   I love the setting and have enjoyed all the previous times I've been here for dinner, brunch, in the lounge. However, this business lunch was not that great.. It took nearly 25 minutes until our orders were taken. Food was ok. Although I found a hair at the bottom of my food. Our bill included another tables order.. don't know how that happened. Luckily, it was caught AFTER I was charged to my card.. Not sure if I'll do another business lunch here.

   The food presentation was unique and flavor delicious. Our server, Gene, was attentive and helpful. Views were amazing. Prices are high, but the experience is worth it.

   The views, service and general ambiance at Charlotte are fantastic. For the cost, though, the flavors were a bit of a let down. We came for Mother's Day brunch and ordered the crab chowder, steak and eggs and the lobster benedict. The menu also promised a first course, which turned out to be an amuse bouche that was a bit of focaccia bread stuffed with gruyere and truffle. The flavors were nice, but it was also bordering on stale, was not served warm, and tasted as if it had been prepared at the beginning of the morning and served to us at 2:00 that afternoon. The chowder was fine but there was not much depth of flavor and was not as rich as I typically expect from a chowder. My wife did not care for the sauce that the steak was served in (though the steak was cooked well), and the hollondaise sauce on my lobster benedict was so excessively sour that it ruined the dish. The highlight of the meal was the desert buffet. But overall, for a $400 meal (including a child's meal and a few coffees) on a special outing, it was a letdown.

   Beautiful views and beautiful ambiance will come to their walk in lounge again, but the restaurant is a bit of a splurge with some good some bad flavors. The portion sizes are definitely on the smaller and fancier plating style. Would recommend for anyone visiting! There was also live Jazz music and free champagne for a birthday dinner!

   My significant other & I had been staying at the Lotte Hotel to celebrate our birthday. I made a reservation in advance, wrote a special request for a bay side window table & even spoke with the host the day prior before to square away details. Even with doing all of this, they completely dropped the ball. The lackluster service from the waiter also didn’t help and the food was also underwhelming. Given the restaurants upscale image, we expected a more polished and thoughtful dining experience. Solely based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. The lounge is great for drinks though!
