Waited for a porch table and it was great. The quality of the food was top notch. Prices reflect the quantity as well and the quality. I eat here every time I come to Savannah!
We've eaten at this Chart House in Savannah on many occasions over the past 25 years. We love to go there for special occasions or "just because" if we need a nice evening out. This particular time we were celebrating our daughter's birthday. Our meals have always been outstanding; however, I am sorry to say this time the Chart House did disappoint. My daughter and I ordered the filet, which was perfect. My husband and another guest ordered the prime rib. It was a very thin cut of meat, very fatty and not at all like what we have been served previously in this restaurant. My husband ordered the larger cut and it was no different from the guest who ordered a smaller cut. When it arrived at the table, I was disappointed, as was my husband. Our service was outstanding, as always. Unfortunately, this trip left a bad taste in our mouth. We will return, but to spend around $225 for a meal and be disappointed in the quality is disheartening.

Set up was nice. Good environment and pretty good service. Elegant. As far as the food go it was disappointing. Order the best steak supposedly on the menu. It had so much fat in it and wasn’t cooked to my desire. I’m a well done type of guy and it came out basically raw in the inside. Mash potatoes was kind of hard. But the drinks were delicious lol. But not worth the price for the food.
Happy Hour was a fantastic deal. Great apps and drink prices. Spinach and artichoke dip was solid. Hummus was also good, but two of the choices in the trio were a bit spicy (not bad, just unexpected and one of us doesn't do spicy). Dinner was also good. I had shrimp and scallops. A little too sweet and the shrimp were a little tough...I'd shy away from that option. However, the corn salad that came with it was VERY VERY good. My aunt had King Salmon, which was excellent. Her side had a bit too much fennel and barley though, so opt for a more traditional side there and you'll be good.
My girlfriend and I went here to eat before our prom. Other then the server forgetting to bring bread and refill drinks, the meal was perfect.

We celebrated our 49th anniversary with Chart House. Only second time to Chart House. First time was our 25th anniversary in Hawaii.
Our FAVORITE restaurant in Savannah! Always perfect! The manager Eric is a great asset and our server, Wyatt was wonderful! This is our “go to” place in Savannah! Perfect steaks, delicious shrimp, and the crab stuffed flounder is superb!
The people and the food were wonderful! The server, however, made a number of slip-ups (e.g. cleared table next to us then turned to us with armload of dishes and asked us to pass her our appetizer plates...). We assume it was an aberration, though, and will certainly go back next time we are in Savannah.
The service here is horrible! We had a reservation, yet had to wait about 20-30 minutes for a table. We were only seated after we got up and asked about the three empty tables we saw outside. The hostesses all seemed clueless. Then, we waited for over an hour for our food to arrive! We didn’t even order appetizers so there should have been no delay. The waiter made a few excuses about how busy they were that night (although I saw at least 2 other tables that were seated a long time after we were get their entrees before us). I was at least hoping the food would make up for the wait, but it didn’t. It was mediocre at best. The waiter knew we were not happy at the end of our meal and offered to “buy us dessert” but we declined because we didn’t want to be there another hour waiting on dessert to arrive! We are locals and this is the first time we have eaten at The Chart House. We will never be back!

When we arrived for our 7:00 PM reservation, we discovered that it had been given to someone else with the same last name. The receptionist admitted that she had erred by not checking the first name of the other party. We then had to wait a while for a table. After we were seated, the manager visited our table and expressed her apologies for the reservation error. Our server, Brian, was good and frequently checked on us as we dined. He did, however, neglect to bring bread to our table and we had to ask for it. We dine fairly often at Chart House Jacksonville, FL, and infrequently at Chart House Savannah. Based on this experience, our visits to Chart House Savannah will become even less frequent.
Wife’s fish was undercooked. After being corrected it was very good. Manager offered desserts or after dinner drinks free of charge because of the issue.
Fried green tomatoes, spinach bacon salad, swordfish, and prime rib are all awesome! Sorry I tried to load more pics, but it wouldn’t let me!
On vacation and found this gem right on the river. The view on the river was amazing with a trumpet player on the corner below. Everything from start to finish was wonderful! The waitstaff (Mark) was super friendly and helpful. If you like mojitos, try the mojito flight, which was fun and tasty. We started with the ahi tacos and coconut shrimp. Both had great presentation and the coconut shrimp has 3 dipping sauces. For entrees, my husband had the bourbon shrimp and scallops, which were spot on with flavor. I had the blacked Mahi with avocado topping, sticky mango rice and bacon wrapped asparagus. I have to say it was one of the best all-around meals I have ever had and it didn’t break the bank. If I am ever back in Savannah, this will be my first meal stop.

