I was somewhat reluctant to have dinner in a Hotel restaurant, but I LOVED everything about Charlotte. Our waitress, Gloria, was top notch. Almost every dish was surprising, beautiful, and so good. The view was terrific. This is a hidden gem.

Breakfast was nice. Dinner was mediocre at best and overpriced. Upon arrival they informed us that the octopus was no longer available. We ordered the broccolini, the endive "salad", and the seafood gnocchi. None of these appetizers were good. The gnocchi sauce felt as if from a jar. Mussels were not open and we were told by the waiter not to eat the one that was completely closed (but that we could try to pry open the others). The black cod tasted of oil. On the plus side the desserts were great - we had the white chocolate soufflé and the flour less chocolate cake.

4 course meal was great! For appetizer, octopus was delicious. Soup was a little bit salty. For entrees, we prefer Porkchop over Steak. Severs were super friendly and seats were comfy!

Service is slow, and lots of excuses for everything that goes wrong. Ridiculously expensive. Breakfast for 4 is between 150 and 180 USD (not for the week, for a single breakfast).

We sent back 4 of our 8 plates. The pappardelle was so thick we were able to hold the plate almost upside down and it didn’t move within seconds of it being served. This was after it was brought more than 5 minutes after the other main courses were served. We also ordered the soup and the waitress made it table side. It was so gloopy that she had to shake the container to get it to come out. The food is overpriced, the quality is unserviceable and the entire wait staff, except for Devin who was very kind and awesome, was cold, disinterested and rude. The restaurant has an amazing view and somehow even that seemed messed up because of how poor everything else was. Very disappointing!!

The server was never stop by how things are and I had to call them to order another drink. I got a charged for service fee and additional tips because I didn’t know about the service fee. End it up paying over 50%. Disappointed and never go back

Terrible service and wait times even with a reservation. Gratuity is added to every check, so there’s no incentive to have a sense of urgency with anything. The food was good but nothing special, you could get the same thing almost anywhere else that does brunch and pay a lot less for it. You’re paying for the views that 4 tables have. Won’t be coming back to this place.

Was incredibly disappointed . Every plate disappointed. Started with the word “broccoli “ salad I may have ever spent money on. The rest looked great but fell short. Only highlight was the squash and some of the best bread I’ve had in a while. Any ever see recommending or coming back again.

Took my gf there for her bday. we had the prix fixe menu 4 courses. The octopus was delicious. however, the main courses were very mid. I had the black cod...it was pretty salty. My gf had the wagyu NY steak. Waitress couldn't really tell us where the beef was from, she assumed Australia. The steak was rather tough and really didn't have any wagyu flavor. I would describe it as a really well seasoned Choice grade to be honest. The seared foie gras was serve room temp, not my fav. But service was exceptional and drinks were pretty good. I would probably do another visit but just in the lounge for happy hour.

Everything was fantastic. with the late summer sunsets, the place doesn't get "romantic" enough until they turn the lights down since the open floor plan, so it's pretty bright even through 9pm.

First, food was great. No complaints and very tasty. Service is not to my expectations for high end hotel. It was Sunday brunch and they simply did not have enough servers to accommodate Sunday brunch. Everything was served very slow and it feels like the entire service protocol has not been settled down as the restaurant and the hotel is relatively still new. Also, I have been making reservations with window seating request. I understand it is not guaranteed, but it does not seem they even make an effort to do so. When I check in, they don’t even know I made the request. Not sure if this the way how upscale restaurant should operate. Hope they improve the service as the ambiance of the restaurant is very pleasant.

Service was very slow, we didn’t get things we asked for, and portion sizes on main courses for brunch varied quite bit. The food did taste good and was pretty! The ambiance is beautiful but the experience was lacking😔

Incredibly slow service during brunch. Took almost an hour to get our food and then we had to ask for the check twice. The food was good but not worth the wait. Also, they add a 20% service charge which we did not feel was justified. Probably will not be coming back.
