For a restaurant at this price range found the timing on the food awkward and the waitstaff mediocre. I had to repeatedly ask for refills on my water. We ordered drinks that it did state would take a while fine with that but my drink arrived about 5 minutes after my wife’s. One of our dinner sides came several minutes after our dinners. We order dessert and coffee, desserts took time again that was fine but came 10 min after the coffee. Food was very good and who could complain about the view!
Not up to Chart house standards.
Great for a special lunch or dinner
A very nice place to celebrate an occasion. Our waiter was very friendly.
My wife ordered a filet cooked medium got it well done! I ordered the ribeye medium and got a NY strip cooked well done. So was not happy with that. Service was good though.
Awesome great place great service
To be honest the food is a little pricey. Besides the prices it was great. My wife has a gluten allergy and you guys accommodated us very well.
Very good place .the food and ambience was great. Only thing I would like to see is more number of options for vegetarians
Went here for Valentines Day and it was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend the filet or the prime rib along with the shrimp and crab fondue. The only thing was that it was a bit pricy, but the food represented its value.
This was our 3rd year celebrating our anniversaries. Our friends which we share an anniversary drive to San Antonio for the occasion. Every year I make a reservation for us. Every year we enjoy everything about our experience. For 2 years after dinner we are presented with a desert for each couple to share. Which is extremely good gesture for the end of a perfect evening. But this year we were extremely disappointed, we did not receive our anniversary after dinner bonus.
The food and service was excellent. I had the swordfish that was recommended by Alejandro and it was perfect. The Lava cake was amazing! I’ll definitely be returning!
AAAA++++ Experience!!! Loved the view with the 360 degree rotation. Great for Valentines Day. Thanks for a great time! Cheers
Awesome experience. Food, service and scenery no complaints...
Also asked for them to put flowers for my wife on the table and they did exactly that....
I requested rose pedals at our table. The manager of restaurant greeted us at table with a rose and spread pedals around table. Which i thought was first rate top notch.
Food, service, ambiance was at its finest. Thx
The food was delicious and our waitress was quite good. The rotation of the restaurant was a novel experience. It's a bit expensive but very fun to visit on occasion.
Server was excellent.
Food was cold, staff said they ran out of certain appetizers/entrees were not prepared
Late Valentines dinner! Reservation was easy to make and the experience was everything expected. Definitely going back more often
Made reservations and took more than 30 minutes to seat. Venue seems understaffed. The views were great but was disappointed that we did not get our food for more than an hour after sitting. In all we made reservations at 9:30 and were served main courses near midnight. As much as the views were beautiful would probably recommend another venue.
Maybe it was because it was Valentine's day but our server was wasn't attentive like I saw the other servers, only time I saw her was to take our order and bring it. And plus the our food was just a little warm, not hot. But she was real quick right around the corner to pick up the check
It was a good. The food was excellent and having an option to choose from the sweetheart menu and the regular menu was even a better option. Looking forward for next year's Valentine's day.
We felt like we were being rushed. The waiter took my drink before I was finished with it. He also took silverware from our table before we were served. You would think a restaurant with this kind of prestige would have enough silverware.
The food however was excellent.
We celebrated Valentines at 5:15 in the evening. Watched the sunset and then enjoyed the view both light and in the dark. Our waiter was especially good.
Great Valentine's Day date for my wife and I. I proposed to her in the Tower of Americas Restuarant 42 years ago on Valentine's Day and we've tried to make it back most years for either anniversary (proposal or wedding).
The food was awesome. It was cooked to perfection. The service was great. Highly recommend!
Our server was the sweetest and food amazing as always!!
We had a great time, the view was amazing as well as the food. The only thing that could have made it better was if the music wasn’t so loud. We couldn’t hear each other when talking very well. Other than that it was an amazing time and I can not wait to go back!
This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time- our waiter was a little absent minded and had to ask repeatedly (that’s why service only got 4 stars) but overall it made for a perfect night.
Great place to spend a special event. They treated us well and let us linger while we enjoyed our special moments.
Special prix fix meal that was a home run
Amazing dining experience. Went on a clear day just before the sun set. Awesome views of San Antonio and beyond.
There are many wonderful menu choices for dinner. The Swordfish Steak is full of flavor. The filet steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely going back next time in San Antonio.
Although the waitress was friendly, our service was so slow! We didn’t even place out appitizer order till 40 minutes after we were seated. The food was excellent. There were times in certain spots that was freezing cold and was unpleasant. Overall experience was ok.
All the people working here seemed upset/bored/u happy. Our waitress was not attentive or excited to be there. The food wasn’t great either. The only good thing about it was the view.
Awesome service and food! Not too many options for someone that does not eat seafood!
Our first visit there. It’s an exciting place. Our food, waiter and experience was excellent. Just a bit spendy.
I have severe food allergies and the waitress assured me they could prepare my food correctly. I woke up the next day with my eyes swollen closed! They did not prepare my food as I requested and they promised.
Yes I would, I actually told a couple of friends that will attending for Valentines.
It took a long time for us to get our bill and my dessert was stale, but our dinner was great.
The atmosphere was amazing! I truly felt like a VIP walking in and dining with the Chart house Restaurant. Unfortunately my food was overcooked just a little, but I still enjoyed it and the server even came back with the dish scratched off of the check. I would have paid for it either way but the standards that they give themselves here speaks for itself. I loved the view from our table and I will definitely be coming back next time I am in San Antonio.
