Both of us had the cream of crab, Atlantic salmon with rice and roasted veggies, and key lime pie for dessert. Portions were generous for lunch --- in fact, we were sorry we hadn't split a single order of key lime pie. Our server was perfect. Attentive but not hovering. I absolutely loved my food, though it could have used a bit more spice and herbs. We had window seating, and the half-frozen river offered a rather exotic appearance. Looking forward to returning!

Attended to celebrate two birthdays just days apart. The food was very good and we were seated by a window overlooking the Potomac. The Service was fantastic. Chart House is a good place to celebrate special occasions.

Celebrated my husband's birthday here. He loved it. The food was lovely and my shellfish allergy was accommodated without any fuss... big deal to us. The atmosphere was really nice. Our only complaint was that we sat by the window and it was really cold.

The Chart House, Alexandria has the most wonderful location, on the river front. It is ideal to get a window table in winter or pick outdoor seating in warmer weather.

I went here with my boyfriend for our 1 year anniversary and it was fabulous!!! They gave us menus dedicated for our anniversary and we were seated exactly where I asked in my note to the staff. Our waitress was wonderful and was very attentive while also giving us the perfect amount of space when we were deciding on our meals. Will definitely come here again. If you’re deciding on a special occasion diner definitely request the fire place room.

We came here to celebrate my parents' birthdays. We very much enjoyed the experience. The view is beautiful. The food was delicious. The service was terrific. The place is definitely expensive, but for a special occasion I think it was worth it.

A little pricey, but the food is good. Waitress was a bit over eager at times, but that's better than being ignored. Chart House is one of our dependable places when we have friends visiting.

Went here to treat my boyfriend for part of his Christmas gift and he loved it! He also loves the water so he made sure to see the view from where he was sitting. I would say the prices are up there in price but the taste is great! I tried the crab dip which was pretty good & my boyfriend absolutely favored the oysters Rockefeller (I believe it’s called). He said he wished they were bottomless so he could just eat more & more lol. Altogether the food was very hot which is awesome & very glad he enjoyed the restaurant. 😊

Our waitress was amazing. But to start the male hostess came to the bar area to get us then went over to a young women sitting alone and started hitting on her and made us wait to take us to our table... not very professional. Clam chowder was amazing, cheese plate awful, calamari yummy.

The Chart House was interesting. The price point and the quality of the food were a little disappointing. I got the shrimp and scallops with corn and gnocchi. I guess I was not expecting canned corn, and the Candy Corn seem to be plentiful. Still, it was Christmas Day and I imagine that the staff was totally overworked. The Ambiance of the Chart House is very special. The service was fair. I just felt the food should have been a little better for the price point.

Beautiful waterfront scenery across from the National Harbor at night while partaking of excellent seafood or steak dinner. Our server was very attentive, with a sense of humor, and the food was delicious.

Chart House Alexandria was lovely. My family went for the first time for our annual Christmas dinner, and it did not disappoint. The scenic views, appetizers, specialty drinks, dinner, and atmosphere were amazing. Thank you for being a part of making our family Christmas dinner very special.

Chart House is a dependable staple in Old Town Alexandria with superb views of the Potomac River. The salad bar has a wide selection of items, including some you don't find in other restaurants, like caviar with fixins' and hearts of palm. Seafood selections are plentiful and presented in unusual and visually appealing ways. My crab legs (the most expensive item on the menu) had a wonderful flavor, although they were cooked a little too much which made them hard to crack open. The signature dessert, chocolate lava cake, was moist and quite delicious - worth the calories! Our server, Alyssa, was friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a good experience!

We were very disappointed in the prime rib . We had two orders and it was very mediocre.
The wait staff was excellent . The bathrooms needed servicing . Parking was convenient.
We would opt to try a different restaurant before coming back . The value was not
good for the amount we spent . The Bloody Mary was very weak .

The service is what makes this restaurant exceptional. Even when the staff had to work on Christmas, they were attentive and made us feel like we were the only customers in the room. The seafood was delicious, if a bit uninspired. No creative chefs here. But it was perfect for diners who want more traditional food.

I was there for a holiday dinner and it was delicious. From the salad bar, the caviar, anchovies and artichoke hearts are my favorites. The service from Molly was superb, she was helpful and her timing for serving courses was perfect.

The Ahi tuna was done exactly as I ordered.

Thanks to all for a wonderful dinner experience.
