My wife and I chose Chart House to celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. We were seated in a quiet corner with a view which enabled us to visit without the challenge o a lot of noise.
We enjoyed the menu specials
and appreciated the complimentary
Dessert.
Thank you for a very special evening.

Food was very good and plentiful. Service was top notch, from the bus boy to the management. Quiet and relaxing.
The food was outstanding and our waiter was the best!
Sam was our waitress, her service along with the food was impeccable. Hummus appetizer was delicious and our party of 4 all had different entrees, each one very good. Finished off the meal with coffee and Carmel macadamia cheesecake which was to die for, sooo good!
We had a wonderful experience at the other night. The manager, Vincent, treated us like family and made sure our experience was the best it could be.
We were celebrating (3) 70th birthdays! We were treated to wonderful food; quiet surroundings with a beautiful view; several nice individualized touches that really made the evening special for all of us. Service was outstanding.
Very slow service and forgot friend’s birthday after being reminded 3 times.
Went for a birthday dinner, arrived early to enjoy happy hour specials in bar before dinner. Happy hour bar menu was good, dinner menu was good and food was tasty.
What we hated was being harangued by servers about joining the Landry dining club. We figured there is a fair amount of tension amongst employees as this topic came up with two different servers, and then a tiff ensued over which employee would receive credit when we agreed to join.
Massively mediocre and significantly overpriced. Really not a place if go back at those prices... There are so many better choices.
Food is high priced, kids menu is limited. Not a friendly family restaurant. dining tables and chairs need to be updated. The chairs have visible stains and the tables were failing apart.
Easter. David was a new server only two months on the job, but gives all signs of fitting in well with Jason’s chosen team. Guidance from Jake and Sean clearly didn’t hurt.
The usual excellent experience!
Filet Mignon was overcooked (requested medium and it had no pink in the center). Crab legs weren't very fresh.
We really enjoyed our meal. Salad bar fantastic. House dressing extremely flavorful. We will be back thanks for a nice
1st visit there.
The food was soooooooooooo good! The salad bar was excellent, the beer was outstanding, and our entrees were perfect. Enjoyed every minute of it.
This is the second time I have been to the Chart House in Genessee. Both times the service, food and ambiance have been great! It is definitely on the pricier side, which makes it a very occasional place for me to visit. However, I have been very pleased with my dining experience each time I have visited.
Nicely presented menu. Good view of mountains and city. Very attentive staff. Nice looking salad bar.
The salad bar isn't what it used to be. Romaine lettuce looked like it came from a bag with some pieces soggy. No one was at the station for serving Caesar salad. Entrees were excellent but pricey. Waitress was attentive but had a strange practice of shaking hands with us before and after dinner. Would have preferred not to. Waitress encouraged us to order the ice cream sampler and then also brought us an ice cream cake with the sampler as we were there for a birthday. Shouldn't have encouraged us to order ice cream when she new the ice cream cake would be coming. Prices here are getting to high.
Beautiful view with nice atmosphere and really good food
The food was badly prepared and expensive. They double-charged me and I had to track down a manager to get the bill corrected. They cooked one steak wrong, the oysters were not properly cleaned and cut away from the shell, and the presentation was bland. I couldn't believe how much I paid for a poor dining experience.
Steak was overdone - no offer to replace. Couldn’t finish it, so was given the wine at no cost. Steak was 36.50 - wine was 14. Won’t go back.
Food and presentation was delicious and the service was great. However, the table that we were seated at, although we had a great view was a bit cramped. Whenever the waiter at the table next to us came by to serve them, he moved our extra chair out of the way. 70% of the time when he did so, he rammed the chair into my husband's legs.
We love having dinner with friends and family at the Chart House. The view of Denver is "one of a kind" and the food is delicious.
