I took my sister to Chart House for her birthday. It was our first time there. The food was EXCELLENT EXCELLENT and plentiful. So plentiful that we got full off the appetizers. BEST calamari ever. The lava cake was just sinfully delicious! The other person in our party had been there, and she had nothing but good things to say about Chart House too. Ambiance was excellent. We sat next to the window that looked out over the water. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ended up leaving her a 30% gratuity.
Wonderful mean and great service from Crystal! Sat outside on a beautiful day while in town for a conference. Had the gazpacho, which was one of the best I’ve ever have had. Have traveled to Spain and this beat there’s! Ordered shrimp tacos that were blackened. I like my tortillas soft and these were slightly hard but still wonderful. Then we splurged on our diet and had the trio of ice cream. Apple/Brandy, home maid strawberry and blood orange. All were wonderful and presented in a way to cleanse the palite! Thanks and will definitely visit more CH’s, haven’t in a long time.. Great Job!!
I booked online and stated it was our anniversary but I just wish it was something special added to the dinner. It was not so I was a little disappointed.
Everything was delicious! Our service was great. I would highly recommend the Chart House in Alexandria.
The food was respectable with a heavy nod to seafood. The service was good. The dining pace was appropriate. Nice view of the river. However, the overall experience was diminished based on being seated at a table that was too small for the size of our party. It was not a fluke. A quick look around indicates it's by design. So beware if you have a party of six (especially if any diner is not svelte) as they just cram a chair on each end of a 4 top. I am sure they would call it cozy. I call it trying to maximize your dining room seating and create incremental profit by placing a low regard on the comfort of your patrons. The person who sat us just shrugged her shoulders and said: "I don't assign the seating."
My fiancee' and I walked by it many times and talked about going, so we finally made a reservation for Valentine's Day weekend. The food was delicious, the view was gorgeous, and the service was outstanding. Pricey, but definitely worth it.
It was enjoyable. Lunch was good and service was nice.
The service was a slow to start, with appologies; OK later. Our view was good. The food for all at the table was fantastic!
Great food and wonderful atmosphere. The Chart House is where we go for special occasions and it never disappoints us!
Chris was an exceptional waiter. The food was phenomenal! From start to finish it was by far one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The Chart House really made it memorable for my wife's birthday by personalizing our menu! Chart House Manager (Sarah) sealed the deal by visiting our table a few times and ensuring the very best service and experience was served that night! +10 rating with the best reviews all around.
We had a delightful lunch at Chart House today! Two of us shared three appetizers: crab cake, coconut shrimp and fried artichokes, then shared a large spinach salad. Since we were celebrating my birthday, they surprised us with a slice of mud pie. The crab cake and coconut shrimp appetizers were particularly delicious, but everything else was also excellent. The whole experience was enjoyable and was enhanced by Porscha's exceptional service and the beautiful, sunlit fire room.
Overall good experience
