    We went on a Saturday night and it was not busy at all which was surprising. It was an underwhelming evening. Went there to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday and everything was fine until we got our food. I ordered my filet medium rare and it came out medium WELL! Manager came over and asked how the food was and I explained that my steak was overcooked. They took my plate away and did not come back with my food for a long time. So I sat there watching my friend eat her meal. When I finally got my food, it was good. But now my friend had a chance to watch me eat! So when the dessert came, I was eating a bite of cake and pulled out a piece of parchment paper from my mouth the size of a quarter that they had left in the cake. The server came by to see how the dessert and I shower her the parchment paper and she shared my experience with the manager who then comped our appetizer. Maybe it was an off night,but I can't say I'll be going back anytime soon.

    What is there to say...it's The Chart House. I must say they no longer make their famos blue cheese dressing. So we will have to make it from how, from now on.

    We had reservations and were seated within 5 minutes of letting the staff know we were there. The waiter was friendly and looked after our needs. The food was excellent! The prime rib was cooked to the specifications of the persons in our party. A great experience!

    The food was great. The service was excellent. The prices were reasonable. What’s not to like. First we split a coconut crunchy shrimp. (You have got to try this!). Then I ordered swordfish with a Caesar salad and sizzling mushrooms. My wife ordered the Chart Your Course special with the the 10 ounce prime rib (it looked bigger than that) sides, salad and mini lava cake dessert. There was nothing mini about the lava cake. We split it. We were served by Madeline. She was friendly yet professional. I love serve staff that know how to pace a meal. It helps create an evening of wonderful food and enjoyable conversation.

    One of our favorite spots in the Valley. Situated on the lake and with all the wood trim, we feel like we're visiting San Diego! The food is always good and our server Amanda was cheerful and extremely attentive.

    I was recently able to take my younger daughter here for her Daddy/Daughter 13th B-Day and it was a repeat visit to my older daughter's celebration. We had an absolute blast, and she was SO shocked that they knew it was her birthday when we walked in and when our server (Brian) came to the table. My daughter had the salmon and loved it, and I got the filet which was cooked perfectly. The entire staff made her feel so special, and the pictures we were able to take at our view table were stunning. I would highly recommend the Chart House for a calmer upscale meal than in the surrounding area restaurants. Most others are so loud and crowded, so it was perfect to not have all of the busyness. We will definitely be back!

    We went to the Chart House for our anniversary dinner, it certainly did not disappoint! Brian took very good care of us, the ambiance was great and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass and view of the water.
