server had an excellent service, my son is 11 yrs old , however the server spoke to my son with respect and made my son feel special on his birthday ,

We had dined at a Chart House in Florida, which was excellent. The one we just went to in Scottsdale is not up to par. The salmon was under cooked and the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat were tiny. The decor needs a refresh, tired and old looking. Limited options available for a glass of wine. We will not dine here again.

Anniversary dinner with my bride. Very pleasant atmosphere, great service (thanks Sharon!) and to top it off, my daughter called the restaurant and paid for our dinner by phone! Great surprise and grateful the restaurant did this for her.

Sharon our waitress was very helpful on going over the specials and main dishes. The lake views and water birds were fun to watch during dinner. We had drinks after dinner at the bar which was like an old school Florida room. Our 1st experience here was excellent and I would definitely recommend this place to you.

Our server started off telling us it was his first night so we didn’t expect much. Turns out we had the best service ever. The food was perfect, especially the prime rib. Beautiful atmosphere for a romantic evening

The food and the waiter were great, but the room was quite warm and uncomfortable. The air conditioning is definitely not working properly. Many around us were using hand fans to cool themselves off. Not sure what the problem is, but you should get it fixed

I don't know how I haven't learned about this gem of a restaurant before now! After almost twenty years in Phoenix, you'd think someone would have mentioned this fabulous establishment for superior seafood with a lovely view. We thoroughly enjoyed my husbands birthday dinner here a few days ago. The service was superb (thanks TJ!) and the food was absolutely delicious! We dined on King crab legs, coconut crusted shrimp, shrimp cocktail, the filet mignon and a Ceasar salad. Be sure to checkout their delicious drink menu too! (some of the non-alcoholic drinks were absolutely delicious~!) We will absolutely be going back....and soon!

The stuffed shrimp entree was excellent! We would come back.

Prime Rib was perfectly cooked and had such a great flavor. 3 potato mash was yummy. Wait staff was very patient and helpful with my dietary restrictions. We were seated with a nice view of the lake and the low noise level made it a great dining experience.

We had a nice dinner overlooking the water. Food was delicious. The Lobster Bisque was awesome!

The food was mediocre and high priced.

Food and service was very good. I felt the price for the portion size of the items included was somewhat expensive. Not sure if I’ll return or not.

The food was great (we all got the Chart Your Course) and the service was even better. The lobster bisque was outstanding. They sat us by the window overlooking the lake. A wonderful downpour washed over the lake at sunset and the geese flew by. The whole evening was perfect.

Unable to get rare roast beef upon request. Was my birthday but no acknowledgement from staff. Wait staff attentive.

The food was delicious. The wait staff was outstanding - Carver was very attentive. The view was beautiful.

Our Server must have been having a Bad day… he was Out of touch .. seemed Stressed. Needs to be More Patient and Better Communication.

Birthday Cake was Really good tho and Our Meals we’re good—Although my husband’s Baked Potato was Wayyy Too Salty!?

It’s was Semi-Disappointing.

Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one, the decor and ambience is old and needs to be revamped. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant and we have no complaints with the service we received.
My cocktail, a Mojito, had no flavor. My sparkling water was served in a wine glass, and when I went to take a sip I smelled a very strong and bad odor, and I brought it to the attention of one of the employees, I believe a manager, she agreed with me and quickly brought us both new glasses and an extra bottle of sparkling water to compensate for the glasses.
My halibut was served with a creamy white sauce, which is not what I was expecting, especially with a good piece of halibut, and the couscous side dish had no flavor to speak of and not very appetizing and was bland.
The other entree ordered was the Mahi, baked, and that was just OK. Sautéed mushrooms and creamed spinach, again, nothing special or extraordinary.
We have dined at Chart Houses in Miami, Oahu, the Big Island in Hawaii, and we assumed this location would be excellent, but we were disappointed tonight.

We dine out a lot in this area and for what we paid tonight, could have had a much better meal elsewhere.

Good food, service and atmosphere but TOO PRICEY for a chan.

Because of Covid we had not been here for some two years, but it was great to return to one of our favorite restaurants. Nice summer menu of selections. Miss the salad bar which we hope returns this fall or winter. Excellent waiter in Mitchell.

Beautiful setting but unfortunately we had a loud table next to us sharing their personal finances with the restaurant. Food was average at best.

Wonderful atmosphere in a beautiful setting! The price is not inexpensive but the delicious food and the perfect atmosphere make it worth it!

It is a nice place , great ambience and service was ok. It did not get 5 stars: We were there for my daughters birthday but the restaurant did not do anything special for her which was disappointing. The menu is a little stale. Nothing exciting or different. Going to a high $ seafood restaurant my expectation were much higher. In general ok place but did not exceed in any area except great location.

For our 35th Wedding Anniversary this was our go to destination spot! Actually every year for at least the last 6 yrs except during pandemic we dine here for special occasions and Anniversary for sure. Made a reservation and acknowledged by the hostess who we believe did not tell anyone about our celebration!!!
This will be the last time we ever dine in our spot! The food was not the same. The coconut crunchy shrimp was a big disappointment. The Spinach salad was good as usual as was the Prime Rib.
The service ruined the whole experience along with the Lake Gnats flying on our table and food. My wife gave the server a notice about the gnats and he replied "you should have requested to sit somewhere else...the building is old and we cannot seal those door windows...so next time sit somewhere else...". I have nothing more to say!
I did call back and spoke with the manager who apologized and offered a free dessert...

We were two couples celebrating our wedding anniversaries. We could not have been happier with our experience at Chart House. It's a beautiful location, and the menu had a nice variety of choices at reasonable prices, other than the MP items.

Beautiful restaurant, and it was lovely to sit looking out at the water. The steaks were perfection and everything was cooked and displayed just right. This is not somewhere I would eat every day but it is great for special occasions (we went for Father's Day and my husband was plenty happy with the choice!). Not sure I would bring little ones. The server seemed a little nervous or something but he did a great job.

Food was excellent and our waiter was friendly, and knowledgeable, very professional!

For the first time we can remember it ever happening, upon approaching our table for the first time, our server, Mitchell, greeted us by our sir name. This was such a wonderful greeting and personalized our experience from the start. Our order was taken quickly, arrived promptly and everything was exceptional. We will dine at the Chart House again and will take our visitors because we will be sure their experience will be as great as ours was.

Service could be better

Had pre Father’s Day dinner. As usual, it was a fantastic all around night!

Unfortunately that was one of the worst dinners ever… and it was a birthday treat out. Our waiter had zero personality and the food was horrible. I had the mahi with peanut sauce and it was completely uneatable. The fish was the victim of freezer burn and a microwave. My husband is now in cold sweats on the way home from all of the meat tenderizer on the prime rib. The chopped salad… neither had any of the toppings such as hearts of palm listed on the menu, and the dressing lacked any acidity.

With so many amazing places in scottsdale… do not come here!
