We celebrated a birthday. Waiter was very helpful with menu choices and provided great service

We went there for my daughter's birthday. The food was wonderful. Everyone had a good time.

Celebrated our 10 Year Anniversary Dinner and it was our first time trying out the restaurant. It was fantastic! Food, Service and ambiance - all of the above. Perfect!!

Delicious meal with a lovely view of the riverfront! We will definitely return.

It was our marriage anniversary and we were greeted and wished happy anniversary on arrival with custom menus. Staff was wonderful and catered to our every ask. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. View is beautiful on the river. We will dine again.

had always wanted to try the Chart House and were thrilled we finally got to try the location on the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky. What a wonderful dinning experience. We got river front seating with a wonderful view of Downtown Cincinnati, Ohio accross the river. It was beautiful as the lights came up and darkness fell.
The service was impeccable and extremely attentive. The food was all perfect and of the highest standards. We could have not ask for any better experience. We were celebrating our daughter's engagement to be married.
We started off with the Wicked Tuna and Kim Chee Calamari for appetizers which were both to die for! Then for the entrees; I had the Mahi Mahi and side salad bar, my wife had the Coconut Crunchy Shrimp with side salad bar, while my daughter had the Salmon with Herb Crusted Topping and our future son-in-law had the New York Strip, the 14oz selection with added Crabcake. Everything was prepared perfectly and each item's presentation was a work of art.
We had an exquisite evening and meal, thanks to the Chart House of Newport, Kentucky! Thank you.

Food was awesome as was the service. We got seated fast (on a holiday) and our food arrived quickly. I highly recommend Chart House for a special evening dinner out.

We were very disappointed with Thanksgiving dinner ... one item on the menu and they couldn’t get it right. It was a small pile of white and dark meat shreds, dry dressing, cold mashed potatoes and some creamed spinach. Pie was still frozen. Entire plate was cold, waitress had to tell us twice dinner was just about ready; a 30 minute wait at 4:30pm. We couldn’t find the manager or we would’ve told him; waitresses just shrugged her shoulders... I guess our $100 bill for two wasn’t enough to bother about. I understand it’s a steakhouse but don’t advertise for a holiday meal if you’re not going to give it any effort.

One of our favorite restaurants and we go often. Sometimes for diner other times for happy hour when we just need som.ething light. Its a great value and the ambiance with the river view is always enjoyed

Dinner was wonderful however the pumpkin pie dessert tasted like it came straight from the Publix freezer. Our server was helpful, however he was stretched too thin for such a busy crowd (Thanksgiving). We had reservations but still had to wait almost 45 minutes past reservation time to be seated.

The weather outside was the only negative to our overall experience.
From the complimentary valet parking, to a table at the window, to drink and food specials.......
Service was exceptional considering a full-house for Thanksgiving.

Never go here for Thanksgiving. Although I ordered off the menu the other 2 diners ordered the Thanksgiving meal
Both said the turkey was terrible the creamed spinach was like a soup. While plates of food went by to other tables their servings where much more significant than theirs. For 31 bucks a pop no bread was even offered. We frequent Chart House often but my husband was so disappointed he said he will never go back.

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience for our 25th Wedding Anniversary! To the manager Matthew, to our server team Jen and Jeff, thank you for a wonderful start to a wonderful evening. Our table was quiet and cozy, with a fantastic view of the city and river. The food service was perfect, everything prepared as requested. And they bought the desert for us! But what really put it over the top was looking at our menus that had been personalized with an anniversary greeting to us. I may be simple, but I’d never seen that before. My wife thought it was a very nice personal touch. I agree. They even wrapped them in a bow so we could take them home with us. Everyone there made it a wonderful dining experience! Thank you!!

The food and service were great. Our table, however, not so much. Two people in a 6 person booth....not a good setting at all. First time that’s happened. Will return, however, as the other times the experiences have been nothing but top notch.

Dan did a great job and suggested a Maahai dish I was not considering. It was great as well as the other 2 dishes ordered.

First time at this chart house and I was very dissatisfied with my dinner order. I had the strip steak and sent it back twice. On the third time I gave up and just didn’t eat it. The manager, Mr. Wines, offered an apology. Nothing more. I wouldn’t have accepted a complaint but to offer nothing was unacceptable. Not good customer service. Supposed to go back for Thanksgiving dinner and wondering if I should. Friends were surprised at the lack of friendliness by the manager. Server was great.
I just think when you pay as much money as we did, it should have been more than an apology. Not sure I would have accepted anything but to not offer anything was poor customer service. Manager was dismissive and we did not feel valued.

Dan was a great server and they personalized a menu for our anniversary. Always been a great place for us. The food was really good and great view.

The service we got from Chris was outstanding. For that reason alone we would go back. The filet was a bit strange. Not quite up to par. Not bad by any means, but not great either.

Chart House used to be one of our favorites. We knew we could count on great food, service and location. Unfortunately, what we have come to expect has not been the case in our recent visits. This last visit was especially disappointing. I was excitedly looking forward to my favorite appetizer, coconut shrimp! When it arrived at the table, I could immediately tell they were extremely undercooked and NOT deveined. Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting! Not only should the kitchen staff have noticed, our waitress should have too. The manager came by and apologized, said he coached the kitchen and stated that we would not be charged for the shrimp... gee, Thanks?! Appreciate not being charged for an appetizer that we didn't / wouldn't eat due to the lower digestive tract being in tact. UGH! We were not even offered a replacement appetizer. The salad bar was good as usual, Thank Goodness. The prime rib was cold and hard on the outer pieces as though it had been cut prior to our ordering it and vegetables lukewarm. Extremely disappointing this time around. Sad that the bread and salad are the highlight of your dinner.

Great view of the river and downtown Cincinnati. Service was great. Steaks very good. Sides were cold. Overall it was a very good experience. Go for the view.

Everything tasted amazing and the desserts brought out for my birthday were delicious and much appreciated.

I hadn't been here in several years and kind of "forgot" how good it was. Had friends coming from out of town and needed a last minute reservation and choose Chart House when the other fine dining options downtown were not available. Everything we had was high quality and well prepared. Will be back soon.

The menu for Landry members for November restaurant week was excellent; really love the salad.

Great food - the clamari was fantastic - great décor; great service. Can't wait to get back

This was disappointing. We have been regulars at the Chart House, and many of the staff know us. We are also Landry Select Club members. The facility is great, the best of Landry seafood restaurants in the region.

Our server Saturday night was horrible. He removed things from the table without asking. It is nice when they are pro-active and ask, but ask, just do not do.

My wife's first entree was wrong, probably because the server did not get it right. The second one took a long time, and was dry. At that point she was not willing to wait for a third try. I had one of the specials, and it was far from special. Not worth the few extra dollars. Chart House charges a premium price, and usually it was worth it, this night it was night. The unfortunate part, it was out anniversary.
