Very accommodating. They did a great job.
Their early bird dining is the best deal in the area. The prime rib is as good as it gets. My wife's red snapper was absolutely delicious. Their chef has to be top notch.
Totally fantastic experience. Great water view and comfortable seating. Server was outstanding, Jesse recommended the best appetizer ever in the calamari dish we ordered. Entrees were great tasting. Romantic setting for our 39 th wedding anniversary. Will go for our 40th for sure.
Worst service in Daytona beach will never go back
Bill was over 209 and server sucked
Perfect dining experience. Restaurant seems to run like a well oiled machine.
The restaurant, food, and service was very good. Should we ever be in the area, worth a second visit. The drive from Orlando to Daytona for a 6:30 pm reservation was terrible. This trip will not be repeated.
Our service was extremely slow and didn’t pick up our dirty dishes or refill water glasses
The food wasn’t as good as usual either.
Food was excellent. Hadn't been there for a year because of poor service last time. The service was excellent this time but the decor was changed, liked it better a year ago.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in this area. We celebrate mine and friends birthdays there. Four friends and I were there a week prior to this one and the food (prime rib) was out of this world. Based on this experience I recommended the Prime rib. It was a mistake Three of us ordered it in various donnes. All three were disappointing. The waiter offered to bring an other piece but by then we were disgusted.
We arrived early but was not told salad bar was included in our meal . As a result we ordered appetizers (we would not have if we had known ) Our bill was almost $200.00 which was a bit much for two senior citizens . If we had not had appetizers would have been much more satisfied .
Great service - waiter was attentive and made helpful and delicious suggestions. Food was wonderful. Would definitely return!
Took my husband for the first time because he has been dying for a great piece of grouper. This place did not disappoint. We had reservations at 5 and I thought we could get the happy hour but you have to be downstairs for that. You can’t even get the drink specials upstairs but we know for next time. Our server Jace was wonderful and pleasant. The view was excellent. I haven’t been in over 20 years and nothing had changed. I do think that the salad bar is a little overpriced for what’s on there especially if you have it added on to a $40 dinner plate. We will go again for a anniversary or happy hour for sure.
Great food and good service! Would highly recommend, especially for a special occasion!
Our meals tasted great. My wife had the lobster and I had the swordfish. Both were cooked to perfection. And of course their salad bar is always great.
This was our first time and couldn't be happier. The food and service were excellent!
How to heck do you serve cold mashed potatoes? When I make them at home they stay hot for 20 minutes or more. Ordered the 3/4 pound crab legs and didn't eat any of them as I was full. When I got home there was less than 1/4 pound of crab legs and I asked my girlfriend what to heck happened to them all. She was also surprised that there was most of the crab legs were gone. Very disappointed that after a $180 meal I get ripped off with my leftovers. I will NEVER return there.
Good dinner spot, we also frequent the Weehawken, N.J. restaurant. Daytona has the great views of the harbor and the marina and, Weehawken has the most beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline, second only to Ruths Chris Steakhouse. Daytona, was good, we visited there twice this trip.
The only problem was our waiter spilled (Accidentially) a martini on a person in our party. We were going to a concert and were an hour away from home so going home was not an option. The waitress said the manager would be over and he did come but did not say anything. At the end you did compensate (after mentioning the episode again)with giving him a free dessert. It was upsetting to him only because we were all going to a venue and he smelled like alcohol.
My friends and I enjoyed very much. The salad bar were fresh and lovely.
Our server were very professional and efficient.
A good find in Daytona, not a lot of fine dining there. Had a simple grouper , wife had a snapper entree. Great blood orange margarita and reasonable martini pricing. Server forgot to serve our “chart house salad”, but she had her manager take it off the bill ...haha. Eaten at many chart houses , most are better , but then again in Daytona this is top 4-5.
Location, service, and food are usually very good. A bit commercial, and also on the expensive side, so we like to go on special occasions, rather than to frequent daily or even weekly.
Everything at Chart House was wonderful from being seated to leaving. The food was awesome and ambiance super. What more can I say?
Food, view and service was great. The mango mojito is absolutely amazing!
As usual, our dinner and view were excellent. The service was a bit slower than usual, probably because of the crowd surge (from the Daytona 500), but our (overworked) server did his best and remained very polite.
Excellent food . Our server was informative and prompt! Great dining experience
Four guys are here on Saturday 2-18-18 the night before Daytona 500. The salad bar was excellent as always and the kimchi calamari was a little over cooked. The entrees were excellent. A swordfish catch of the day, and grouper were the favorites at our table.
