   Moose did a phenomenal job waiting on us. Food was good. Wish you offered red & yellow peppers on your salad buffet. Garlic potatoes were a little overcooked. Had a lovely table overlooking the water.

   Had just a miserable experience and will NEVER go back! Sat us 25 minutes after our 7pm reservation even though there were loads of empty tables because they thought they had already seated us! Only sat us after we asked what was going on? When we spoke to the manager, Helena, she smiled a lot but blamed it on the hostess and did nothing to make us feel better about the miscue. We also pointed out to Helena that the diners at the table next to ours were apparently long gone but the table was totally uncleared. We then pointed that out to our waiter--three times--who assured us that the staff knew and would be taking care of it. When we finished our meal more than 90 minutes later, the table next to ours was still uncleared. We had to look at their half eaten food throughout our entire meal. We also asked if the music could be turned down just a bit and were told "no, the manager (not Helena) likes it turned up." As far as the food, the oysters were fresh and quite good but the grouper and mahi were "just okay". You can get much better almost anywhere in Longboat Key, St. Armands or Lido, some places with comparable waterside views, with lightyear better service.

   Good location with water view. Service is excellent. Fish dishes are good but don’t order the prime rib. It’s poor.

   Excellent as always. The grouper and mango salsa were amazing. You can beat the farmers bar and of course the most tasty cocktails.

   When we walked in the hostess asked if we had a reservation and we said no but would like to sit in the main din(my area. The main dining area was one third full. She said we could sit at the bar our outside but not in the main dining without a reservation. We went to the bar and ordered a drink. I pulled up Chart House on OpenTable and sure enough there were tables available in the main dining area. We made a reservation and returned to hostess stand and she said we have a couple people ahead of you before we can seat you. Not a great experience.

   Entertained our friends at the early bird dinner with cocktails and a meal. Excellent! Mousa, our waiter, was super. TX!

   Great food, but sketchy service. We sat at the bar waiting to be served for 10 minutes. It wasn't particularly busy, and they had two bartenders. But overall, this is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Sarasota, with a SPECTACULAR view of the Longboat Key Inlet.

    Never a bad meal here at The Chart House Sarasota. Service was great and food was delish.prime rib was cooked perfectly and was so very tender. Pasta carbonara was also good as well as the Ahi Tuna. All around great experience. Highly recommend if you are in Sarasota. Great water views as well.
