My husband ordered the tuna and it was not eatable. It was all tendon and heavy fat. It should not have been plated. The manager agreed
Thank you for an accommodation of our needs :)))
Service was great! The view was spectacular!
We enjoyed our time and meal at Chart House.
Service, drinks and food were exceptional. And-You cannot beat the view !
59th wedding anniversary and 81st birthday.
Everything was wonderful. From arriving early and being seated right away, to the server, excellent appetizers, entrees and dessert, it was a special occasion worth repeating.
Great food and service
Beyond horrible. Worst anniversary non-dinner experience ever. Why? Three steaks ruined. One overcooked, one undercooked and third dried up while kept warm as second steak was being prepared. Initially the second steak thought to be acceptable but it wasn't. Total wasted time, 1 hr 20 minutes plus roundtrip drive. By time we got to the Daytona boardwalk everyone was at capacity. Except for pizza joint next to Pier. Had to settle for fried frozen shrimp and french fries. Never again will I second guess my choices again. Meaning, Chart House was my second choice. Should've stuck with Hyde Park Steak @Hilton.
We always love to go to a Chart House while on vacation. Normally there are beautiful views and wonderful food. Every thing was perfect, except when we left and saw the outdoor seating over looking the water and yachts which we were not aware of. We may would liked to be out there, but since we had never been to this Chart House, we were not aware of it and no one mentioned it.
We have been coming here for over 30 years. Most disappointing meal and service. No longer have oysters Rockefeller which we always ordered. I’m sure slow service was due to lack of wait staff which is caused by government continued unemployment!! There was plenty of kitchen staff so that does not excuse the 3 dinners if overcooked fish.
Food needs work in some areas
Cous Cous was gloppy and not fresh and who puts potato in a pasta trip dish
It had an odd smell not sure if it was sea?
Service is and was good
If u wanna know more you gotta pay me
Cool place to experience and good food. Would highly recommend
Lovely restaurant on the water. Great atmosphere, food was delicious, our server was very attentive. Great dining experience.
They could not seat my party and pretended they just needed a few minutes. After almost a half hour, they sat us at extra bar tables on footstools instead of chairs. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, but was rare - raw and not even warm.
The soup was cold and very little of it. The prime rib was very tough. It was difficult to cut and impossible to chew. The waiter had so many tables he had little time to take care of our needs. The new menu had significant price increases and the quantity and quality of the food did not match the prices.
The building is a little dated and parking lot needs some work. The food and service was excellent.
Overall excellent—food has tasted more savory in the past.
Our family tradition since I moved here with my parents back in the 80s. My daughter took me April 8 for my birthday because she knows this is the place to go for all things special and brings pleasant memories of the past. My daughter and I continue my parents tradition. Thank you for excellent food, service and overall experience.
The staff treated us wonderfully and our dinners were very good!
We have eaten at many Chart Houses. This was a bad dining experience. The waitress was attentive at first, but when we finished our meal it sat there for 30 minutes. I finally had to waive her down. Her supervisor was standing there doing nothing. Didn't even look our way. I got peach scallops and shrimp. I told the waitress the shrimp tasted like a cleaner was on them. Nothing tasted great. The salad was wilted head lettuce with too much dressing. I don't usually complain but this is an expensive place and l expect more. I also expect maybe a free desert or something when my meal is inedible. This was a trainee waitress who was clearly overwhelmed. I would think her supervisor would help other tables if she needed help or at least look my way if I turn around and try to get her attention.
Other diners were quite loud. The lava cake was cold throughout but EVERYTHING else was perfect!
We've had dinner at our local Chart House several times in the last few months. Food and service are usually fair to good for a restaurant in this price realm. Food seems to suffer a little when they're busy, most possibly due to maintaining a smaller kitchen staff during COVID. Although, we wouldn't want to be rushed during a meal at such a venue, service could still be stepped up just a bit. There seem to be long periods of waiting after serving drinks and before food orders are taken. Nonetheless, it's still one of the most pleasurable restaurants in the area for a fine meal with great ambiance and views.
My biggest complaint, which is the same for most higher-end restaurants, is their insane wine prices. I fully expect such an establishment to make a decent profit on wine sales, particularly if the wine "cellar" is stocked with plenty of upper-crust wines. But under no circumstances should it be acceptable to charge triple for a grocery-store wine that can be had any day of the week for $15, or even more ridiculous for a $65 bottle available at ABC or Total wine to be on the menu for $125. Just my opinion, of course.
Wonderful time- amazing food! The scallops were to die for! Great choices for dessert as well. Also a good kids menu.
Easter Sunday dining experience. From the time my wife and I arrived, we were greeted at the door, seated immediately, and the experience was very accommodating and pleasant. The restaurant was busy, but didn’t affect service, food, the ambiance or the experience. We were seated in a booth with a view as requested in our Open Table reservation. Our server Amanda was pleasant and very attentive. We weren’t rushed and enjoyed the view and the restaurant. Food and the presentations were exceptional. We did order the lava cake at the time of our entrees as previously suggested in other reviews. Needless to say, it was delish. The manager stopped by the table to address a comment to the server about the temperature of the prime rib, although acceptable, and immediately corrected the situation. It was a pleasurable and remarkable dining experience. Highly recommend the Chart House.
Excellent food and the service that Abeera provided was exceptional. This made our dining experience phenomenal.
The Chart House has always been one of my favorite restaurants in New Jersey. This one in Daytona lived up to all my previous expectations. We dined there on Easter Sunday.
The ambiance , the view, the food and the service were spectacular. We will certainly frequent this establishment more often.
Have eaten at the Chart House in NJ and same great food and service in Florida. We will be back again.
Thanks Lorenzo for another great dining experience!
We had a nice meal with a great view of the river while we ate.
Delightful. Beautiful views through clean windows!
Great food and great service. Can’t wait to go back!
The Alaskan King Crab was excellent and the service was excellent as well. The price for the Alaskan King Crab was a little much (69.00).
excellent dinner, ambience, views and wines selection!
Prime rib was appropriately flavored but had some unusually tough parts. Overall it was fine but not anything beyond competent. Others in our party selected the shrimp trio and swordfish. It was fine.
Waitstaff was a team of two and neither of them seemed to be particularly seasoned. One offered to explain the difference between two similar, on the menu, cocktails. When we accepted, she read the menu to us. That's not terrible but not helpful either. They also served another table nearby and dumped a third table's drinks onto that second table.
Wine service was from the same staff. We received no recommendations or discussion. They struggled to remove the cork but otherwise provided solid and attentive wine service.
I would consider going again but it's not a must visit.
Vacation dinner!
The food, service and views were all outstanding!
service, food and beautiful location on water was great, thanks for a memorable
meal, would recommend to others and will return when in the area
Levi was our waiter and took great care of us! Food and service were excellent!
Nice repast. Amanda, our server was a bit curt. Would not suggest using her.
The food service for the main course was extremely slow.it was very loud in the dining room and the food was just ok this time. Not sure this experience was worth the overall cost due to the slow service and average food.
The Kimchi calamari was amazing! Would highly recommend!
