The food was excellent and the restaurant was beautiful We were very surprised about the service. It took an hour for our entrees to arrive and no one came to our table during that hour with water. We were literally searching for a server for about 25 minutes just to get an update. The restaurant was empty at the time.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary for dinner. The service was impeccable, great staff, ambiance, great food. We well most definitely go back. The food is expensive, but well worth it.

The restaurant is just beautiful. The food -- every single thing -- was outstanding. The service was exceptional. We've been to all of the "top" kosher steak places in Lakewood and NYC -- this is our favorite.

The service was outstanding! Main dishes were really good, we had the duck (serving on the small side) and the cowboy steak (didnt look like your traditional cowboy steak, was slces very thinly but perfectly cooked and delicious), apple cobbler was very good, drinks were ok.

I have been to Char q quite a few times and decided to bring my father last night ( his first time )for dinner for a birthday. I have no problem paying top dollar for good food, but when you are paying $600 for dinner on a party of 4 and you are receiving flatbread that had zero lamb on it with hummus that was so dried up from sitting out to $ 100 steak that was so burnt ( asked for medium ) and felt like it was left out and reheated ... to mashed potatoes that tasted like it was instant from a bag, that is not what quality is. You want to classify your restaurant as a 5 star restaurant, you need to serve it like it is and deliver food that is quality. The service was far from ok. had to chase down the waitress several times... I dont know what has changed since 2 months prior, but i can tell you that it was one of the worst dining experiences that i have had especially when you are paying that much.

VERY expensive, but I definitely feel like you get what you pay for. Maybe a once a year type visit, which is a shame because everything really was fantastic. If prices were lower I’d go more often for special occasions, but I do not feel like it was a ripoff. If you want to impress a date or family and friends, this is a great place.

Outstanding!! The food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Fall is here and the menu has definitely matched the season. Next week I plan on trying the chicken which the chef personally recommended. When you go, order the Bao! It's delicious and it must not be removed from the menu!

A little pricy but a nice change from the usual. Service was polite ,efficient and attentive. Interesting and creative menus. Everyone in our party of 6 were pleased with their meal selections. Presentation was attractive and sauces memorable. The peach cobbler was the perfect ending to a great meal. A salad was plenty to share as well was the outstanding coliflower The potion of the special pasta app was a bit light for sharing. The ambiance of the dining room was upscale and hot modernistic.Staff we’re interestingly dressed in all black including black vinyl gloves. We had a great experience and may return to celebrate a special occasion.

This restaurant is amazing, incredible and unbelievable. This is my favorite place to be every week and it never disappoints. The menu never gets stale, and there are always new things being added & adjusted. I am so happy I found this place and cannot wait to continue to be a patron.

Service was impressive. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable on all aspects of the menu. Food was delicious from starters, appetizers, desserts and drinks. Any nice restaurant is expensive these days so the high cost was expected. Would definitely recommend!

The food was really amazing and so was the service. One thing I noticed was the noise level was insane! High ceilings + many people = couldn’t hear myself think…other than that it was really great!