Our server, Billy, was very engaging. The NY steak and chicken dishes were excellent. The Ahi tuna was good. The Molten Lava cake was wonderfuld
We had the whole fireplace dining area to ourselves for most of our evening (Monday evening). The fireplace was warm, the lights were turned down, the music, food and wine were great. It was so perfect that my BF, my high school sweetheart, asked me to marry him! A very memorable night....and a dream come true! 💘
Our reservation was for 5pm and we arrived a few minutes after 5. We had small children with us and that is the reason for booking early. It was restaurant week however none of us ordered off that menu. We ordered clam chowders which had way too much flour in it. It was very thick and not very tasty. We also ordered stuffed mushrooms which were just OK. We waited 1 hour and 35 minutes for our dinner to be served . We were just getting ready to leave at 645pm when they delivered our COLD DRY food. I could barely cut through the stuffed shrimp since it was so dry. The prime rib and salmon were cold in addition to the sides. I would never go there again. What a disappointment for our special occasion. We wanted to order the lava cake but it would have arrived after the children's bedtime.
Sean was the server and it was very bad. I recognize that the restaurant was busy but no excuse for bad service from start to finish!!
Dined at the Chart House during restaurant week. 3 out of the 4 of us at the table ordered the Coconut Shrimp (delicious), Prime Rib (very good), Mud Pie and added a Salad - seriously did not need the salad there was more than enough food! The food was very good, and our service was excellent. Even the bar tender went above and beyond and made Grapefruit/Basil Martini's that were not on menu but oh, so delicious. Only Disappointment: I had booked reservations several weeks in advance and asked for room with city view. Called prior to reservation to confirm, when we got there I was told that everyone wants this room and they could not accommodate our group at this time. I could wait, but staff did not know how long it would be before we were seated.
This restaurant was amazing. I wish I would have known to request the window side so we could have enjoyed the amazing views of the valley. We sat in the fireside room and it was so romantic and cozy. The food was very good as well.
We had a 7:30 reservation for 10, including 6 kids. Our table was not ready at this time so we agreed to wait. An hour and a half later said table still was occupied. We suggested they look at other options, and ended up in the bar area. Bubthis time kids were starving, no one had ever offered to grab a drink or appetizer while waiting or offered an apology. Simple things like an acknowledgement of our time would have been nice. Food arrived cold and restaurant was closing and anxious to do so by the time we left.
It was a nice Mountain setting and cozy the service was good.
Was disappointed sat us in a crow of standing people. When they finally left everything was fine
The leftover happy hour bar crowd was in the dining area, loud and did not make for good atmosphere
Dave provided amazing customer service as always. We enjoy having him as our server every time we dine at Chart House.
We drove up from Denver for restaurant week very excited for a date night. The menu had a decent selection. I chose the poke, prime rib, creme brule and added on a chopped salad. The poke came in a strange Chinese box that did not fit the class of the restaurant. It tasted okay for poke but had small pieces pieces of chopped fish. The prime rib was cooked perfect. Unfortunately it came with a terrible mixed horseradish mixed with cream cheese. I was really excited for creme brule but it came with frozen raspberries. The flambe on the top was soft and cold like it had been made ahead of time. As far as the restaurant itself, there are great views from any seat in the restaurant as long as you don't mind the lights from 170. The moon was perfect from our seat and you can see it beyond the poke picture. I enjoyed being out of the city for dinner and loved the ambience but the service was not the greatest. I'd have a hard time going back.
Went here for Restaurant Week. Fantastic food and service. A great way to try a new place!
Great start on service. Then 30 minutes between appetizers/ salad and dinner. No updates during time then desert menus left on table for another 10 minutes and then 15 minutes after that to get check. Far too slow in my mind.
Wonderful service. The food is good, but not exemplary. I like the salad bar, but it could be updated a bit. I had a nice piece of meat, but it was cold. Those mashed potatoes, though, are inedible. I enjoy the view and take my guests there for a nice Colorado experience. A culinary thrill, however, it is not.
Delicious, unique options for Restaurant week; don't forget to order Mud Pie!
Love this restaurant!! The food was wonderful and the staff made sure we never had to wait for anything. Perfect date night!!
Beyond disappointed. Our service was awful and the prime rib was even worse.
We loved Chart House for many years but will never return.
Our experience was so bad that we cancelled our remaining reservations for restaurant week.
Don't bother letting the manager know, he simply says"thank you for telling me" and hands you the bill without any adjustments for 3 meals that were inedible.
It was a bad enough experience that I sent the restaurant an email directly ... never received a response.
Such a shame.
