Nestled in the lobby of the historic landmark building the Clock Tower—formerly a piano factory—Charlies Bar & Kitchen offers New American cuisine in an intimate neighborhood setting. Our food philosophy is one of simple elegance and freshness. We accomplish this by using local purveyors and farm fresh sustainable ingredients.

Our cocktails are made using only the finest spirits and best ingredients. We count the times we shake or stir to ensure the perfect mix without excessive dilution and the result is the perfect cocktail. We take our cocktails seriously and each is made with care and love.

Great brunch menu. The chicken & waffles was absolutely delicious and our waiter was very attentive and kept our glasses filled during the bottomless brunch! music was on point and overall enjoyed myself!

Really great to see the Bronx becoming a destination for Bronxites as well as individuals from other areas to come and eat and drink. Usually go to Little Italy on Arthur Avenue. But the South Bronx now has other great places to visit. Charlie's was a breath of fresh air. The food was outstanding as well as the service.

Bill is the best waiter... V is an awesome bartender.... There is another great bartender don't remember her name right now... Manager is great as well... Food is delicious!!

Went for brunch and didn't know they had a dj there. They played the best hiphop from the 90's and early 2000's. Food was good, I had the shrimp and grits and a side biscuit with honey. Everything was delicious. Biscuit could have been a bit softer because with the honey and grits on the biscuit it was still a bit hard. Other than that a nice neighborhood gem to check out. Definitely arrive early because the location can get very bad because of the bruckner and 3rd ave bridge traffic

This restaurant was amazing and catered to the needs of my sister who is in a wheelchair. The vibe, food, and drinks were amazing. The service was a bit slow, but it improved throughout the course of our meal. I do not reccommend going as soon as they open, as they were not prepared when we arrived.

So noisy could only be heard by shouting into ear of person you are dining with. Service slow but food (burgers, chicken, good. Skip the fries. Live music on sat night -jazz like - some good, some ok. Booth needed pillow to compensate for collapse of under structure. Close (five mins drive ) to Yankee stadium. So if you like bar , burgers and loud music, it's for you. Skip if you like the website pics- doesn't meet expectations.
