Chef Khalid Mohammed's Chaud Restaurant offers modern, international cuisine with a touch of Caribbean flair. Favourites include the guava barbecue shrimp and creamy cheddar grits with applewood-smoked bacon or a tasting of three tartares -yellowfin tuna, Atlantic salmon, and Chilean sea bass - and that's just to start. Chef Khalid prides himself on freshness, quality and creativity with entrees that include tamarind-glazed double-cut pork chop, and the maple-glazed double duck breast with apple butter. Chef Khalid continues to excel with his restaurant Chaud. From the minute you are welcomed to the moment you eat that last piece of dessert you know and feel that you are having a wonderful culinary experience. Food and service are top class. We had appetizers- pork belly and a seafood dish, lamb and snapper with a molten lava cake for dessert.

Not worth the money......pretentious at best!!!! Food was below what wa expected.......servers were nice but overwhelmed...... they allowed young children on Valentines...... Overall would not go there again if I had a Choice!!!!!!

It's amazing that the restaurant takes reservations while hosting a private event. We weren't allowed to get in. It's a real shame from what it seems to be a classy venue.

The menu options were sufficient and quite delightful.. Dinner was superb and did not disappoint. The chef was very complimentary throughout. Desert was fantastic. Service throughout was very welcoming and warm while maintaining professionalism.

I had the pleasure of dining at Chaud, while on a recent trip to Trinidad and what an amazing experience! Chef/Patron Khalid whips up the most amazing creations from locally sourced ingredients. I was looking forward to the evening and Chef Khalid and his staff far exceeded my expectations! Thank you, Chef Khalid! I will be back in the near future!

The food was delicious but the service was excellent. The pork belly, octopus and the ceviche appetizers were excellent. Wish I had tried the beef short rib, crab stuffed shrimp was excellent and the pork loin was enjoyable.

Went to lunch. Carnival season. Great experience fantastic service and great tasting food. Soup could have been warmer but did not take away from the taste
