Changed Menu Horrible
Glasses smell like old dish water
18oz steak was not flavored just to be replaced with dried out salmon.
Paid $160 - What a joke!!!
Please don't think in life just because you pay more that it will mean you will receive more (Quailty). #Food for thought!!#

We chose to eat at one of the low tables in the bar instead of a standard dining table, and once again had LAUREN as our server there. She goes out of her way to make your experience even better than expected.

Let's Start with our server had a hand brace, which made his service slower due to his inability to carry multiple items. This normally would not bother me except for the fact that it slowed him down drastically. Appearing to only have three tables (i may be wrong) this was frustrating. Example. We saw him with or bottle of wine. He placed it ten feet from us and then went back to the kitchen and got coffee for a different table. then proceeded with our wine. This wouldn't be bad except for two of us already had our first drinks while the two wives were waiting go for theirs. We also had to wait to drink ours so we could toast.
Our appetizer and soups came out promptly and hot. The calamari was delicious. The lobster bisque on the other hand. The flavor was perfect but the lobster was rubbery. Not what I would expect to get from your restaurant.
Now to our meals. The mahi was plain without the sauce. Cooked perfectly tho. The prime rib was also delicious but the mushrooms were very plain. Unlike the chart house in Baltimore. My wife got shrimp and scallops that were also very good. Lastly, I got a rare filet which was a degree above being cold. I understand it's rare but it shouldn't be cold. I may be wrong but I chalk this up to our server being weeded and temporarily disabled. Another server had to bring out our food and it was minutes before our server checked on us.

In closing. I do enjoy the restaurant but had more than a few things wrong with this last visit.

So disappointing and very sad that this restaurant is not what it used to be. We used to love coming here. The restaurant is still very pretty, but the lack of customer service, food and feeling you don't matter is disturbing. Suffice to say, we will not be returning. The host was very rude in visiting all tables but ours. Not very professional.

The most outstanding characteristic of this restaurant is the view. It is right on the Delaware river, with the huge battleship USS New Jersey in clear few on the opposite shore. It is beautiful and romantic.

The food was good, but could have been better with more local choices, like black seabass, tautog or some of the northern fish now in season like cod or haddock.

One thing was not good at all...the background music. It seemed to be a mix of mid-level hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's...not top ten hits either. The music did not fit the location at all and detracted from the atmosphere.

The good news is that can be easily fixed.

Great view, very romantic. Food was amazing and not too expensive! Drinks were fun, they have fun shareable drinks for two. Seafood was delicious. My first time trying the prime rib and it was amazing. Would definitely come back, and refer a friend!
