Chart House Restaurant - Jacksonville Ratings and Reviews
Lee provided excellent service and was very good at explaining the dishes when we had questions. My favorite salad is the chopped spinach with warm bacon dressing -- cannot find it anywhere else!!! Be sure to keep it!!
Had the Amber Flame Mahi-Mahi and it was excellent - this was the 2nd time I ordered it since I enjoyed it the first time. Disappointed that the Thai coconut Shrimp soup is no longer available.
When looking for an upscale restaurant for a special occasion in Jacksonville, this is your place! I’ve been going to this Chart House for many years and have NEVER been let down. Lee (our waitress) was on point and made my wife’s birthday date a truly special one. Food was amazingly as usual as well! I cannot wait to go back!!
Fantastic service! Our waitress was attentive to empty drink glasses, cleared empty salad dishes from the salad bar, and always brought clean silverware afterwards. Food was delicious! Only thing I would change would be the background music selection. What they've got is a little too up tempo. Something slower would go perfectly with the night time riverfront ambiance.
Went for Thanksgiving Dinner; what a disappointment! They offered a Turkey plate that had been prepared obviously, well before Service. Plate had white and dark meat, when requested to not have dark meat, we were told they couldn’t do that as plates had been prepared earlier; asked that gravy be placed on the side, again all plates were already covered in gravy and that wasn’t an option.
The turkey meat was obviously NOT fresh cooked but rather pressed meat, prepared a day or two earlier (poor flavor and taste), a large disappointment to a Holiday Dinner, Chart House let us down😕
This was our third time. Each time was worse than the one before. Unfortunately, It will be our
last. Food was Mediocre at best. The Atmosphere and Building need allot of Attention.
There was a Roof leak very close to our table. Carpet Stains, Peeling Wallpaper etc.
The Value was definitely not there. We have had better food and experiences at .............
The coconut shrimp & bruschetta appetizers were very good and the prime rib was very good as well, but the Caesar salad had tough yellow lettuce in lieu of green leafy pieces and was saturated with garlic. The manager came by to inquire about our concerns but didn't seem too care as he had few words and left promptly.
For the price we paid for three people in an environment of outdated interior finishes, we would have been better off going to one of the high-end restaurants at St. Johns Town Center.
I was initially not pleased because I arrived and was told by the Hostess that there were no available tables even though I made a reservation . She advised we could go to the bar while we waited for a table to become available and could even eat at the bar if we choose. I advised that the purpose of my reservation was to have a table for my birthday . The next hostess did make things right and the remainder of the evening was excellent. All of the Hostesses should understand the purpose of a reservation. Thank you
For special occasions the ambience is tops. The menu with congratulations on our anniversary printed at the top is a nice touch. Some of the best service while being unobtrusive. Always enjoy the salad bar. My wife’s filet mignon was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Must mention that my scallops and shrimp were over cooked. Not inedible but the scallops were close. Did not wish to interrupt our evening so I completed meal without complaint . When informed of the over cooked seafood I was offered another entree which I declined as I had eaten my meal. Just surprising at a fine dining establishment. Overall a special occasion spot.
I hadn't been here in several years. Very good but would have liked more salad dressing choices on salad bar. Also would have liked to see more white wines offered by the glass and a larger pour. Steak was delicious and the view was great. Very comfortable and lovely restaurant.
My wife and i were in town for a couple days for the Florida- Georgia game. We ate at the chart house our first night and loved everything about it! The building is so very cool, food excellent, service very good... jst had a really nice long dinner. Love the fact it wad5 right next door to or hotel Lexington as well! We will be back next year for another great dinner
It was amazing and the food was great, the server was very easy to talk to and was able to explain every thing on the menu we had a question about. The view was mesmerizing. You can see the stadium and bridge lighting reflecting off the water. Can’t wait to go back to this place.
The food was great as usual. The service was off from the normal. We have dined at this local several times over the years and the location in Daytona. The service was lacking. Had to request our drinks twice and go to th bar to get them. I could tell be the condensation on the glasses the drinks had been setting at the bar station for some time. Took a long time to get our meals. Very unusual and not the typical service we have received in the past. Disappointed with that aspect. $350 diner bill for 4 people . I would expect a better service experience.
I have been a long-term member of the town center community and really have not stepped outside very often over the past three years. But I have noticed that food has not been as quality in this area as it once was and that it seems more about mass production and less about the experience. I decided to venture to a very unfamiliar area and try out a restaurant based on the suggestion of a friend. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality the service and the overall feel of the establishment. Greeters at the front make sure you felt welcomed. The server was very attentive and also seem to be happy to work there. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is not a consistent City goer. Make the trip it is truly worth it.
