Food was cold , service was slow .would not recommend
Delicious food but the menu had typo, and when some menu items were not as expected based on typos, server did nothing to fix
Chart House was great overall! It was exactly what I was looking for in an upscale date restuarant. Beautiful view and we could even see our condo across the water! Will definitely be going here again. Our waiter Joshua was awesome as well.
Only problem I had, and it could have been easily solved if I asked, was where we sat. We were right behind the waiter stand where their computer is. It was constantly busy with people and felt crowded. Not a big deal.
Enjoyed a wonderful experience including everything from each course to the wine, to our professional and knowledgeable service. We’ll be back for sure.
The child’s menu hamburger isn’t very appealing to children. More like an adult burger. And the swordfish and salmon were dry and the veggies they came with were also dry and not very flavorful. Good drinks. And nice service.
Good and service was excellent
Beautiful view , great place to celebrate a special occasion
The setting was beautiful. The fireplace was warming and the view enchanting. Our service was very good and included a wonderful dessert for my wife's birthday at no charge. The steak was a top three in my lifetime and I have had some great steaks. It was a delightful dinner.
Service at the Chart House in Annapolis over the phone and in-person is excellent. Very friendly & welcoming staff. The Annapolis location has a BEAUTIFUL ambience....absolutely relaxing and beautiful near the water and boats. BUT....our steak and shrimp dinner was awful. Waaayyyyyy too over- cooked, burned. Never had that issue with a steak dinner at the Alexandria location. But, all and all, I will go back, just for the beautiful view, but this time, I will stick with just soup and seafood. LOL
Amazing experience with Paul. Thank you very much!
Great love the Chart House
Wonderful as usual.
Our server was amazing! We really liked her and she took great care of us. We also signed-up for a membership. Chart House Annapolis can't be beat. We take our kids and they love the fireplaces.
Excellent service! Delicious and perfect guidance from our waiter! Thank you!
Service was excellent and courses came out slowly giving our table lots of time to enjoy catching up and cocktails. Food was delicious as usual
requested a window table, restaurant was half empty and I was seated at a table in a back dark corner. I requested to move to a booth near the fire, which was accommodated. Not sure why I was given the worst table when the restaurant was not busy.
Very awesome experience & great server! Ambience was amazing.
Great New Years Eve Experience. Short wait. Peyton, our server, was AMAZING! Knew the menu well. Explained everything and helped with any changes. Fireworks were an amazing touch. Will definitely be back.
New Year’s Eve! Our first outing in 2 years. Excellent food and service. Not overwhelmingly crowded - a good thing in this omicron era of the COVID pandemic.
Great time. Took awhile to get served. Steak was fatty/not good but for price (NY Strip).
The service was exceptional and the food was the best I have had at the Chart House
Came to celebrate New Years. Service is always on point! Food is delicious! One of our favorite restaurants in Annapolis!
great dining experience, server was excellent and prompt with all of needs.
Bartender made us great old fashioned cocktails.
even with covid the staff was on its game, the view is spectacular.
we will be back for sure
This was a beautiful venue. The food was perfectly cooked and presented. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We were visiting for a birthday and they made a special effort to make it special.
Incredible night celebrating our 25th anniversary. When we arrived at our table, we received specially-printed menus commemorating our day. The food was fantastic; our waiter was great. Couldn't have asked for a better night.
Chart House has always been a restaurant I enjoyed for special occasions. However, over the past few years, it has become a great place to gather for business meetings, dinner with a friend or Happy Hour. I love the new interior of Chart House in Annapolis and you cannot beat the location for waterfront dining followed by a walk through downtown. It is a place that I enjoy with local friends and family and where I take friends who are visiting from out of town. The menu and wait staff never disappoint!!
Music choice was obnoxious and too loud
Great! Paul was very attentive.
One of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. Will never go back. Menu was horrible as well. Also the place was 1/3 full at best and we were seated at the back corner - food may have been tolerable if we were seated along the water view.
