    Not how I remember Chart House. Food and service has declined. Prime Rib cold and served without au jus! Mashed potatoes cold and hard as a rock. Server was inexperienced and detracted from the dining experience. Think I will stick to Flemings and Ruth Chris

    Great restaurant. Happy with our server and our dinner. Only that we think market prices should be disclosed before order. Views at restaurant are amazing. Suggest putting requests for seats at window in reservation because we didn’t and Chart house said they couldn’t accommodate us. Although 2 tables at ocean view windows were empty during our dinner and were not occupied even when we left.

    Being familiar with the Chart House brand, we decided to book reservation and dine at the location in LBK. The location is spectacular and the view incredible. Our meal started with delicious fresh and crisp salads. We anticipated the rest of the meal to be of similar quality. We were disappointed at best. The prime rib was thin, tough, and gristly and carried the flavor of "Kitchen Bouquet". The grouper was overcooked, not flaky, and flavorless. The pasta was meh. Baked potatoes were over salted and unevenly cooked. The table linens were stained. Service was average. For over $300, plus tip, for three of us we expected fine dining, left underwhelmed and will not return to this location.

    Overall good was just ok. It was very hot in the restaurant. Florida in June you should have it nice and cool. Been coming for years, not sure we will come back. Just not great.

    The Chart House is a multi site classic restaurant that consistently serves a good dinner. We’ve dined at many and wanted to try the one on Long Boat Key. It didn’t disappoint us. Our dinners were very good, service to match, all served in a pleasant setting. The restaurant is located on a lagoon just off of the Sarasota Bay entrance channel. Our dinners were worth the hour long drive.

    The food was mediocre. Service was fantastic. The air conditioning was broken. We were so ridiculously hot and uncomfortable. We couldn’t wait to leave.

    I'm a regular here and a Landry's Club member. The food, service and general ambience have always been stellar. Last night, being a Monday, it was not too crowded. But there were some glitches. First off, there was no soap in the Ladies Room dispenser. The other issue is that the house sound system was playing a very annoying vocal pop music stream--not at all in keeping with the elegant dinner atmosphere that this establishment is known for. If the management wishes to "update" the mood for a younger set, we recommend smooth instrumental jazz that would enhance the dining experience and allow for table conversation. I hope they truly consider this important point. My husband and I enjoyed our selections from the Savor Sarasota menu.
