Chart House - Atlantic City Ratings and Reviews
Overall, my experience at this location was awesome. The staff were very friendly, the restaurant was clean and beautiful, and the food was delivered timely and delicious. My only quarrel is, towards the end of our dining experience another group was seated right next to us that was rather loud and obscene. Our waiter still handled us well and even seemed a little embarrassed concerning the group. All in all we enjoyed ourselves.
I wanted to order the swordfish but they were out of it. As a substitute, I ordered the snapper. It was over cooked and had a bone in it. Not what I typically expect from Chart House. There are no Chart Houses in my area anymore. Being one of my favorite restaurants, I look forward to dining at one when out of town. DISAPPOINTED
Reached a bit early. Sat at the bar and the drinks and the bartender were both very good. The hostess was very pleasant when she escorted us to the table. Had a table at the waterfront. We ordered seafood , salad and onion soup. Everything was just right. The service was very good. Overall we had great experience. We have been to the Chart house in Philadelphia, but this was definitely much better. Good place for quiet birthday, anniversary or a romantic date.
We had a wonderful dinner at The Chart House in Atlantic City. Our waiter was very attentive and had a good sense of humor. All changes we made to our entrees from how it was offered on the menu were handled properly and without a problem. We would definitely return to this restaurant for a special occasion or for a nice dinner.
The food was amazing! Shrimp cocktail , snapper Hemingway i had, my husband had coconut shrimp. All delicious . Few cocktail each all good. Service great. Nice atmosphere also . Wish bar area was larger so can get seat while waiting for table , there was also some lounge tables but all filled. But it was a saturday . Cant wait to go again
The meal and service were excellent as usual. My only complaint is with GARLIC mashed potatoes. Not everyone likes garlic and I always have to pay extra to substitute a baked potato. I would expect a restaurant of this caliber would freely accommodate their customer's preferences.
Great meal on New Year's Eve . Just slightly overpriced but worth it. It was nice to be able to select off of their regular menu instead of having a "Special Menu" for New Year's Eve. There is a nice view of Atlantic City and the marina. We live nearby and frequently visit the Golden Nugget. The best food is at the Chart House.
Delicious food, good service and a nice atmosphere made for a fantastic night out. The lobster bisque is the best we have ever had, oysters clean and properly presented, and the veal was so tender and flavorful. Never a bad experience at the Chart House and the consistency reflects no matter which location you choose.
The food was very good, the ambiance was also very good, we told them in advance it was for a Birthday Celebration but no acknowledgement on it. But I guess I didn't need another dessert.. all in all I would still come back as I enjoyed the dinner as well as my companion. Thanking you hope to see you soon. Sincerely Mrs. P A
Not a good experience for Christmas Dinner. We expected a better quality but was disappointed. Onion soup. Had at a previous time was horrible this time. My sea bass ok but side of fettuccine inedible. A table side drink... a joke. We left stating to each other we would not be back. Huge disappointment. Even went wrong with a simple pear salad. .
MY WIFE AND I HAVE SPENT THE LAST 2 YEARS HERE FOR CHRISTMAS EVE, FEAST OF THE 7 FISH THE SERVICE WAQS TERRIBLE WAITED AT THE TABLE 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE WAITER CAME OVER, SUCH A HEAVY ACCENT HARD TO UNDERSTAND, MY WIFE ORDERED THE 7 FISHES AND I HAD A FILET, FISH WAS OVERCOOKED AND MY FILET WAS LIKE A PIECE OF LEATHER ALL THE WAITER KEPT TELLING US WE ARE VERY BUSY NOT A GOOD EXCUSE FOR A TOP NOTCH RESTURANT, I WON''T BE BACK
The worst experience in a restaurant I have ever had! My husband ordered a filet medium cook. The first attempt looked like a crime scene when my husband cut into it. We had to track down our server because he did no wait to see if the filet was the proper temperature. He basically dropped the plate and walked off. The sever took the filet back to the kitchen returning in about 15 minutes, dropped the plate again and walked off. They re-fired the same filet! Therefore the cut side was well done and guess what? The other side was still rare! My husband went and tracked down the manger. She came to the table and explained that one side was well due to the filet being cut. Really? So why re-fire the same piece of meat knowing this is going to be the result? The manager assured us she would get it right. In the mean time I have not touched my diner because I am waiting for my husband to be served. Approximately 20 minutes passed before the manager returned with a new filet. She stayed and waited for my husband to cut into the filet; the look on her face was stunned as she looked at the cold, raw center of the filet. At this point we gave up. The manager stated you will not have to pay for your meal. What meal?? We ate nothing!! It was Christmas Eve and there was no where to get reservations at 8:45pm! In addition our reservations were for 7:00pm and we did not get seated until 7:20pm. If I wanted to wait I would not make a reservation. I'm just blown away. I have had better service with a properly cooked piece of meet at Outback; Something this restaurant and staff could not accomplish with multiple attempts. I had better luck on the Craps table.
Excellent marina view, excellent food, typically priced for a casino upscale restaurant. Service was very good but the waitstaff is not as attentive as they are at Vic and Anthony's. Everyone is very nice, though. Highly recommend the Kim Chee Calamari for an appetizer. All of the food was delicious, promptly served, and hot. I would recommend the Chart House for a special occasion dinner.
The service was fine, the only issue we had was one of our steak was under cook but didn't return it because we don't like recook steak and the server wasn't around at the time either. may I suggest the server should come and check on us a few minutes after the main course was serve not almost till the end.
Have dined at Chart House previously and also go to Happy Hour occasionally. This was a Sunday evening and “off season”. Our reservation was as scheduled, no wait, and our window request was graciously honored. The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent - I had the chicken as I do not eat seafood and took half Home. Salad was fresh with mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes - tomatoes did not look good at all and I almost skipped eating them- but they were delicious! We split a slice of cheesecake which I did not care for , but we come from the NY area and cheesecake is different there😎
