Ché prepares authentic empanadas from scratch. The popular De Espinaca is prepared with roasted baby spinach, mozzarella and provolone cheese. The De Carne consists of spiced beef, paprika, cumin, hard boiled egg and olives. All empanadas are served with house-made chimichurri.
Che's bar offers eight house cocktails that include the traditional South American cocktail, Caiprihina. Drink specials are offered daily and happy hour is available 4-7pm Monday through Friday. $2 late-night empanadas are served every night 10-close.
Such a variety of flavors on the menu, guaranteed to give you a unique dining experience.
We had a wonderful experience at Che from start to finish. I would recommend making a reservation especially on weekend evenings. The food was quick and the service was fantastic! We liked it so much we went back the next morning (Sunday) for brunch. We sat in the front of the restaurant so I didn't see the back, if I had to guess I would say it isn't great for large groups but maybe if you call ahead.
The atmosphere here is terrible. Every employee is rude and act as though we are doing them a favor by coming to this restaurant. We will not be returning, which is a bummer because the food is pretty good and unique to this area.
The food was AMAZING! Food was so fresh and flavorful! Loved the decor and great service! Would highly recommend!
As out-of-towners, we were pleasantly surprised by this lively place and its eclectic yet authentic menu. Pleasant, informative servers were a highlight and the food was very good. It's not a place for Argentine steak, but other Argentine dishes are well represented, plus a good selection of Malbecs.
The food is amazing and our server, Mac, was so nice! I would recommend the white sangria, too!
This is one of our favorite spots in OTR. The food is amazing and the place has a great vibe. Love it!
Wonderful food and staff! Definitely coming back!
Matt our waiter was top shelf. Recommended several items which we tried and all perfect. Food was excellent, will be in again when back in Cincinnati
Our server was very attentive, but the food, which we had read and heard great things about, was disappointing. The cocktails and sangria were the highlights - nothing wrong with the empanadas, but they just weren't great. The soup was lukewarm and average flavor-wise.
We had a great time. Che has a good, upbeat vibe, great food and excellent service. We’ll be back!
Food was excellent and our waiter was amazing.
Incredibly poor service.
Cool place with good food, fun atmosphere and service! Definitely recommend the baked empanadas and the grilled romaine salad!
This place is a hidden gem, and one of my favorite restaurants in the city. They have the best empanadas! You can't go wrong with any of them, and they are $1 off for happy hour.
The occasion was my monthly dinner out with friends, and we came to celebrate the birthday of one of the chosen few. Positives: the empanadas were delicious, and the company and ambiance were warm and inviting. Negatives: Out of the red sangria, Bloody Mary came in a very small jar with a lot of ice, one of the orders of corn was cold. We did love the Fundito dip, and I enjoyed all of the empanadas and corn.
I went there for a first date it it was the perfect place.
The food creative and delicious, service wonderful. This was not our first time, nor will it be our last.
Great baked empanadas!!! Really cool atmosphere...and friendly service!
Great place! Come hungry because you're going to want to taste everything! So many great things to say about the food, from the onion relish, chimichurri, their red wine vinaigrette (!!!), to their empanadas.. just come and try for yourself. Wonderful place to meet up with friends! I would highly recommend going with a family style way of dining in mind. We've gone twice so far and will definitely be back! Ask for Matt to help you, that dude was there for every fill up and crazy question that I had!
Great food and wonderful service
I had 4 different empanadas: Caprese and Chicken with salsa verde at first, then short ribs and Spinach. (One fried and one baked at a time).
My absolute favorite was the short ribs one! Outstanding!
Empanadas are amazing! Great food, great ambiance!
Great food and atmosphere! Busy place so service can be slow but if you’re just there to enjoy it’s worth it. Highly recommend the pisco mule and De Carne empanada!
Outstanding food. Great atmosphere and drink selection.
Going away dinner
Great atmosphere, food, and service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.”
Our first time there. Everything was great! Food was delicious and service was friendly and efficient. Patio was interesting and nice shady trees. Can’t wait to go back!
The service was a bit haphazard. The food was great. We enjoyed the variety of different empanadas.
