We have semi-private areas of the restaurant that easily accommodate groups of 15 to 50. All areas of the restaurant have fabulous views of the Monterey Bay! Available during the day for parties of 50 to 140 guests until 4:00pm Sunday thru Friday & until 3:30pm Saturdays & Sundays. The restaurant is available with limited availability for complete buy-outs.

We have a small private lot (complimentary) across the street from the restaurant for our guests. In addition, there is on-street parking available (metered) at the cost of $1.50 per hour. After 8:00pm street parking is complimentary. Diagonally across from the restaurant (north) there is a public lot with fluctuating rates.

It was our 54 anniversary, our 50th was at the sardine factory, but we always come back to the prime rib and lobster and no one match your happy hour, prices, quality of the tapas and great drinks
Chart House is truly a dinning experience 5 star
Did I mention we’ve been coming to the Chart House for the last 20 yrs, we have.

Brought my Canadian friends here for a special dinner and they love it as much as we do. They ran out of the fish for the Special of the Day but gave us the option to substitute another kind of fish. Amazingly it turned out so tasty. We always have a great experience with this Chart House.

Super-interesting cocktails. Great service and wonderful view, even at night. Great selection of fish dishes; however, the food is cooked more heavy-handed than the fish really should be.

We were very disappointed overall. This was a much looked forward to get away and nice dinner for us. The prime rib was cooked more than what my husband requested and was too dry. He left 1/2 of it behind-not even worth taking home and it was a larger cut. My salmon was very tasty, as was the bread. The mud bottom pie, my all time favorite, was also so disappointing! I got a smaller portion and there was hardly any of the cookie crust or fudge on top. Very different from what I was used to years ago. There was a dollop of whipped cream on the side and chopped peanuts ( what happened to the slivered almonds?) sprinkled all over with chocolate syrup (Hershey’s?) drizzled decoratively about the serving plate. I also left 1/2 of the ice cream since that was what it really mostly was- not much of the pie/fudge part. My husband got the cream brûlée and enjoyed it. The salad bar was very nice. We heard another waiter ask to check the prime rib for his table to make sure it was what they had requested. I wish ours had done that when it was served. We didn’t say anything to our waiter since we’ve heard many stories about people sending food back. We don’t often go to restaurants quite this expensive and loved it when we last went on our 30th anniversary some years ago-which is why it was so disappointing for me this time.

Great reception, great atmosphere, from the hostess to waitress, everything was perfect. Would have liked more menu choices, but overall, wonderful!!!

EXCELLENT !! My family has been going here for years never a bad experience. My son is grown now and he takes his girlfriend here for special occasions . Excellent salad bar!!! Prime rib was served to us exactly the way each one of us ordered. Waitress was excellent drinks were kept full always. We made a reservation for a specific time and we were sat as soon as we arrived. Order the lava cake when you place your order it takes that long for them to make. If you like chocolate like I do this is the most delicious dessert you will ever have!!! Thank you Chart House!!! Will be back in a few weeks!!

The only good portion of our dinner was ;
Sautéed Mushrooms ,Coffee and Desert

My $39 NY was terrible! At best it was room temperature, the Garlic mash potatoes was the same

The restaurant opened at 5:00 and we were seated by 5:10, at 6:00 our waitress informed us she was going on a dinner break and another waitress would take care of us, strange!

$150 dinner for two, we live on the peninsula and will never return to this restaurant .

mike the manager visited our table and was very courteous, and ask how was our meal wase {fantastic}. We sat at one of the small tables, which was just right for two{we are not very large proportioned}. Our server, Ryan, was efficient and very attentive,

We love the Chart House in Monterey - our go-to special occasion because of the oceanfront window seating - love the views, sea otters, seals, birds, and an occasional whale! We have been there three or four times, including for our first two Valentine Day celebrations - very romantic! The food and service are excellent - we loved our server, Brittany, she did an excellent job of taking care of us without being obtrusive. My ahi steak was cooked to perfection as was my fiancé's filet mignon. The chopped salad and hummus appetizers were delicious - love the plantains! The sizzling mushrooms were a perfect compliment to both of our dinners, and the strawberry cheesecake was so delicious and very shareable:) We will be back again and again!

Unfortunately, I cannot give a good review this time. I have been dining at this establishment for many years without any problems. But, on this evening I was somewhat disappointed. I had made my reservation several weeks in advance. I called shortly after making the reservation to see if I could add another couple to our table and was told not at the time I had reserved. I called again just a few days before our reservation to see one more time if we could have a couple join us at our table and again was told no, not at the time we reserved. When we arrived our party of four was seated at a table for six! We could have had our friends join us without any problems but no was our answer. Our waiter was very nice but didn't seem to have the experience you would expect and from what we were use to at this location. There was a foot long hair in one of our deserts (Mud Pie) that was taken care of quickly. We ended the night asking for our bill as we sat there for about 30 minutes waiting for it. Our dining on January 8th at this location was excellent. Sorry I can't give the same quality review.

We ordered drinks at the bar as we waited in the lobby, it took 25 minutes to get our drinks. Then as we were being seated, the host stopped us and had us wait in the middle of the restaurant until he could figure out if our bar tab could be transferred to our table. Embarrassing to say the least.
