   Everything is overpriced. And different menu price than online. $16 for warm corn with Fritos. Not worth the prices.

   This was probably the worst experience my wife and I have ever had at a restaurant. Should’ve listened to the local who told us to steer clear. First started when a server was coming inside from the patio as we walked up and didn’t attempt to hold the door for us, then as we waited for our table in the cramped front host area, a server loudly shouted “excuse me! This is the only way through” and forced his way through the group of people waiting (as if we knew the layout of the place). Then we get to the host stand, and she just points at our table and has us walk ourselves. No “enjoy” not even letting us know that the menus were on the table. It took a few minutes to be greeted which was fine because we were in the bar and they looked busy. The server came over and as he took our drink order he began to walk away from me while I was fully in the middle of a sentence. Every single staff member we interacted with was rude and acted like they were above us and we were impeding on their evening by being there. We frequent Fredericksburg and will not be back, nor would we ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. We did see the owner, Chase, interact with a couple of guests and he seems sweet. He may just need new staff before they ruin the reputation of his restaurant.

   The food was good, however, the drinks which were supposedly fantastic were not mixed right. One of our 6 had the drink remade and it still tasted bad. Another didn't even bother to try to get her drink corrected. Maybe the bar tender was new?

   As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Chase’s Place. We actually arrived an hour earlier than our reservation, but Chase happened to be standing near the hostess checkin and was able to accommodate immediate seating at 6:00 PM on a Saturday night. Our waiter Sam was amazing and made the evening even more enjoyable through good conversation and attentive service. Overall, always a perfect evening with great food and great people.

   My husband and I went to Chase’s place to celebrate our anniversary. We decided we wanted drinks and lounge vibe ans this place was perfect! The staff was great, food was great, and drinks were rememberable! Specifically, their espresso martini! Literally, the best espresso martini I've ever had! Highly recommend!!

   Loved the ambiance and decor of this perfectly quaint lounge! GET THE DEER SEASON cocktail!! It is absolutely worth the $$! I think I sold it to all the tables nearby because I couldn’t stop raving about it! Our server (Sam I think was his name) was super nice and the owner, Chase, even came to our table to check on us! I felt bad because I didn’t realize this was more of a lounge than full restaurant and brought our baby. I don’t think it’s strictly 21+ but it’s more suitable/comfortable for just adults :) the only comment I have about the food is the smash burger really isn’t a “smash” burger. It’s very thick/round and the center of the bun was burnt. Not a big deal, we still enjoyed it, just wasn’t what we were expecting, nor the table next to us who ordered the same. Either way, definitely recommend! Especially for the cocktails!!

   I absolutely love Chase‘s place! I highly recommend this spot. They never disappoint in anyway. Chase is so amazing!! The food is delicious and always worth going. I love how the menu changes frequently. I’ve never had anything bad here.

    Chase’s Place is our favorite place to grab dinner and drinks in Fredericksburg. It’s got such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and Chase and his staff are incredible hosts.
