Chase's La Verne
Steak & Frites

Disappointing service this visit. Half hour til a someone approached our table after being seated. Then told kitchen is an hour behind. Hour and 50 minutes after arriving food arrived.
Great Old Fashioned
Risotto was delicious
Wonderful outdoor seating, which was somewhat bothersome to be right next to the street. Overall a wonderful meal, as usual.
Our brunch food and the mimosas were delicious . Our waiter was outstanding. Very attentive and friendly but not intrusive. We sat outside near the street but it wasn’t loud or distracting.
Service was good, has been better in the past, I suspect this is due to being short staffed. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The steaks were over cooked and the risotto was extremely salty. Chicken fried chicken was bland. The pork, charcuterie board, cocktails and bread pudding were delicious! The crime brûlée was drowning in berries and juice, it tasted good, but there was no crunch. Too many berries.
Melissa was absolutely amazing!
Great service, excellent food and a wonderful ambiance.
Birthday Dinner for my lovely wife. Food was excellent and the server was very attentive. Enjoyed the experience.
The kitchen was a little behind (pandemic staff shortages), but our server was fantastic. Attentive and courteous staff, amazingly delicious food. We sat outside on a fire pit and had a wonderful evening. The warm of the fire, the twinkling lights and the cool night air make for an exceptional ambiance. Can’t wait to go back!
Love the restaurant. We all had salads for lunch which are fabulous.
The food was out of this world. It’s a great place for a really really good meal. The wait staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. If you want a really good steak…I recommend the tenderloin. You must try this place! They are popular, so I would suggest a reservation.
Overall we had a nice time. Only complaint is we were 4 and the table was tiny yet there were bigger tables available. Sunday brunch menu is limited but my mushroom grilled cheese was delish! Our server was nice enough to take pictures of us.
Service started off a little slow; is the current times with restaurants needing service staff help.
Food was good!!
Server was very, very good once she got going.
The food quality was good, but overpriced for what we received. We weren't offered bread, so I asked for some. The two rolls they brought were very tasty, but they added $2.00 to the bill for the rolls! My "catch of the day" entree was good (ono), but the piece of fish was only served with a carrot puree and a very few vegetables. Not very filling.
In general, the experience was OK, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to others because the value (price paid versus food received) was not good.
Chase's is a great place to eat and have wine and watch Sporting events. The food is great and the Servers are very attentive.
Excellent service and food
The service was great, starting with the hostess, waitress, we ate outside and they were very attentive by putting up and taking down umbrellas without us having to ask, their dinner specials were spot on, have been there 3x’s and never disappointed, always making us feel like we are special!
Awesome! Food was fantastic! Our new go-to.
Excellent service and good food!
Think Yardhouse on a smaller scale with some specialty items
Service was slow, but that is to be expected post COVID. Everyone is really trying. Food was average and cost was exceptionally high . Not worth it for us. If you sit in the patio , there are excessive flies! It actually ruins the meal! For use, we are one and done.
Food was great, server Sean was amazing. Thanks again Chase’s
We’ve been here before and like it. Sadly, last night was disappointing. They didn’t have the drink special advertised on the board; they didn’t have some main menu items nor ANY fish available. There were kitchen supplies in view and a large, loud floor fan near tables-all taking away from the experience of an otherwise nice restaurant
Absolutely wonderful experience and fantastic food! Highly recommend this restaurant!
This is a nice neighborhood restaurant that has good food and atmosphere. It also caters to military with a 15 % discount. Good place to go and have a few drinks and enjoy a very casual setting. The cinnamon bread pudding is outstanding.
Great place for a great meal & a good time! We'll be back!
Met up with my good friend to catch up. A beautiful evening to sit outside on their pretty patio. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Had the risotto with chicken...yum! Pear martini was yummy, and strawberry cobbler a la mode was divine!
Food was average. Took extremely long time for food to come out and in between courses. Service was ok equal to going to like a chili’s or on par with those type of restaurants. Cauliflower for appetizer, surf n turf for entree and cinnamon bread pudding for dessert.
Amazing food great service will come again. Just stay away from the orange basil bread pudding and you will be good
Service a bit slow. Appetizers came out right away....main course 20 min later.
Excellent striped bass coupled with good service made a wonderful meal.
Amazing food and wine! Great place for dinner celebrations an anniversary!
Great food, great drinks. Service was good and staff were friendly.
Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience. Food and service were great
Outstanding experience all the way around. This was our second time there, and both times the owner has come to our table to introduce himself and check on our experience. The servers were highly attentive and the food is amazing. Highly recommend the fried cauliflower appetizer. I would go back just for that. Live music mid-week? Yes please.
Spinach artichoke dip - tasted like something was missing. came with very boring naan bread, which didn't match very well
Berry salad - decent, but excess dressing
Crab cake - decent, but nothing special
Australian wagyu steak - definitely not wagyu quality
Overall, food tasted like an upgraded version of Applebees, but definitely not worth what you pay for.
Sunday night. Warm outside. Beautiful wife. Three great reasons to go out to dinner and what a dinner it was. Found Chase’s and what a find it was. A beautiful spot in a great town. Quiet evening and relaxing inside.
Had a tomahawk for dinner, and the cook was perfect on the steak. Really hard to perfect a good cook on a piece of meat that large. Delicious. Wife had two double-cut lamb chops. Again, cooked perfectly.
Their open topped, outside grill is amazing. It is a just go to spot for a great m, casual evening. You make this as fancy as you want.
We will be back
The outdoor patio is spacious, comfortable, and pleasantly cool and shaded during brunch hours. But like all businesses rught now, they're probably short employees and that means service for refills is slow as is the food. However, the servers we did see were cheerful and helpful and the food is really good. We'll worth a visit, you just have to be a little patient.
Great staff super nice very accommodating and the food is good definitely recommend it