Food continues to be quite good and creative. Service has kept going from great to just okay to close to dismal at this point. That is horribly disappointing. I am a great cook and enjoy making meals of all types of cuisine at home every night. When I go out, I am looking for an overall fantastic experience - food-wise and for sure also in terms of atmosphere and service. I don't know what's happened with the management of this Chart House, but in the past couple of years it has not been coming up to the old wonderful standards and we are now talking about trying to find elsewhere to eat in Savannah. Sad. Having said that, yes, the food was still good: nice appetizer with melon and Italian ham and cheese, fabulous grilled salmon with herbed lemon sauce, really good spiced tuna (though the accompanying rice did not hold a candle to the incredible furiyake of the past) and, well, I sure hope they find their way again. Still many things to recommend this place, but not the haven it was for so very many years.

Server had zero personality. Dessert was supposed to be “molten lava”, but was more like a brownie. Manager comped that, but still...
Food and service was excellent! However, Chart House has an unfortunate policy of leaving customer satisfaction at the door once the guest leaves. We leave a bag of souvenirs and they found them and placed them in the office. When I called they said they had them and I was delighted. When I explained I lived in Maryland I was told the company policy was never to mail anything back that was left even if the guest was willing to pay for it. As a result I just spent $42 to repurchase the items and have them shipped. I think CH's corporate attitude sucks and I'll never go again and will spread the word. I have worked in restaurants for 30 years and just can't believe the policy.
This was our first trip to Chart House Savannah. We were VERY pleased with the Food, Table and overall Experience. He had a bad experience at another $$ restaurant nearby. This was a success in our minds and we will be back. My wife and I shared a 10oz Prime Rib... tender and delicious.

A very good Easter meal. Service was fast, friendly and accurate. The food was good for the appearance, smell and taste. Not cheap but worth it for the high end night.

Had trash in my salad. A lid and receipt tossed in my salad. The manager didn’t do much and General Manager didn’t seem overly concerned. I have taken tons of groups there for years. I will never return. Bad service!!!
Easter Sunday, amazed that a bar ran out of Bellini mix. Service was not great and we were early. Tuna was over cooked and didn’t taste fresh. Stick to sandwich’s or salads and happy hour.Decor inside really needs an update.
Very disappointed in the service and the food was terrible. My companion ordered a pan seared fish entrée that was so crusted the fish had to be scraped off. For the price of this meal I had a much better meal at a dive bar the next day on Tybee Island. This experience was atrocious.
I was very happy with the meal itself, and our server. Once we got seated, everything was great, as always. I was disappointed with the reservation process. We had a reservation for 6:30 on Saturday, March 31st, and we were in line at the host stand at 6:23. We had requested a patio table because our two kids, ages 4 and 5, love to watch the boats. The reservation even had a spot online for us to request a patio table. The couple in front of us was seated at the last outside table, which was extremely frustrating. I was then told that the patio was first come first serve. Do not even bother allowing people to request patio tables if you’re not going to even try to accommodate the request! Once we finally got to a table, everything was wonderful, as always!

Waited 20 min before the waitress even acknowlegded us,after another waitress made her aware of us.Another 20 min before she took our order or brought our drinks.After another 30 min got our food which was lukewarm and had failed to bring 1 of the salads ordered. 2 other tables got their food long before us and came after us. We had ordered shrimp and prime rib.After expressing our disappointment to the management, they seemed oblivious, finally the waitress removed the charge for the cool prime rib and baked potato. It will be our last time dining here. In the past it had been a great place to go, and not our first visit,but not again.They need to get their act together. Considering their prices, they should be better on top of things.

Wonderful riverside view on the veranda, Mark was an excellent waiter, food prepared well and overall service from everyone was outstanding. Highly recommend!!
Spring Break first night
They were out of a lot of food. Our server was new, service slow. Not the experience we have had at other Chart House’s around the country. Need to step up the service. Many other options in Savannah.
we had a reservation for 7:45, were finally seated at 8:30 at a table directly in front of the open kitchen door. needless to say, it was very busy and loud around our table. the food was at best okay, the only highlight was Brian our server. He tried to do his best, yet it took another 45 minutes before we finally had all our drinks and a basket of bread. 30 minutes after we ordered our main course, I was told that they ran out of my choice of dinner. Which was the same time that everyone else at our table was served their dinner....
