Chart House Restaurant - Weehawken Ratings and Reviews
Valet service was a torture test and took over 20 minutes waiting in line of cars - and all that for an extra $8. Took nearly as long to get the car after the meal as well. Service was average, food came out late and just warm. Serve staff not attentive and checked in very little during too long a wait. Had a casino restaurant feel. Stay away unless you don't care about quality of food and just want to look at Manhattan skyline.
I took my wife to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Place is very nice with a spectacular view of NYC. Ambience is vibrant , nice. However the food was OK ordered teondifferent fish plates and they were tasteless , very low in salt , we were somehow dissatisfied given the location and infrastructure of this place
Our waiter Carlos, was extremely caring, my Wife & I were there to celebrate her Birthday & Our Anniversary. And when my wife stepped out for a minute, he suggested a desert that included Happy Birthday & Anniversary on the desert. Job well Done. Things like that customers NEVER Forget!!
Such a fantastic night. My boyfriend and I felt so welcomed at the restaurant. It was a special occasion and everyone there made sure that we had the best night, and sure we did. The food was amazing but of course the chocolate lava cake was to die for. It was our first time there but they made it seemed like we've been there for ages. I will definitely go again.
Very busy with 3 holiday parties and other guests. Yet, Friday night dinner was a special experience. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Food came out promptly. Thought initially that my steak was medium well , not medium as requested. Mentioned to the waitress, decided to continue eating as the steak was delicious, although waitress apologized and offered to replace. As it turned out, it was perfectly medium in the center. Manager came to apologize again and offered a free desert . All this was above and beyond. Classy restaurant with folks that clearly care about the customer experience. Oh yeah, the scenic view of Manhattan skyline was breathtaking!
I dined here with my family for my mom’s birthday. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. He really made sure my mom enjoyed her special day. However, the food came out really slow. The wait between receiving the complimentary bread, appetizers, entrees and dessert was always at least 25 minutes. With that said my mom felt like a princess so I guess that’s all that really matters.
This was my first time at this restaurant and cannot wait to go back, because the lobster tail was to die for , I could of ate two😊. For me it was just a bit too dark inside, but the food was delicious and the appetizer stackable omg!! Delicious , and the view, wow!! Just breathtaking 😊. The food is also a bit pricey, but it's worth it on a special occasion.
Great place, view, food general manager Hans and especially our server Megan. We have been all over the world and we feel we have this gem in our back yard. Hans does and exceptional job finding his staff, we have been goming down from NE Pennsylvania for years and they are the best every time.
The view is incredible; the food is delicious; and the service is outstanding. My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays and were treated like royalty. We were not rushed, yet received attentive service that was not disruptive. Chart House is a fabulous place to dine.
This place is evething you want in a restaurant; fantastic view, service, and food. The noise volume was perfect for conversation so you don’t have to scream at your significant other or friend.
We had Sween to our service and she was absolutely amazing. She would answer any questions regarding the menu with a description so exquisite that you can actually taste it as she described the dish or drink in question. The lava cake desert is to die for so save some room for desert. ;)
Always enjoy the Chart house, this time was not one of the best. Service was lacking, we saw our waiter minimally and fortunately had a nice assistant/busboy who helped out. Food was good, but seemed prepared and thrown on the plate quickly, probably better to go when they are not so busy. Always enjoy the view!
Sitting next to the Hudson River across from, and a view of (34th Street) the Westside of Manhattan. Day or night, the view is spectacular. The food is fresh, tasted delicious and was served at the correct temperature. The service was impeccable. What else can I say. A must on your list!