We went for happy hour for the first time! The food was fantastic but the waitress was slightly unknowledgeable and when we asked about happy hour deals she didn’t seem to know them... empanadas were $1 off and we also got $1 off wine! It was really fun, we just wish we had known about the deals because we probably would’ve ordered more food. HIGHLY recommend the short rib empanada!!
We had a wonderful meal. Great service and delicious food. Would definitely recommend.
Delicious food across the board. A little pricey but we all left full and happy so that’s a plus. Would definitely go back.
We went to Che Argentinian to celebrate my son's birthday. We had reservations and were seated right away and were greeted by our server. She was very attentive without being overly eager and was helpful in our menu and wine selections. We started with the fundido and an order of black cherry wings and roasted red pepper wings to share. The fundido was good but the wings were fabulous! The wings were very succulent and very flavorful. I could have just eaten those and be satisfied. They were that good.
Two of our kids ordered the beef skewers with the chimichurri sauce. Both were excellent and served medium. The French fries were also really good and totally unexpected for "just fries". They were crispy and had a good natural flavor which paired well with the skewers.
My husband ordered the Argentinian sausages which were very flavorful and had the right amount of seasoning without being overpowering. I ordered empanadas: beef short rib, Korean BBQ, crab rangoon and jerk chicken. All the meat ones were unique and very tasty. I highly recommend trying them although it really isn't enough to share as they came individually. (Of course this didn't prevent my son and husband from trying them. :)). I was a little disappointed in the crab rangoon as there wasn't enough of a "crab" taste for my palate and it just seemed like a second rate Chinese item.
Our entire group also sampled the desserts: Oreo nutella empanadas, apple empanada and the goat cheese cheesecake. There were no complaints and lots of satisfied stomachs. We would definitely go back again.
First time here and really enjoyed the experience. We tried empanadas (jerk chicken, Korean BBQ, and jamon and queso), chicken milanesa, and sopa de zapallo - all so yummy! Will he returning.
I really love restaurant week. It gives people an opportunity to try your staple dishes for a reduced cost so that they will want to come back. That being said, Che offered some things not on their regular menu which I am going to assume was the cause of a very long wait for food. We first ordered the Fundito (on the regular menu) because I wasn’t sure if I was going to do their RW menu. SO SO AMAZING. It came with pita bread that appeared to be somewhat charred. I’d eat that every day. When the server told us that the cheesecake was only offered on the RW menu, I decided I could always take something home. We ordered some empanadas, pork belly and short rib. Those came about 30 minutes after the initial app. Very good. The pork was a bit spicy and not for the faint of heart, but delicious. The short rib was nothing short of magical. We then waited again for entrees . We ordered skirt steak with risotto. It had a beautiful presentation. My date promptly picked off the vegetables he would not eat and put them on my plate. Digging in, it had an overwhelming lemon and refreshing flavor, however; it was luke warm at best. The server came back and informed us that they were out of the cheesecake (the reason I did that menu). I can’t help it being ordered and demolished by everyone but me, but I did express my disappointment. When the server realized that I had only done the RW menu for that, she asked if I liked the other food. I told her it was wonderful but a bit cold. She was clearly upset and wanted us to have a good experience. She said she wanted us to love it. She went to the kitchen and told them (meanwhile I overheard another server taking back the same thing saying the patron said it was cold). The chef came out and delivered us a new, steaming plate of food. Although we didn’t expect or ask for it, it was appreciated. We ended up getting the dessert empanadas (Apple and Oreo). Overall good experience and props for giving RW a whirl
Great food & service. Fun place to go.
Amazing empanadas! The food was great and the servers were friendly.
We went for a restaurant week and paid $36 for a 4 course meal. The portions were small and we felt the $36 was probably a little too high.
We tried a few different options between our group.
Our favorites were: the empanadas, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and bacon, and the brisket.
we did have dessert the Oreo empanada and the cheesecake but to be honest nobody talked about those.
Loved our server, loved the energy and the food was great! This place just has a really great, welcoming vibe!
Perfect ! Great food, we ordered empanadas, they have a good variety and every one we tasted they’re delicious, nice place, we enjoy a birthday party with family