Unfortunately, they seemed very understaffed and I returned most of the 3-course meal for both myself and date. I usually don’t return food, but my food was burnt, bitter, and/or undercooked. The ambiance was nice and the waitress was certainly helpful: I only wish we would have enjoyed our Christmas dinner, even a little.
Christmas dinner: I can’t express how excited I was to go there. Heard great things about the place from my friends in both Baltimore (where we live) and Annapolis. My girlfriend cannot eat seafood, but she was looking forward to the prime rib, the tip top item highlighted loudly on their Xmas menu. Alas, they were out of it when we sat down. I asked the waiter if given the circumstances, could we get two orders of the surf & turf (my gf would have the filet for both), but could I get something other than shrimp for one of the two orders. I know it’s unorthodox and it’s Christmas. At Outback I expect to be told No, so I don’t bother asking. At Ruth Chris, I expect No + excuses & apologies, so I don’t bother asking. From The Chart House’s reputation, I expected an operation on par with The Bygone or NYC establishments. At a minimum I expected a perfunctory declination, as disappointing as that would’ve been. Shame on me for expecting as much. Instead I was met with a passive aggressive power trip. I didn’t ask for a manager, just left, ate cold 7/11 sandwiches on the ride back north and saved a few hundred dollars. Who is John Galt?
The Christmas menu was good. Our bisque was not hot, barely warm. Same with entree. No bread for us until our entree came. Table across from us got bread. Waiter described it as a “bread crisis”. Waiter was great & we were seated early which was a plus.
Our server was extremely nice and did her job well. The dinner I ordered was sub-par. The prime rib and potatoes were cold. I sent them back and they were returned overcooked
A real disappointment for Christmas dinnet
The ambiance was very festive and cozy. The staff were very helpful and attentive but the food was not up to par especially for the price. The food was extra salty. I had the grilled salmon and vegetables; it tasted like it was swimming in salt that I couldn’t taste the food but salt. Also the calamari was extra salty and not enjoyable. The mini lava cake dessert was amazing hence the 3 stars for the food without that it would have been a 1 star for food.
I went for Christmas dinner and everything was great!
It’s Christmas Day so I expected more and typically do from the Chart House. With a 3 course meal i would think that service would be fairly good. Our reservation was at 5:15. We sat at 5:20. Our waiter got our order and filled our water at 5:45. The soup came around 6. The lobster bisque had so much wine in it, it was very difficult to get down. Food came around 6:30. Scallops and a surf and turf. Scallops were room temp and The filet was ordered rare, it was extremely dry, not juicy at all, and the shrimp we’re tough. The accompanying potatoes we’re dry and cold. Dessert came around 7:10. The cheesecake was amazing. The lava cake was dry and cooked through, more of a cake like brownie consistency. No molten chocolate center. Our waiter filled our waters once before our entree came and never again, we ended up eating all the ice in our glasses. Not the Christmas dinner we planned on. Certainly not for the price. We didn’t get the check until 7:25. . It was a great view, maybe if our glasses we’re kept filled, the poor food and service wouldn’t have been as noticeable.
We were there for Christmas Day dinner. It was very crowded but our service nor food quality was diminished. Michelle, our server, was wonderful! Personable, attentive, professional, and just wonderful! It was a prix fixe holiday menu that offered a nice array of choices that were well worth the price of the dinner. My only complaint is that I WAY over ate!!! But I guess that can be construed as a compliment to the chef. Both my husband and I were very pleased.
Restaurants are coping with uniquely bad conditions, and the Chart House in Annapolis is doing their best. But sorry to say Christmas dinner was a disappointment. Bless them for being open on Christmas, but the place was crowded, no space between tables, and the food was nowhere near their usual quality. Servers tried to keep up, but with so many patrons the food arrived late and cold. I feel like we did our part to support the restaurant industry - at the possible expense of our health!
Very crowded and loud. I understand that all businesses are short on staff but maybe don't fill up all the tables compared to the amount of servers there are. We waited a long time for each item. Even reordering drinks was difficult.
