Everything was great except the Snapper Hemingway. I'd have preferred fish sticks at home to what we both had as an expensive entree. Can't beat the Chart House ambiance, view or bar. Dinner was disappointing but didn't ruin the evening.
Was given a gift card for Christmas, wife and I had a night out with no children so we decided to use it. We arrived early and sat at the bar had a few drinks while we waited. Drinks were decent, a little light for the money imo. When we were seated our server introduced herself and disappeared for 10 min. Then came back and disappeared again. Finally took our order and didn't see her again till she brought the food out.
Wife ordered prime rib medium (I told her not to get prime rib she like her steak well done) it came out what I would consider rare (how I would have ordered the prime rib) but she ate it, wasn't happy about it though. I got oysters Rockefeller they were decent. Had a lot of grit in them from bad opening technique. I also got the stuffed flounder which was very good.
All and all the atmosphere was good for a "romantic" date but the price was not worth it for the food. A few drinks, an appetizer dinner and dessert and we were into it for $195 with tip. We could have gone to fishermans for the same exact thing for less than $100.
The Bartender was very polite and professional and was prompt in service
very underimpressed. Food way overpriced, and not extremely tasty
We had a wonderful dining experience at the Chart House. They are one of our favorites. We went there New Years Eve, too and enjoyed a wonderful dinner! Always great service. Last night our server was Erin and she was very pleasant and accommodating making our evening even more enjoyable.
Service could have been better, our server was not prompt with refills on water or bread rarely check to see if we were doing Ohk. Other than that, we had a good dinning experience.
This place is a regular place for me. Either alone or with a date/guest. Salad bar is excellent. View is nice, and a couple gas fireplaces makes it cozy in winter months. Great view of water.
I had dinner at the bar and was pleasantly surprised to find that you have Happy Hour on Sunday. It was a nice time and I got to see “The Catch”....Stephon Diggs! 😯
The Chart House was amazing, once again. The wife and I had a cozy table right next to one of their fireplaces on a very cold night. Server was attentive and very friendly. There was a slight delay with our food and even though we never complained a bit, the manager and server both apologized profusely. Ultimately the manager compd are entire bill, again without a single complaint from us. They hold themselves to a high standard even when their customers don't mind a slight hickup. This shows the high level of service they expect to provide to every guest. We will definitely go back!
Unfortunately we had a dreadful dinner, the service was extremely poor from the start. We ordered cocktails and a beer. The beer bottle was placed on the table, no glass, no offer of a glass. We had to wait 1.5 hours for dinner to be served after ordering in a timely fashion. Once dinner was served is was apparent that the plates had been sitting for awhile. All 4 dinners were cool, the salmon was extremely dry and tough, with a few drops of the mustard sauce, the fingerling potatoes were hard and cold, they were difficult to cut with a knife, obviously they had been sitting for a while and re-heated many times. The rice on the other plates was cold. The rockfish special was also cold. A very expensive disappointing meal.