The service is an entirely different story. Three party buses arrived before our party. The management obviously was overwhelmed. The bar service was pathetic. PATHETIC BAR SERVICE. our appetizer arrived before our drinks. We never got one of our wine by the glass Never got it. Another second beer ordered with dinner arrived after deserts. The waitress checked on how our dinners were tasting over halfway into
Our dinners. The manager brought us free desserts and forgot one order and brought something else. It was like the Three Stooges were running the show here.
Lovely water views and excellent service. Great appetizers, sides and dessert! Entrees expensive and very disappointing. Parmesan crusted snapper had processed coating, very hard and overcooked. I believe it was something pre made and frozen that was dropped into a fryer. Inedible and $35!
Went with my wife for an after Valentines celebration. Food was great. Service not so. Don’t know if it was going he servers fault or not but it took an hour and ten minutes to get our food from the time we ordered it. We were seated immediately, even a few minutes before our reservation time. But then another couple was seated at the next table over after us and finished eating still before our food arrived. Fortunately we enjoyed the view and each other.
All was great however there were too many people at front desk and lots of confusion on getting people seated in a fast organized manner.
Have dined at chart house many times. My favorite place in Daytona Beach. However, this time was very disappointing. Took quite a while to get food which was not a big issue. The issue was the food quality. Two in our party ordered twin lobster tails. One tail was undercooked and one tail was way over cooked. Also one person did not get proper order.
Probably should have complained but didn’t. Very busy night at the restaurant. Waiter was not very attentive either
At these prices you expect excellent quality. Will have to think twice about going to Chart House again.
The ribeye was cold and fatty, and my scallops and shrimp we’re only 3 each. For the price I would expect more from a upscale restaurant, very dissatisfied.
We were disappointed in the service. The food was good but not what you would expect from this level of a restaurant. We have been many times but we will not go back. Too many other great places to eat in the area that have better service, food and value.
The food, service and aesthetics were great. The noise level was much too high to enjoy conversation in an upscale restaurant.
Had an amazing night. Was seated before our reservation time, the food was delicious and our waitress was top notch!
Already reported my complaint...the Bar was booked for a Private Function...so we had arrived at 4:30PM when the Restaurant was scheduled to open. So we left and went to another Bar and then came back...Sorry we love your Bar but if you need to Book a Private Function...I get it.
However you should tell us when we Book a 6:30 Table.
Sorry again...but we spent $100.00 in another Bar and, then came back to the Chart House for dinner. Oh thanks for the “On the House” Coconut Shrimp HorsDeouves”.
Very nice environment, lovely setting on the water coupled with excellent service and food.
As always food, and service was excellent. Nathen our server was fantastic
The food was excellent, as were the cocktails, but definitely on the expensive side. Even with an appetizer split between 2 of us and 2 of the Chef’s specials, we both were still somewhat hungry. The place was super nice, but I didn’t really feel like I got my money’s worth. If you have the money to spend, I’d highly recommend it.
Usually we come here and enjoy our experience 100%. Tonight, wasn’t one of those nights. The table we were sat at was close to the kitchen entrance and the light above the table was like a strobe light (similar to a halogen bulb flickering because it’s on a dimmer). We had the hostess move us. The same thing at the next table but it was tolerable. I would suggest they have an electrician come in and look at the bulb types and repair.
The salad at the salad bar was very tired and slimy (black and spotty too). I skipped the salad and just had some of the other vegetables. When my fish came I could see oily fingerprints around the rim of the plate! Yuk! And during flu season makes it worse. It was almost like they spilled something on the plate and attempted to wipe it away but did so very poorly. Then there were several other prints around the plate (prints not glove marks). That's just rushing an order out and being careless about presentation. It is unfortunate as the fish itself was tasty.
The kitchen area (on the way to the bathroom) was a mess. I get places get busy - but there was food on the floor, cooks without gloves, one guy was sweating and wiped his brow! YUK! I hope he was the one who put fingerprints on my plate! .
Oh well - not a great experience tonight. Not sure if we will be back as this restaurant has gone through lots of change over the year. Its good, then great, then bad...
Last experience at a Chart House was in Westchester County.,NY at least 20 years ago. Glad to see that standards have been maintained!
Food was excellent and waiter kept to our tight schedule,as we had an event later that evening.
We will be returning.
