We were disappointed in our experience here. It was Friday night and very busy, but the noise level was horrible. We were unable to carry on a conversation at our table. And the room was so dim that we had difficulty reading the menu. The spring roll appetizer was excellent, some of the best that I have ever had, even dining in Viet Nam. My entree, the coconut shrimp was good, but my companion had the grouper and it was undercooked, the vegetables were cold and the meal generally was not one expects when paying these prices. But the server was excellent and attentive. Overall, I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.
We had an absolutely wonderful table, view, and a very amazing server, she was excellent. The crab cakes were delicious, however, my main course was extremely dried out......my husband didn’t care that much for his meal either....The friends that joined us ordered a sampler Humus platter and it was good. They didn’t say much about their main entrees. My Martini with 3 blue cheese olives was delicious, as was the glass of wine I ordered. We had a lovely visit with our friends, we never felt rushed, but who ever cooked my husbands fish, and my fish, over cooked it....no we didn’t send it back and yes we left a great tip....you can’t always get it right, but the fact that our bill for the four of us was $315.....for this amount of money I would have expected a better quality on the main course......

This was our first visit to the Chart House, and we were thrilled! We went to celebrate the anniversary of my brother and sister in law. the menu came with a printed congrats on their anniversary; they got a signed card from the staff, and wrapped up menus to remember the occasion. The food was fabulous...the melange of 3 soups --gazpacho, lobster bisque and clam chowder was superb. the Ahi tuna was excellently prepared. The Hemingway swordfish was scrumptious! For dessert, they brought us a complimentary ice cream cake which was superb; we also had a very good chocolate creme brûlée and key lime pie. We sat in a window looking over the water, which was also lovely.
A few green beans, carrots, or brocolli would have rounded out an otherwise delicious Hemmingway snapper.
It looked so beige.
We have loved Chart House Melbourne for many years, and love to go for happy Hour specials and early Birds... the salad bar alone is a meal and the portions are ample... great wine list!! And it was especially nice that Bill Mitchell stopped by to wish me a Happy Birthday... Love my Landry's membership as my son- in -law always wants to visit Claim Jumper when we're in California!!...

Had to wait over 45 minutes to be seated even we had areservation. Did mention it. Did request window table they said they would give us a window table thats why we have to wait so long... still didn’t seat next to window!!
Waitress barely ever come to the table at to stop her to give us water when she did and interrupt me,when I was talking without excusing herself and end up hitting my hand by accident I hope !!! I had a better mani plate at a other restaurant somewhere else for 18$ not 33$ Don’t mind to pay if it’s excellent food !!! Overall very disappointed .
I would give ten stars for food, service, and ambiance. We love it especially for special occasions.
We were there on Saturday evening the waitress was great.....WE had a problem with the entree's the salmon was not warm at all was sent back.The Manager came over and was having the kitchen redo the entree's when the dinners came out it was the same salmon that was reheated and over cooked the potatoes were also cold by that time ....
Food is very tasty and the service we had was outstanding.
We truly enjoyed our waterfront dining experience at the Chart House. The food was delicious and the dining atmosphere was very pleasant. We plan to return to this outstanding restaurant in the near future.
Our anniversary dinner was made special by the staff and the food was delicious. The ambiance was perfect. The custom note on our menus plus the card left pleasant memories.
Wonderful time! The food is always good and for 'early bird' a great deal! Normally during early bird I have had disappointing service, attitude specifically. However, this time was the exception. Our server was wonderful! Attentive, polite and never made us feel like we needed to leave to make room for the 'after early birds'! lol
We love going to Chart House because the service is wonderful, the ambiance is great, and the food is delicious.

Service was kind of slow, especially for a Sunday evening. Some of the food was very good, but overall it was just so-so. I have had much better meals there in the past. Hopefully it is better next time.

