Awesome as always. Love the chart House
Excellent service! Our server JP took the time to talk us through the wine list and menu with recommendations and seasonal features. The food was delicious and the view stunning!
We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately even though our entire party had not yet arrived. The view from the elevated booth was spectacular and the service was excellent. We all ordered different items - Sea Bass, chef specialty Salmon, lobster and the special Sea Bass dish. The burrata and melon appetizer was excellent.
Impeccable service!! Great view. Delicious food and we really enjoyed the flight of mojitos! Dessert was also decadent!!
We celebrated 2 birthdays. Great service from Matthew!! Pomogrant martini was amazing. 4 people 4 different dinners - salmon, sea bass, Filet Mignon, crab stuffed shrimp. Completely satisfied. We had complimentary mud pie for the birthdays and ordered a lava cake. Would duplicate it all. Cheers!
Been coming here for a while
Now and we love it
From the personalize menu to the great filet mignon, our service was amazing!
Great views of both Mt Hood and Mt St Helens, Willamette River from the dining room. Service was attentive and friendly. We ordered a variety from the dinner menu, Swordfish, King Crab, Shrimp, Soup, Salad and Steak. All were very good and it was a pleasant dining experience with the family.
Jody was our server and helped make celebrating my parents’ 50th anniversary very enjoyable!!! Thank you!!
Friendly staff and the food was excellent! You can’t be the view!
Chart House Portland is consistently tops. We only dine for lunch, as the dinner menu is a bit pricey for our budgets. The lunch menu is not large, but it is varied, using quality ingredients. Because I have food issues, they bend over backwards to oblige. The price per person is typically around $20 per person w/o wine or cocktails.
Haven’t been to Chart House in at least 7-8 years, took my elderly friend there for lunch wonderful sceenerly and delicious food!
We loved it!
We’ll be back!
Sincerely ,
Ann Gunnin
The staff were exceptional. Our wait staff knew everything about the menu and was able to answer all questions. Overall a very nice restaurant for its ambience and dinner
We went to the Chart House for our 20th wedding anniversary. The corner window table was perfect. View of PDX amazing and our waiter was great. The food looked better than it tasted. It was either over salted or underseasoned. If you want the views go the Chart House if you want that level of dining and fantastic tasting food, we have experienced better in the PDX Metro area.
Always dependable. Great view, wonderful ambiance for business or pleasure! Service is exceptional and the food never disappoints. Was with a particularly picky group tonight and every request was met! A little pricey but I always feel good about the whole experience. Food quality is spot on, especially for Portland!
Best view in town, great good and our waitstaff did a great job.
All the personal were terrific. Food was just ok especially at the price point. No offer of an anniversary dessert even tho everyone knew it since we were congratulated numerous times. Bar was closed for a private event so when we arrived 45 early to have a beverage we were turned away. Had to go to Hillsdale pub for half hour. We’ll be back, but this was not the best experience. Our server Jodie was terrific and was very accommodating. Thanks.
Very nice!.. The view was exquisite, the food was yummy, the wait-staff was very attentive. It is what a restaurant should aspire to be.. in a word, it was "exquisite".
-Excellent, attentive service; very good food. Lava cake is so worth the wait, it's delicious and so festive.
We really enjoyed our server. He was pleasant, attentive but not imposing, and even a little entertaining. Our meals were prepared to perfection. Thanks for a nice evening.
This was our first visit to the Chart House but will not be the last. The food was fantastic and the service even better. Thanks JP for making our Anniversary dinner a little more special.
Fabulous food and friendly servers. We had a lovely birthday celebration.
Looking forward to returning
The staff did a great job of making my sister-in-law’s 70th birthday special. She lives in Alaska and we wanted to make the celebration as nice as possible. We were not disappointed. She loved her dinner, the view, and the whole experience. Thank you, Chart House!
The view is fantastic. The service is great. Our appetizer was the crab cake and it was great.. Our entree was Mahi-Mahi and it was a bit overcooked. If we order fish again we will have it sautéed. We will go back. In general it's good restaurant.
waited 30 min just for bread and drinks, and the restaurant was basically empty. Food was mediocre, overpriced. waitress ignored guests, overall waste of money. 0 stars. pick any other steak house in Portland.
We visited this restaurant from Chicago. Clearly the main attraction is a fantastic view of Portland and the Willamette River from an elevated vantage point. The food was very good, my steak (ordered rare) was a little overcooked. Server was very attentive. An appetizer that consisted of shrimp, crab, mango and avacado with a remoulade was beautifully prepared and very tasty. The wine list was a little pricey. Consider for romantic setting, great view, and very good dining.
Very special date :)
Our service was truly exceptional!!!!
We were very pleased with our experience, especially our server Julie. She made us feel right at home. There was no rush to get us out to free up the table, and we appreciate it. The food was everything we expected and more. Great evening!
Once again, we had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday. We appreciate being able to reserve two tables; one for cards and the other for dining.
I don’t recall the name of our server (young, slender, shaved head), however, he was very attentive, friendly and efficient. Please express our appreciation.
We look forward to our next visit.
Thank you,
Paula Jones
Food is always excellent and service is the best in town
We were at the Chart House for Easter and as expected it was crowded and noisier than normal. As a result, the service was only good (not exceptional) and the food reflected this as well - it was not very hot when served. As is usual with the Chart House, dessert was very good, but we waited over 20 minutes to receive them. The view was excellent as normal and all in all they took good care of us. Could there be improvement - yes, of course, but this still fit our purpose.
All aspects of our Easter brunch were perfect. Seating, service, food and value.
Always a good place to go for a special occasion
We really enjoyed our server. She was professional, friendly, attentive but not a nuisance, and visited with us a little. Overall she deserves an “A”. The food was prepared to perfection. We will be back soon!
Our dinner at Chart House was wonderful. Our server Julie was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and, of course, the view spectacular.
Service was slow, food was good and view as usual beautiful it was a clear evening! Disappointed in service the servers and food runners could use refresher course .
The food was great but our waiter Jason really made the evening special with his personable and professional performance.
Best service, excellent food and fabulous view of the river!!
Lovely evening. Enjoyed the salmon. Calamari was the best!
