked on us enough but didn’t bother and let us have a nice intimate dinner date. We got a charcuterie board and risotto balls to start, couldn’t have been better. I got the mushroom rottolo and my boyfriend got the seared tuna pasta, we both loved our dishes and finished with a perfectly portioned cannoli to share. worth the price, if you wanna be more casual it’s doable but just classy enough, we will be bavk
