   Despite it being a seafood restaurant, we only ordered the lobster bisque -- the rest of our order was filet mignon and ribeye. All was great.

   We ordered the new mojito flight which was 90% ice. My husband want macadamia encrusted mahi mahi but didn't have it and settled for halibut. Everything else was good. The menu has become very limited. We were recognized as Landry members and my husband was greeted with happy birthdays. Still miss the salad bar, but the chopped salad was great and the lobster bisque out of this world.

   Longer wait than what we were told, never served breads, items on menu were not available, undercooked pasta, green bean tasted more like rubber band, wrong order served to the table, perfunctory and unsincere apologies from the manager, never even introduced herself, and needed the waitress to remind her twice to show up. McDonald's serves better food and service than here.

   Staff was friendly, personable. We loved our server. Ordered prime rib-it was very fatty and undercooked (asked for MR, got really rare), it was also bland. The ambiance was beautiful, amazing views of Tahoe! Will go again, but won't order the prime rib.

    We have been going to Chart House for years. It’s got a great view of the lake. The food is excellent. We celebrated our anniversary there last night. I would recommend Chart House for any occasion or just because.

    Super good Happy Hour, food very nice, View awesome. Waiter a bit in a rush. Not very friendly or helpful. Just there doing his job, Creme Brulee was outstanding with the 3 flavors for only 8 bucks. Well return for Happy Hour again.

    We’ve eaten here several times in the past and always have a great experience. We enjoy sitting at the bar as the bartenders are engaging despite having to make & serve drinks for the whole restaurant. It happened to be Mother’s Day and the restaurant was packed but nevertheless, we had a great meal and our bartender/server made it all worth the while!

    Always a favorite for our family when we come to town. The prime rib is consistently very good. Our server, Kar, was excellent. We were disappointed to find the salad bar has not returned from COVID shut down…especially since they have returned everywhere else including the Monterey Chart House. While it was a bummer, we still very much enjoyed our meal and dining experience.

    We’ve been coming to Charthouse for nearly every yearly trip to Tahoe for 25 years. The food is always reliably clean, delicious and always memorable. The service is always personal and dedicated to our best dinner experience. The view and ambience are hard to beat.

    My wife and I enjoyed our visit to the Chart House. Our sever, Kelsey, was exceptional. The food on the other hand was just okay. We had a shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp, though flavorful, were dry. My chopped salad had bits of wilted greens, and my wife ordered a baked potato to accompany her prime rib, which was undercooked. Kelsey and the incredible view more than made up for a so-so meal that comes at a high price point. Come for great views, ambience and service, just know the food is good, but not great.

    Crab legs - asked chef if they were soft or hard shell - he said hard - a manager told us later they were soft shell so I feel the $100 for soft shell was a rip off - not as much flavor as hard shell - funny the chef did not know the difference Very very disappointed 🤪

    Birthday dinner and on vacation. We had a beautiful sunset view of Lake Tahoe and the service was amazing. Great wines and menu selection. The server was very good and pleasant. We recommend the Caesar Salad and the filet. I varied and had a lobster pasta and the lobster was fine but did not enjoy the pasta portion. The mud pie was a great end for my birthday dinner. Thank you Chart House for making my day even more special

    Chart House is always a good bet! Their "Chart Your Course" menu is outstanding value. ( The Lava cake is to die for.) Service was excellent. Always a good place to eat when in South Lake Tahoe.

    My wine had black things floating in it. Shrimp were not cleaned. Potato’s had mold on them. This place used to be awesome, very disappointing. Not planning on going back. Service was excellent, food very poor.

    The food and service are always great here. We split a shrimp appetizer that was very good. I had the Coconut Crunch Shrimp w/ 3 dipping sauces that I thoroughly enjoyed. We were celebrating our anniversary and got an ice cream cake desert on the house; that was a nice touch. It was a little noisy. I requested a window table, but did not get one. The Landry's Select Club helped pay for part of the bill.

    Great fresh seafood and steak options. The set menu is also a decent deal. Nice touches like printing "Happy Birthday!" on the menus for parties celebrating a birthday.
