absolutely amazing experience for my 30th birthday. They even personalized our menus to reflect that. The food was perfectly cooked. The server made sure our wine glasses never ran out.

Arrived an hour early for a reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Staff accomodated us and gave us a table with a wonderful view. Alyssa was a great and attentive server who made our experience even better. We will definitely come again!

Our server Love was amazing but the food fell a little short this time. The baked potato was well overdone, which is a pity because we paid extra for it. The filet was excellent, perfectly cooked. Didn’t care for the calamari appetizer that was recommended and last but not least the sautéed mushrooms we more like boiled mushrooms and we didn’t get them with all our other food…I think they got lost and were rushed after we mentioned them. They were taken off of our check, we only complained about them otherwise our dinner would have been ruined further by having to deal with complaints. We come for special occasions and drive a distance to just have dinner here.

Back in the late 90's I went to all 65 (then) Chart House restaurants. It was very different, and I do miss the "Aloha" spirit and Hawaiian attire. I know all things change. I still frequent them when close. The food is still off the 'chart' so to speak. The service is top notch. It will never be the same, but that won't stop me from going. If in Waikiki, be sure to go to the last of the original Chart House's. Joey Cabell is still there spreading the Aloha.

The food and service at Chart House is always great. Their calamari is the best anywhere as are their coconut crusted shrimp. Their cocktails are delicious and you must try their macadamia crusted mahi mahi. If you go join Landry’s and get points towards your next meal. Sitting near the window and looking at the Monterey Bay is such a treat! You can’t go wrong at this restaurant.

As usual, the food and service were excellent with a lovely view of Monterey Bay. My husband and I got the 3 course dinne-- he got the prime rib, and I got the bacon wrapped salmon. Delicious!

Phenomenal Service from Brenda (Host) who walked us to our table and was extremely personable as we were being seated, and by Julius (Server) who took care of us all night anticipating needs, providing great menu suggestions, and staying on top of everything even on a really busy holiday weekend night. Really well done across the board. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a delicious dinner, I had the Mahi and my wife had the salmon. We had the crème brûlée dessert sampler. Great service with a view. Restaurant had said on the phone that they were booked up for the evening but we got in through OpenTable with no problem.

Great view , waitress Danielle was the best ! Happy cheerful !! She gave us good advice as to portions . Food was delicious, the calamari was the best I’ve ever had ! We had a window table and nice view . Hadnt been there in years but still wonderful . Easy walk from Monterey plaza Hotel !

It had been some time since we last dined at The Chart House in Monterey and we were pleased that the Salad Bar was available. The food was tasty and well presented. Our Server Alyssa was attentive, friendly and a definite asset to your establishment.

We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Our servers, Damien and Crystal, were amazing! They anticipated every need, without hovering. They were perfectly attentive. The restaurant had prepared a special paper anniversary menu for us then tied it in a ribbon for a keepsake, above and beyond our expectations! The prime rib was literally the best I’ve ever eaten, and I consider myself to be an excellent judge. Our meal was delicious all the way around! Highly recommended!

The waitress: Stephanie was kind, however the bar server was short and never came back to check on us. The Bronze swordfish was tasty. The clam chowder was average. Did nothing for my birthday celebration, not even an acknowledgment. Wow… ok! :(

We had a wonderful meal including incredible King Crab legs and Blackened King Salmon. Our server was Cindy and she was lovely and attentive throughout our meal. Our window seating was spectacular. A great dining experience!

Beautiful place, shrimp was excellent. Husband had prime rib…just ok. Caeser salad bitter. Lava cake not worth the calories. Service was very good. We enjoyed our evening but may not return.

With an 8 pm reservation, I Waited 38 minutes to be seated as a single, when 7 couples were seated before me. Prime rib was cold, Au Jus was cold, no baked potato, mashed potato as a substitute was cold, small mud pie had no crust on bottom and was partially melted. Two double shots of Espresso to go was $16, no lid for the cup. Pinot Noir Wine was great, soup was great, waitress great. I usually eat there around 5 pm when all is fine.

We selected the Chart House for its waterfront location and availability, offering a stunning view of Monterey Bay. Despite being a corporate restaurant, it exceeded our expectations. The experience turned out to be one of our best in Monterey. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely fantastic! Our group ordered a set meal featuring clam chowder, prime rib, and their renowned Lava cake. All were met with rave reviews, particularly the prime rib, which our crew said was the best they have ever had. I opted for the seared Ahi, which turned out to be one of the most delicious preparations I've had. Prices were reasonable, drinks were enjoyable, and we're definitely looking forward to returning.
