Chart House Restaurant - Golden Nugget - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Had a very nice dinner. Went for my husband's birthday. Service was very good and the atmosphere was fabulous. My husband is a fish aquarium type person and this is the place for those enthuses. The huge fish tank was very enjoyable for our table. Everyone enjoyed their food and the staff was very nice and attentive and they all knew about our birthday celebration. Made us feel like we were special. Thanks for a great time.
I had a made a reservation for 7:45pm and we had arrived early. We were sat immediately right next to the giant fish tank. They had also used special menus that had "Happy Birthday" printed along the top. Our server was amazing and made sure that everything came out hot and delicious. Also, at the end of the night put extra effort into finding the perfect picture spot for us. I definitely recommend the Fried Asparagus for an appetizer and the Blood Sand drink if you like whiskey. We will going back soon!
The food was outstanding! Both seafood and steaks were ordered - all came out exactly as requested. The crusted ahi and the filet were done to perfection. Everything was topped off by amazing creme brûlée desserts. Great place, great service, great food! What more could you ask for? :)
This staff worked together as a team! Everyone made sure our experience was top notch. Where else can you go where they will rotate your shrimp cocktail to provide better access? The scallops were amazing and everything was priced just right!
We would definitely go back again.
We've gone to Chart House quite a few times over the last several years and have been pleased with each meal. The fish entrees have always been fresh with nice sized portions - not too large, not too small. The swordfish was exceptionally good on our last visit. The sauces compliment the fish dishes very well. The Duck Pot Stickers with Cherry Sauce are a favorite. The Chopped Spinach Salad is absolutely the best spinach salad we've ever had, and actually a meal in itself. The servers have been very professional. The aquarium is pleasant and relaxing. My only criticism would be that the music is just a smidge loud and a little too pop for our tastes, but it's tolerable.
Our appetizer arrived before our drinks. This was awkward and then we felt rushed to eat our "expensive" appetizer quickly because we thought our meals would be served fast too. As it turns out they were served fast. Experience was too rushed since the restaurant was not full and our bill was over $100. If we wanted to eat fast, we could have gone to McDonalds.
We went here for our reception dinner after our wedding. Atmosphere is great with large fish tank restaurant is built around. Food was okay but service was lacking. They knew we were there for a special occasion and it took a long time for drinks and food and restaurant was not busy. When we did get food it was not hot. Overall cool atmosphere but disappointed in food and service.
Nice happy hour with drink specials. Our server was terrific, very knowledgeable about the menu, answered all our questions about menu items. A little pricey, but the food was excellent. I think a salad or vegetable should come with a meal, but all was al a carte. The fish tank was incredible and well-kept and was a nice touch. The only problems we had was that it was so loud, terrible acoustics, screaming kids, both not appropriate for a fine dining experience.
We were seated next to two large parties. It was rather loud at times. Would have liked to be seated further away for a more pleasant holiday dinner. The food portions were quite small for the price. The food was delicious. I would come back for another visit. The decor was beautiful and the fish tank is amazing.
Wow - I read about this restaurant with the aquarium in the center of the restaurant but we were totally impressed when the Moray Eel swam down to our table (twice). One disappointment is I made our reservation on OpenTable for 4 and when we arrived to an "empty" restauant they tried to seat us as far a way from the aquarium as possible. Bad move, but due to my persistance I asked and we were accomodated. Our waiter was great, and we will come back for the food but most of all the ambience.
I was a little disappointed with our food. When you hear Chart House, you think great food. Prime rib, not the best. The fried Mac n Cheese my husband did not like, he is a Mac n Cheese guy.
I brought my plastic to go cup, was not asked if I prefer glass.
The aquarium is beautiful. The fact that children were present, ok. They were great kids.
I will try the Chart House on another visit to The Golden Nugget. Hope it is what I expected.
I made reservations earlier in the day, with a special request of having one of the 3 back booths in order to have a great view of the aquarium. When we arrived, everything was in order with the back booth waiting! Top notch service and ambiance with a knowledgeable staff. Would recommend this spot to everyone!
Just came across this restaurant by chance with 7 for dinner, I wanted a fine dining atmosphere, fish aquariums,
Really excellent food, great fish selection, good wine, was not so loud, we could talk to one another across the table.
Excellent service, my guest were very impressed and said their prime rib was the best they ever ate.
Keep up the good work.
