Chart House Restaurant - Golden Nugget - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We returned to one of our favorite restaurants for our 49th St. Valentines Day Dinner. The Chim-Chi Calamari Appettiser was excellent. My wife’s Shrimp dish and my Seafood Platter were enjoyable as well. Our server (Leah) was excellent and on the ball.
Our only disappointment was with the Grand Marnier Soufflé. Dessert. The first one fell and was not served. A second one was made, (long wait in between) probably in a rush, and was nothing but merienge. We’ve enjoyed many Souffle’s over the years of marriage, it appeared in their haste to remake the dessert, a few critical ingredients were left out. After we commented to Leah it wasn’t right, on her own she went to her Manager and had it removed from our check, to our pleasant surprise.
We’ll still return to the restaurant, but next time order the Lava Cake for Dessert!
Highly recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely outstanding!! We had lunch there one day and dinner the next night. Fish and chips lunch was hand battered cod, with fresh French Fries. Dinner, we had a whole wok fried red snapper and grilled scallops and shrimp with linguine respectively. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was equally exceptional; pricey but worth it.
The food was excellent. The calamari appetizer was delicious. Lightly fried with vegetables. Some of the best we’ve had. My husband and son thoroughly enjoyed the prime rib and that’s seldom the case when we eat it at restaurants. Our waiter was great. Very personable and knowledgeable about the food and how it’s served. He also gave us a couple great tips on things to do during our stay. You won’t be disappointed here.
Have lived in Las Vegas 28 Years. Arguably one of worst meals we have ever had at a place that considers itself as "fine dining". It has a nice 75,000 gallon fish tank! I believe the fish in the tank would have been tastier than our Sea Bass. The overall ambiance and décor was akin to an upscale Denny's. Hello Red Lobster!
The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the traetment from the gals at the front desk. I stood there for a bit infront of them and I had to tell them I was waiting to be sitted and that I had a reservation. I send a lot of my clients there to eat. If they could be more attentive of customers and ask to help them w/o them asking for help, would make the experience much better.
Other than that everything was good stuff in general was great.
We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday, we have never been here before since we live out of town. We like the Chart House in Redondo Beach so this was her pick. Dinner was good, prime rib was delicious and the filet was cooked a little overdone but tasted good. Soup and salad were good too. Server was just okay, he was nice but just a little distracted as time went on. Overall we did have a nice dinner.
This is my 2nd time having dinner at the Chart House and I highly recommend it! My family went to celebrate my dad's birthday and he loves it there, mainly because the fish tank is beautiful! The food, drinks, and service were wonderful!! I recommend the calamari to start, swordfish, filet mignon, and mud pie. They did something really special for dad and put a happy birthday message at the top of the menu...what a wonderful touch to make my dad feel special! This restaurant and staff are exceptional!
Service and and ambiance was very good, maybe it was what we ordered: Crab-Avocado-Mango appetizer, very bland and almost frozen. the Filet Migon had a great sear, but went all the way through and over cooked the thin steak and the seasoning was awful, like eating a spoon of salt with a piece of overcooked meat. Other entrees that people had looked appetizing, maybe we hit the unlucky lotto that night.
We went here for my wife’s 40th birthday. It was amazing. They handled our table of nine with ease.
It was a good place for our group to go to as they have something for everyone.
It was a good value as it was less then hundred dollars a person with drinks, appetizers, entree and, dessert.
We will be visiting them again the next time we’re in town.
We are locals and decided to venture downtown. We live in a nice area with a lot of nice restaurants but decided to see a show and dinner along with it. We picked the Chart House and we were so pleased with EVERYTHING. Our server was amazing as was everything we ordered. We enjoyed watching the beautiful huge fish tank and ambiance. We will certainly become regulars there. People sitting next to us were from out of town, and we had an amazing time with them, even sharing and tasting our different foods, and they bought us drinks also. Just a most pleasant evening all around.
Always have had wonderful meals at Chart House, until this time. Our server was great, but the quality of food was sub par compared to all times prior. Lobster bisque was not good, it may as well been called Sherry Bisque. And king crab was ruined by being cooked with garlic, and then on top of it, served cold. I’m guessing this was just a “bad night” at this place, as every other time (which is several) it’s been superb.
Too smoky from adjacent casino, eyes begin to burn in a matter of minutes
Also requested to be seated by aquarium (on open table) I'm thinking the request was completely overlooked because they had plenty of tables available (res was earlier-6 PM) so I'm sure they get more crowded. I should have asked to be moved to a better table with the view but oh well. Over the years I have eaten at the Char House in Maui and Malibu, not sure if either of those are in existence anymore, but this didn't live up to the level of those by a long shot.
Waitress was friendly and service was decent. Food mediocre. Could not recommend
The atmosphere is great, but the food was absolutely horrible. Steak was tough, chicken was rubber and could not be chewed. Wait staff was at our table constantly, was very distracting from having any sort of conversation. Would highly suggest to avoid this restaurant, if not because of the food, the over inflated price of horrible food.
Server was one of the best we had in along while. King Salmon was mushy and oily like Atlantic. Being from the Pacific Northwest I know. I thought the S.Pellgrino water as overpriced at $15 a bottle. Lava cake was great as usual with the after dinner Cappachino. Overall pretty good experience.
