Chart House Restaurant - Annapolis Ratings and Reviews
It has been years since I had been to the Chart House but my recent visit did not disappoint. The redesign looks amazing and the location and view is great as before. We went for Sunday Brunch and the salad bar, food and service were impeccable. Highly recommended all around.
The Chocolate & Bourbon drink was amazing (photo attached) and highly recommended for bourbon lovers.
My only complaint was we had a reservation but still had to wait 30+ minutes. They were very apologetic which helps, but they should have given us a free appetizer or something. Other than that the food was great and service was good. It was very crowded which made it pretty noisy but I’d come back on a slower night.
My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner. It was our first fine dinning experience just the two of us. The atmosphere was very nice other than the noise level. It was very noisy. The food was pretty good. The Lava cake was our favorite part of dinner, it was delicious! Our server was always smiling and we had a great night. Would recommend to someone.
Although we've lived in Annapolis for ages, this was our first visit to The Chart House.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and warm, the menu selections were fantastic, and our server, Justine, was excellent! She had extensive knowledge of the menu and wine list and made excellent wine recommendations to compliment our meals.
We were celebrating my father's 85th birthday-he was wished a Happy Birthday by every staff member we had contact with and they even printed "Happy 85th Birthday" on our menus! The ambiance was lovely and you couldn't ask for a better waterview in Annapolis. We are already planning our next visit.
The chart house is a beautiful location with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated placing in the restaurant firmly in the category of overpriced, average food. You are paying for the location and view but not for the food. The rstaurant would be well served to improve the quality of the food significantly. If they did, this would be one of the premier spots to dine in Annapolis.
My wife and I had an amazing time. The service, the food and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely dine here again. Even with the restaurant being busy, it was a lot of guests but it didn't feel crowded or cramped; we had an awesome view of the water and was able to still have intimate conversation. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Great place and it is worth the price, which is not outrageous btw
We arrived prior to our reservation for a drink & surprisingly able to find a seat at the bar. Bar was busy. We were seated at our reserved time and had a long term, experienced server. She allowed us to visit and when we were ready to order, we did. The Rockfish I had was slightly over cooked, but vegetables excellent. Everyone enjoyed the dinner. The sales pitch at the end regarding membership is annoying. Our out of town visitors loved the view and the experience. We had plenty of time between the bar & dinner to visit. We will always be back!
The well designed windows make the most of the beautiful waterfront setting of the Chart House. The food was tasty and well prepared. Half of our party of ten was served and there was a significant delay before the rest of our group was served. This was apparently caused by some confusion in the kitchen. This was addressed by the manager and our group was satisfied with his explanation. Despite this bump in the road our experience was quite positive. Everyone on our group would return and would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.
It was our 1st timing dinning with The chart house. And we had a wonderful experience. The views were breathtaking. And the food with delicious. Our appetizer was the calamari, which was mixed with a great sauce. Next I had the lobster, and he had the shrimp and scallops, we finished everything! And last but not least was the lava cake. But the melted chocolate cake on the side, and not inside the cake, which would have been better. But the ice cream was also good. I would definitely go here again.
Bland, bland food.
My parents came her before for anniversary and really enjoyed it, this time not so much.
excellent service...our waiter Christian was awesome.
The mushroom side and hot bread was nice.
Really thank the Chart House for the Birthday dessert, it was delicious!
Have liked Chart house for years but may choose another one in the future.
Once again, a great meal and great service at the Chart House! Started off with the best Oysters Rockefeller I’ve ever eaten (not on the menu but they make them if asked). My husband lives for their oyster chowder so he was in heaven with his order. For entrees it’s hard for us not to get the Ahi tuna - always perfectly prepared. Our server, Phyllis, was her usual fabulous self! She takes good care of us whenever we go there. Can’t wait for our next reservation!!
As someone who has lived in Annapolis for over a year and enjoyed its dining scene, this Eastport gem was a delightful surprise! It's got a gorgeous interior, an extensive array of seafood and other dishes from which to choose, phenomenal views of the water, and a glorious wine list! The service was impeccable, and they've got a specific gluten-free menu available, with many appealing starters and entrees. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!
