Chart House Restaurant - Portland Ratings and Reviews
We had a table with a great view and the food was well prepared. The only thing that was a little off was our server - she was either super busy or having an off night. After we finished our first beverage, she did not come back to see if we wanted another with our meal. She also did not return during our meal to check on us. All in all, it was good, but I hope to have a better server situation next time.
Food and service were excellent. Nice wine list. Shared the Farmer's Salad and mushrooms and each had a shrimp dish. Birthday so gave my partner a little ice cream cake with candle and decaf coffee. Did not have decaf espresso would have been good. Tables nicely arranged and the best view in Portland. Highly recommend.
The crab/mango/avocado entrée was great! The lobster bisque sensational! The crab louie was adequate - not a typical crab louie with lots of crab, olives and tomatoes. This one was mostly salad greens. My friend's club sandwich was a bit dry. However, the restaurant itself is quite nice, the service good and with a terrific view.
My wife and I went to the Chart House for our 33rd anniversary dinner, meal and service were top notch. Brittany was our waitress, and is very knowledgeable of the menu, and she kindly explained all things of interest. The ménage (trio) soup was awesome. I had the fillet mignon that was cooked perfectly, while my wife had the swordfish and spatzle. We shared our meal with each other while enjoying a beautiful view. I will recommend this place to family and friends.
We don’t regularly spend larger amounts on dinner out and we tend to be creatures of habit with our busy lifestyle. But on this special landmark 21st birthday occasion for our son, I chose Chart House for a late dinner, anything goes. It was one of the best meals we have had in a long time, appetizer to dessert. Aside from sitting at our table for 15-20 minutes before someone served us, the evening and meal were excellent and we will definitely dine there again before long.
The Chart House provided a pleasant experience with excellent service and selection. The staff was VERY attentive and our special occasion was recognized by everyone that greeted us.
I will definitely return to the Chart House for an evening with my wife. The views are very nice.
After reviewing entrees for lunch which were priced around $20 each, we chose to order the special which was mahi mahi figuring that it would be similarly priced. We were disappointed to find that the specials were double in price at $39 each. I feel this was disingenuous and that the server should have advised us of the cost. Having a business lunch totaling $100 is absurd for two people especially when no alcoholic drinks were ordered.
