   The warming reception when we arrived was very appreciative!! We thought we were off to an amazing start but service with beverages, apps and dinner could not have been much worse:( My filet was supposed to be medium rare but was well done!!! The fish was good for my sister and the lamb good too but extremely slow to show up! Plenty of servers there must have been a kitchen issue! Especially with it being beginning of the summer season….. Desert was incredibly slow as well! All and all not sure where the Pitt fall was but not sure I could recommend you, sorry! I can’t waste food so ate the filet but really at The Chart House??

   WE HAD A NEW SERVER, BUT HE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND DETAILED. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE DRINKS WERE WONDERFUL! WE SAT IN THE LIGHTHOUSE AND ENJOYED THE VIEW FOR OUR 6TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER.

   Hosted a business dinner here this evening. The views are always spectacular and the food is usually delicious. Tonight, it was just the views. The food was mediocre. Then, it was served in phases so the people that rec’d their food first, waited for the others to get their food (out of courtesy), meanwhile their meals got cold. Lastly, I had one of the people in our party comment about how the restroom looked like it hadn’t been tended to in quite a while. Unfortunately disappointing overall.

   Service was a bit slow, but the food possessed its normal excellence. Always enjoy my visit to the Chart House.

   Had to send a filet back and it took an extremely long time for the replacement. It arrived as the other entrees were being finished.

   Unfortunately food was just okay. My husband and I decided to dine at Chart House in Alexandria to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. I wish we had dined elsewhere as the food was mediocre. My husband had the blackened halibut which was the special for the evening, it was unseasoned. I did not taste any blackening at all and it lacked basic salt. I had the seafood bouillabaisse and while it wasn’t bad, it was not great. I would not order it again. I’ve had this dish at Black Salt in D.C. and it blows me away. Guess we should have gone to Black Salt. There was no mention made of anniversary celebration… why ask if there’s a special occasion when taking the reservation if you don’t honor it in some way. We will remove Chart House from our list of favorites.

   Hoped for a nice experience for Mothers Day. Meal was slow (2.5 hours from sitting down), waiter was curt and later explained he was new and the food was just okay- not hot in some cases.

    Mother’s Day menu. 2 people. Entrees served 10 minutes apart. Fish very spicy. Manager did offer to change order. Server not very attentive. Service was slow. Not very crowded. Provided incorrect check at end. Excellent deserts. Was hoping for better experience.