We had an awesome time at the restaurant. The food was good and service was great as well. They made the occasion very special by adding my fiance's name on the menu wishing him a happy birthday. They wrap both menus and tie them nicely and hand them to him as souvenirs.
after waiting on our food for an hour, it came out cold. so we sent it back and left.
WORST EXPERIENCED I HAD IN THIS RESTAURANT, THE ONLY REASON I WILL GO BACK IS I HAVE GIFT CARDS.
We had an enjoyable evening at the Chart House Melbourne. We went for an early dinner. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. I would recommend.
Outstanding food and service. Our waitress Diana was awesome. Attentive, knowledgeable, fun and detail oriented. One of my top restaurant experiences.
My wife and I enjoyed our Anniversary Early Dinning meal at Chart House once again. We selected 5:15 pm reservation via Open Table so we could be there as the sunset on the river with the boats and paddle boarders coming in for the evening. The Early Bird Dinner with the outstanding salad bar included is fantastic and a good value. The selection of salmon and snapper on the Early Dining menu is great, but just as important the Chart House service is wonderful with the warm brown bread, salad bar and lava cake dessert. The Anniversary card signed by members of the staff and the specially printed menu wishing us a Happy Anniversary was wonderful touches. Being a member of the Landry Club is an added benefit for rewards and preferred seating. We enjoyed our Anniversary dinner and usually also dine at Chart House for birthday's and other very special occasions.

It was our anniversary and we picked the chart house to treat ourselves . But I’m sad to say my husband said he’s steak was the worst steak he has ever had. Our server never came by to check on us and ask how the food was until the end of our meal. We were disappointed that we spent so much money on a meal he was not satisfied with.
Salad bar is always great, but the soups were definitely lacking. Great seafood. Mashed potatoes, sadly, are a substitute for something that could be a really great accompaniment. Great view.
Got seated 30 minutes after our reservation. Restaurant was packed for New Years Eve, too many additional tables added, hard to move around the restaurant. Service was slow, it took 3 1/2 hours to eat dinner which changed some of our later plans for the evening. Appetizers and main courses were great, molten lava cake was over cooked. Bar order was incorrect.
Booked a reservation for 35th Anniversary. Table was close to bar and not ideal. It was New Year's Eve so the restaurant was crowded and noisy even at 6 pm. If you want quiet, get a table on the outside porch. We had Calamari as an appetizer. Exceptional. I had the Captain cut Prime Rib and my wife had the Mac Nut fish. Both were awesome. Dessert was the chocolate lava cake. Again exceptional. Order it when you sit down. It takes 30 minutes to prepare. Great upscale restaurant. Waiter "John" was one of the best. We will be back.
Amazing service from staff and server. Greeted my manager to check in with us and how we were doing. Top notch service every time we come in. Thank you for amazing dinner!
We make our trip down every year from the north east to celebrate New Year’s Eve and this is our 7th annual trip and we were very pleased especially with our waiter TD. The manager was outstanding as well. We really enjoyed ourselves. We will see you all again soon.
Great food and service, thanks Gerry and staff. Maybe it was just a bad evening but the indoor temperature was almost unbearable to wait through. Sweat was poring off everyone, noise level was extremely high. It was New Year's Eve so lots of people, but it was only 5pm. It was only 75 outside and had to be 85 inside.
Food was good. beautiful view and the staff was wonderful.
We had reserved a table by the window with sea view and were absolutely pleased with the table.
The service was good, but not excellent (requested a extra hot sauce and it never arrived).
The starters were all very good and also the main course.
My Grouper unfortunately came out to be very dry and the broccoli side dish was raw.
Pinot Noir very recommendable!
Nevertheless a very nice overall experience
Been to this location many times and it is definitely going downhill. They must not be properly staffed because service was awful and the food runner was so overwhelmed that our food was no longer hot when it arrived.
I've come here on separate occasions, brunch, dinner and lunch. It has always been amazing. The smoked salmon was super salty on my eggs Benedict, so that's the only negative thing I have to add to this. Will always return.
Went for Sunday brunch... menu is small for brunch but they did offer their full menu minus the prime rib ( still cooking)
