Everything about this restaurant was done right. The food, drinks, and service were all to perfection. Thank you to Joshua for great attention to detail at our table and for giving as a fabulous dining experience!
My friend and I enjoyed the evening dinner at the Chart House. It was my friend's Birthday and she was surprised with the end of the night dessert with a candle.
Everything was great. We had a lovely Mother’s Day dinner.
One of your wait staff kindly offered to do some picture taking.
One of his colleagues, wait staff, decided to photo bomb the pictures. She must have thought it was funny. We did not.
Take my family to the Chart House on all special occasions. A big draw is the world class salad bar. LOVE the caviar!! You should have a couple of varieties of caviar.....I would absolutely increase my visits!
The hostess greed as with a friendly smile as well as the sever. The food was excellent and the temperature was just right. As busy as the place was the chefs did a excellent job in preparing and cooking the food.
perfect mothers day meal. loved it. the food, view, service and ambiance were impeccable
Leslie was wonderful!!! She made sure our special evening was perfect!!! The food was perfect!!! Will definitely return on our next trip to Scottsdale!!!!
Once again Thank you Leslie!!!
The Lava cake is to die for!!!
The Chart House is our restaurant of choice for special times. The setting and ambiance are superb! We always receive a cheerful, friendly greeting when entering. All of the tables share a beautiful view of the McCormick Ranch lake. The servers are friendly and attentive. The food selection is great. I am a beefeater and my companion is a seafood lover. We both have wide selections and, often, new choices. We both like wine and they have a great selection. All of the above combine for a delightful dining experience that we repeat fairly often.
Celebrating our sons graduation. Our table was ready and waiting for us. The service and ambiance outstanding! The food was good. Some of the food items were cold and unfortunately did not meet expectations. We would give them another try!
Not a bad meal at any Chart House we have been to. This was our first time going to the Scottsdale place. Great views!
Our steaks were not made the way we ordered them. The waitress did make it right and had new steaks made, but by the time we received the steaks, the rest of our party had finished. The entire table had to wait for drinks. We ended up asking the waitress for drinks to go. The location is lovely, but wasn’t impressed with our food.
Everything was quite good except for the physical condition of the table we were seated at. It was unstable beyond belief for a classy restaurant. I frequently had to steady the table with my hands to keep the drinks from spilling.
Fix your furniture and you'll ave a winner.
Great dining room, lakeside restaurant with extensive wine list and variety of seafood.
We celebrated my brother and my best friends birthday. Had not been there in probably at least 15 years and it still was as nice as ever. Forgot how charming and lovely it is.
Disappointed that there was no Halibut and only one Sea Bass available. We ordered around 6:30 pm
It seems to me that after only being open for 1 1/2 hours you should have a full menu, especially since the waiter bragged about the Sea Bass.
Greated by a unhappy receptionist who barked back " no window seats available, cannot you see that?" At desk, no way to see.
Waiter was ok to bad, Forgot the extra order of a glass of wine, did not bring the correct order of a larger cut prime rib for me and disappeared for 10 minutes after order delivered. Ate it vs cold food and it was our Anniversary. Talked about all the Prime Rib he gets to take home.
The water boy brought us water with "must be Pepper" floating in it.
Never to return.
Food and service was good. Pricy for what we got. In serious need of a remodel!
Did my Landry points get added using 480.391.8290?
Food was great service was lacking. 😡
1-forgot to bring our salads
2-waiter disappeared for long periods of times
3-daughters drink was ordered 3 times before it came
4- asked it we wanted more bread said yes it never came
5- never was asked if we wanted another cocktail only had 1 all our drinks were empty
6-ordered dessert while we ordered entrees because it takes 25 mins they forgot to put it in had to wait another 25 mins and have to reorder it.
7- had to asked 2 servers to get our check snd didn’t come back to process it had to go to the bar to find someone.
Very very disappointed to have this type of service and pay that type of money. First experience and wouldn’t go back or recommend
My server was very nice. However the front desk staff was unprofessional. Dress too casual and inappropriate for fine dining restaurant. Too much random personal chatter. I needed help with transportation and I sat there for over 30 min struggling with online access to Uber with connectivity. They could care less, offering little assistance. I asked for taxi assistance. They gave me a telephone number to make my own arrangements. I would have thought they could have called on my behalf. When I finally got through I walked out of the restaurant and they could care less. I was dining alone that night as I was traveling, it was Easter Sunday I am a single woman 60. I was basically ignored.
Our table was by the window with a beautiful view of the lake. John, our server, was very attentive and friendly, and the food was superb. The filet and the swordfish were done just right, and the expansive salad bar provided lots of choices.
