It was wonderful!
Always tasty food ,good service and great ambience.
Fantastic!! Perfectly prepared seafood entrees. Nice portion sizes, worth the price.
Our waitress, Katelyn was excellent! Can't say enough about how down to earth she was and how comfortable she made us feel. Prompt, courteous, professional, always smiling and truly excited for us to have a great meal and enjoy our time there.
Complimentary valet was a nice bonus. Oh, and the view, incredible!
We will be back.
I lived 7 years on the west coast near the ocean. Coastal seafood can't be beat. Chart House is one of the few in Cincinnati that comes close. Everyone was happy with their meal. Lobster tail, stuffed Flounder, and salmon, all wonderful. The Lobster Bisque soup, one of the best in the area. The Ahi appetizer was wonderful.
Destiny, our server was very helpful, very kind, and very prompt. It was a pleasure having her taking care of us. Servers greeted us from the moment we stepped in house.
The lighting was low enough to set a comfortable ambiance without being so dark one would struggle to read the menu. Room temperature would have stood to be a few degrees warmer, but that is my personal preference.
It was the perfect romantic setting for a post-Valentine’s Day date. Beautiful scenic view of the Ohio River. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was great. Just an overall great place to enjoy a meal.
We were here for Valentines Day. Our reservation was for nine, so finding out that the Cedar Plank Salmon was no longer available was not a big surprise. Instead, we both chose the Spiced Ahi with the furikake rice, wasabi cream & ginger soy. It also came with steamed carrots and broccoli. The Chart House Restaurant is highly regarded for it's seafood. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. I've never had Ahi so flavorful, fresh and tender! The service was very good. The view of the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati was excellent. We had a very good experience. We highly recommend The Chart House Restaurant.
Food was very good. Went there for Valentine's Day, so it was packed. Our server was slow, chatty and everything dragged on. When it was finally time to go, we missed our food boxes because the server placed them on the seat out of view.
Everything was great and Rachael was great as well. Me and my fiend enjoyed the experience because of our waitress. She makes us feel so welcomed and she knowledgeable about the menu.
It was Valentines Day. It was crowded and noisy and the staff was working to the max. I believe that the quality of the food suffered because of this. I’m reluctant to go back. I could’ve done just as well at Bonefish or Mitchell’s for half the cost.
The appetizer crab cake could be much better for The price. It looked like someone just slapped it together and smeared it all over the plate, not chef valuable at all, bad first presentation
Good food, good selection (seafood, steaks, and prime rib), and great view of the city of Cincinnati. Service is attentive and, thankfully, the background music is there but not obtrusive.
One of the few places where the food is not cheap, but worth every dollar. Staff is friendly and keeps a clean table.
The service at the bar and table is out standing. Truly enhances the entire experience at a beautiful location.
A little bit noisy for me, we were inside in February. Nothing you can do about this, just people having fun.
The Chart House offers the best dining views in Cincinnati. The food is average to good, I think most feel they need to report it "delicious' because of the price, not the taste. Avocado, shrimp appetizer bland at best. Mahi blackened, and mushy. An hour for food. 20 minutes for coffee to arrive after dinner, 15 more minutes waiting before we cancelled desert and ask for our tab. 10 more before the ASM brought a scoop of ice cream to tell us desert was almost coming out. We stood and walked to the front receptionist telling her we would meet her there for the tab. Best advice, have the salad bar skip, the entrees and serve yourself while enjoying the view.
Never cheap but always a delight. Don't miss the clam chowder or key lime pie ... they don't get any better than at Chart House.
An absolutely wonderful dinner. Our waitress Rachel was great. We eat oiut often and this place is the best!!!!
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here very much! Everything was perfect!
Food was good, staff was awesome.
Good, but no Wow factors. I had checked out the menu online and was so excited the had brought back the Beef Carpaccio. We had this a long time ago here, and they took it off the menu. I also called to make sure it wasn't a mistake on the online menu, and they said "Yes", we are serving it. When we went Friday night to celebrate my Husbands' Birthday, they told us that it was no longer on the menu. I told him we just checked the menu online and also called. The only response was, well the menu changed. Also, the only white fish was Red Snapper, of which I ordered, and it was very good. Service was good, view was good. They just need to up their menu with some more exciting menu items.
Perfect as usual, a favorite spot for special occassions.
We had reservations for 4:00 Restaurant opens at 4:30. Went to bar for drinks, but happy hour prices start at 4:30. Nice bartender gave us the happy hour menu, but we were charged regular prices. Waitress was good, but we said we could not do dessert because we were going to a play. Brought us a complimentary bday dessert. Very nice, but it was ice cream, so it melted while we attended the play. Took a bit to get our check, rush to get to Aronoff. Food was good!
Overall it was a bad experience. Went to celebrate a birthday with my sisters. Seated on time, ordered drinks, declined appetizers, then ordered our entrees. After 45 minutes the female manager advised my sister that her entree was not available & she had to tell other customers the same thing. Why did this take 45 minutes to realize you didn't have it? I truly believe or order was passed over by the kitchen staff. We watched other tables order after us & have their food before the female manager approached our table. She also wasn't very friendly. There was a male manager that did come to speak with us & he was ver personable. I think she needs some retraining. How does a nice restaurant not have items available on Saturday evening when it was fairly early. Although her entree ended up being free it made for a disappointing evening. Dessert was also offered & we ordered apple berry crisp. There was nothing crispy on the top, the apples were not done. Our waiter did the best he could & kept apologizing but the blame comes on the management & who ever does the ordering.
Good food (among the better seafood options in Cincinnati), however service is slow and inattentive.
The food was as we expected, above average. One of the managers, Eric Wines, made an appearance at our table to ensure everything was meeting our approval. He even knew what kind of top shelf bourbon was in my glass which told me he had more than a passing interest in our satisfaction. Will (William), our server was courteous, attentive and spot on with every aspect of our dining experience! The evening was great!
Always enjoy great food and atmosphere! It is our go to restaurant for special event dining.
The chart house has become my new favorite restaurant! Spinach salad was excellent. The snapper with lemon butter and chocolate lava cake for dessert! Yum -and the view is spectacular 😊
King crab was not the best in spite of the high price.
