    Nice restuarant located on the banks of the Potomac River . Great views of the river and Alexandria is a nice place to visit . Food was good , service was good, and the price was fair . Fun atmosphere although you will hear and see airplanes flying in and out of DCA

    My wife and I celebrated our anniversary so when I made my reservation, I said so. The Chart House printed Happy Anniversary my last name on our menu. It was just a nice touch above all the other services. Food was wonderful and service was outstanding.

    Took my girlfriend for anniversary dinner and it was very disappointing. I had to ask the wait for water multiple times. My drink came out and it took her drink 30 minutes to come and by then my drink was watered down. I asked the waiter what was going on and he said they only have one bard tender working. With prices this high, you would think a restaurant would have the right number of staff for a Sunday Evening in June. No one came to apologize. The Halibut fish was horrible. Not cooked correctly and just awful. I was looking forward to trying Charthouse again after not being there in 15 years and it was a major dissapointment.

    Should have made it a dinner, the lunch menu was okay. spent $400 and didn’t feel as though it was anything special. no cherry in the shirley temple for the kids. didn’t expect a song an dance but maybe an acknowledgement.

    Really disappointing lunch. You’d expect a restaurant that serves prime rib to have an awesome French dip but it was average at best. Served with an anemic amount of fries and a horseradish mayo that wasn’t mentioned in the description. They offered us dessert for the inconvenience, and we had mud pie which had almonds - also not mentioned on the menu! I expected a bit more from an established chain like this.

    I hadn’t been to chart house in a few years but the recent experience was very bad. Our server was friendly but service was terrible. My fiancé ordered a drink off their menu, but they were out. That’s fine, not a huge deal. We then ordered other drinks and they took forever. When finally placing our order, I had questions about the sides for a couple meals. The server went to check and probably took over 10 minutes to return to our table. I ordered the blue cheese butter sauce for my steak, but I was told after ordering that they were out of this. I substituted a chimichirri but that never came with the meal. Appetizers took forever. Meals were delivered by a food runner but steaks didn’t come with steak knives. Had to chase someone down for these as the server never came back. She finally retuned long after we had eaten. I used the restroom and the first two stalls didn’t have any toilet paper. Check came but we were charged for the item we never received. Sadly I’ll never be back.

    Once again, the Chart House never fails in provided excellent location to go for meals. Service by a new waiter was excellent. Food was tops.

    Fantastic large group dinner post-graduation. Our server was outstanding!! And the food was excellent. Everything arrived cooked as requested (and we had a group of 10 with lots of special requests). Everyone ordered appetizer and main course, and all arrived just as ordered and hot. Drinks were replenished without asking. It had been nearly 15 years since I'd last visited but we'll be back again soon.