We had a wonderful meal, the presentation was amazing! The service was excellent as well! The Chart House has an extensive wine list.
Service was not great but the staff was kind. Maybe understaffed that evening., nice view of pond. Food was good.
Excellent atmosphere and very friendly staff. If you get the opportunity, I recommend Julian as a server
We arrived a few minutes early and were immediately escorted to a table with a view of the lake. Our server, Joshua, was knowledgeable and friendly and gave us the perfect amount of attention. My husband ordered the mahi-mahi and I ordered lobster. Both were excellent, but I think his was the tiniest bit better and more flavorful. It was our anniversary, and the food and the ambience made for a great evening. We will be back!
Our waiter was incredible and his food recommendations were spot on. We love coming to this restaurant and recommend it to everyone!
Delicious fish, lovely salad bar and good service -- a winning combination! Also, a nice setting overlooking the lake.
Food normally wonderful and perfect was over cooked and when replaced took 20 minutes and everything else was then cold! Server seemed to be to busy to do a good job. View was over a area of construction!? Bill was brought to me two times before it was correct. When spending this kind of money you should be able to get much better than was provided! Completely disappointed!
Perfect in every way - ambiance, service and quality of the food.
We had an excellent and delicious meal served by a very nice waiter named Joshua. We enjoyed it all and are stuffed.
Pretty good. Havent eaten here in years. May give it another try. My jack daniels and 7up was
Missing the jack daniels.
Food was awesome and the view was wonderful. I am guessing our waitress was having an off night because the service was terrible. Her overall attire and attitude was not the typical friendly service we were accustomed too. Dinner was almost over before she asked if I would like a second glass of wine. I would have if she would have asked 15 minutes prior to my meal being finished. Waiting till dinner was finished was a little late. I have never undertipped in my life and if it wasn't for the rest of the team that she shares her tips with I would have.
This however will not discouraage us from returning.
I was nervous because of some other reviews but am so glad we went. Went for our anniversary. It was great food. Service was pretty good and the ambience was great. Will go again.
Great food and service
Service was not great. Food was ok. Drinks were good. Buffet area should not be visible to dining area; unaesthetically appealing. Not impressed with menu or salad bar.
Appreciated personalized birthday message on menu and birthday card.
Great views, good service and food. Only disappointment was the creamer spinach. Were excited to order it but when it came, it was dry and most of the flavor came from the breadcrumbs, or whatever covered it. With that said, nice restaurant.
I have already recommended the chart house to other friends.
We had a peculiar waiter. His name was Josh and he was very kind. There was one member of our group that doesn’t know dining etiquette very well and Josh helped him with. We appreciated this, as we were a group of teenagers having dinner before prom.
Although, I would definitely say that if Josh were to do that with a group of adults, I’m not sure how that would be taken.
Food was impeccable. Especially with my vast knowledge of seafood, I was gladly surprised with how well the scallops and shrimps were cooked. The presentation of the food was overall wonderful and especially with the sweet and sour mango shrimp, because that specific presentation gave a topic for the table to talk about.
Very clean, beautiful inside with view of water. Service great, Manager very friendly. Salad Bar was fresh, how can you go wrong with that, make it just like you like, lots of choices. Jim Coconut shrimp wonder, my fish dinner was good too.
Service and food was great! Best Ahi tuna that I ever had!
We were at this restaurant 6 years ago for our anniversary and could not have asked for a better experience. We were disappointed upon return as our service was extremely slow. For example, from the time we ordered dessert and coffee it was another hour before we left the restaurant. The attire of the group in front of us did not seem appropriate for this type of upscale restaurant - backward baseball hats, shorts and feet up empty chairs. The food was fantastic as we were expecting but the aforementioned issues put a damper on our overall experience.
I have eaten here many times over the past few years, and this was the least pleasant experience so far. Our server was pleasant and mostly informed. My dinner companion put in their meal before I was ready, and I asked for more time. Her appetizer then came out before the waiter had even come back to take my order. I ordered swordfish off the gluten free menu, some time later they came out to tell me they were out of the swordfish. So I ordered the tenderloin which was dry and not the best I’ve ever had. They have a lovely chard caesar I enjoyed. The table we got great with a fabulous view of a double rainbow over the lake! The manager or similar came over to ask how we were enjoying the meal and I expressed some of the issues we had experienced. She basically ignored what I said that had gone wrong and said she was happy we were enjoying the meal. I would now hesitate to go back, with so many other amazing food choices in Scottsdale.
