Where Pacific Northwest cuisine takes a contemporary twist. Situated on the 16th floor of Lotte Hotel Seattle, Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge offers sweeping views of Elliott Bay. Imaginative dishes are crafted with fresh and local ingredients, paired perfectly with carefully curated, seasonally-changing cocktails.

Beautiful environment and scenery. Food was fine. Had requested a celebration and a birthday when making reservations that never got translated. But would come back again.

From the moment you step into Charlotte, you’re wrapped in a warmth that feels more like dining at a dear friend’s home than a traditional fine dining experience. The atmosphere leans into connection—elegant yet unpretentious—anchored by a staff whose hospitality is so sincere, it rivals any service I’ve encountered, even in cities known for it. The design strikes a graceful balance between modern sophistication and timeless charm. Art deco lines meet classic textures: sharp geometry softened by carpet inlays and fresh florals that draw the eye through the space. It’s not a room that demands attention—it earns it, quietly. What truly sets Charlotte apart is how it situates you within the city skyline, not looking up at it, perched on a nest, for the evening. Encircled by floor-to-ceiling windows, we dined with Seattle. At 7 p.m, spring’s golden hour washed the space in hues of apricot and amber—echoed by the décor: light wood, warm beige, and soft whites. It was a living painting of the skyline and sunset, best enjoyed from the comfort of your seat. The menu nods to refinement without pretension. Their seared scallops, foie gras, and steak were all beautifully prepared. The scallops stood out: crisp-edged and buttery inside. Plating was elegant but never fussy—every dish felt thoughtfully made, but approachable. Special thanks to Daniel, whose wit, warmth, and care turned a memorable meal into something unforgettable. He doesn’t just serve—he hosts in the truest sense. Charlotte is lucky to have him, and my experience is forever unforgettable because of his excellence service and pride in his work. Whether you’re staying at the Lotte or marking a special occasion, Charlotte is a crown jewel in Seattle’s dining scene. Come for the view, stay for the flavors, and leave feeling like part of something special.

This is a gem of a restaurant. The interior is so beautiful, the views are stunning, and the ambience is lovely and warm. The green salad was a fan favorite at our table, the beef fillet was cooked to perfection, and the black sesame cake was surprising and delightful. My group was gathered for a small wedding shower. I can’t speak highly enough of our server, Michele, who helped me set up our table beautifully before everyone arrived. She also took note of the bride and bride’s names and surprised us at the end of our meal with a complimentary dessert inscribed with a congratulatory message.

Best filet mignon in Seattle. An elegant fine dining restaurant with beautiful views of the bay and the city. Excellent service and the live jazz music during dinner is real nice.

I love the setting and have enjoyed all the previous times I've been here for dinner, brunch, in the lounge. However, this business lunch was not that great.. It took nearly 25 minutes until our orders were taken. Food was ok. Although I found a hair at the bottom of my food. Our bill included another tables order.. don't know how that happened. Luckily, it was caught AFTER I was charged to my card.. Not sure if I'll do another business lunch here.

The food presentation was unique and flavor delicious. Our server, Gene, was attentive and helpful. Views were amazing. Prices are high, but the experience is worth it.

The views, service and general ambiance at Charlotte are fantastic. For the cost, though, the flavors were a bit of a let down. We came for Mother's Day brunch and ordered the crab chowder, steak and eggs and the lobster benedict. The menu also promised a first course, which turned out to be an amuse bouche that was a bit of focaccia bread stuffed with gruyere and truffle. The flavors were nice, but it was also bordering on stale, was not served warm, and tasted as if it had been prepared at the beginning of the morning and served to us at 2:00 that afternoon. The chowder was fine but there was not much depth of flavor and was not as rich as I typically expect from a chowder. My wife did not care for the sauce that the steak was served in (though the steak was cooked well), and the hollondaise sauce on my lobster benedict was so excessively sour that it ruined the dish. The highlight of the meal was the desert buffet. But overall, for a $400 meal (including a child's meal and a few coffees) on a special outing, it was a letdown.
