can't rave enough about this place and we are not even vegan. Great drinks and every plate was outstanding. Best of all were the brussel sprouts but the artichokes and mushroom toast were both a close second. A total winner.
Food was phenomenal. Service was great!! Worth a trip back to Philly (from Maryland) just to eat here!!
Given the circumstances the overall dining experience was fair. I think more could have been done to help the wait staff juggle the large number of tables that caused an overall lag in service. It took 20 minutes for me to get a single cocktail due to the waiter having so many tables and management not stepping in to provide some help.
The food was good. Some dishes better than others. Things often came out warm rather than HOT and some things needed more seasoning as they lacked flavor.
The cocktail was amazing! Although I had to wait a long while for it I really did enjoy it.
Ate inside. Table was in back and bit too close to kitchen, and the restaurant was bit dark. Did not realize from online reservation that the menu was meatless, but we enjoyed the plant based menu and cocktails. Great waiter/service. Fun menu/portions. Tasty food.
Our waiter was amazing! He recommended great good and drinks!
Fabulous experience! Everyone was very friendly and were very enthusiastic about the menu and gave great recs. Can’t wait to go back soon.
Tasty vegan bites and innovative cocktails! Looking forward to returning.
The outdoor space is lovely and the food remains consistent!
The police was out of this world definitely somewhere you would bring a first date like I did! They get five out of 5 stars across the board!
Great cocktails, good food. Outdoor seating was pretty loud, but not the fault of the restaurant (just a case of loud bros).
We had a great experience for my fiancé’s birthday. The staff was kind and cordial, the setting felt private and safe, the drinks were delicious, and the food was absolutely amazing!
We had an outdoor reservation that they could not accommodate for us. They had to seat us inside otherwise our 9:00 reservation could not be honored and we’d be waiting “quite some time.” We asked if we could be moved outside once our table was ready and to that their response was yes and then they came back 20 minutes later and said “moving outside isn’t looking too hot”
Food was excellent and creative. Service was impeccable. Outdoor seating was great. Drinks were fantastic. Made me very happy.
Delicious food and outdoor accommodations with covid were excellent, seating was spread out and felt safe.
Favorite was the spicy korean tofu followed by the bao buns and bahn milk sandwich!
Our server was excellent, food was good, there was a flute pl
We went here to celebrate a birthday and were seated outside. Their drinks were amazing. We had the Penicillin and the Habibi! The ramen and the Brussel sprouts were really good.
the food was really bland, not exciting and not tasteful. other times my meals were OK, however we tried a few items we never had and they were all bad, even had to send some back. not worth the price. nice server though!
This place is one of very few in the area that keeps us from trying new places more regularly. The food always delivers and the drinks are some of the best in Philadelphia - without question.
We haven’t been in nearly a year because of COVID but went for my wife’s birthday and our son’s first trip into the city and it was a phenomenal experience!
Food: try the potato croquettes
Drink: Bottle Rocket
From the food to the drinks to the adorable chalets, it was an amazing experience. The perfect date night for a friend coming in from out of town.
I was really excited about this place, but the food was pretty underwhelming.
Overall not worth it. The food was fine, but the portions were small and overpriced. Our waitress was a delight, but the host that originally greeted us and brought us to our table was snarky and rude. Set the tone for a mediocre night.
Enjoyed the outdoor dining experience. Thanks
Absolutely amazing, and so happy to go back! Food was to die for
One of the nicest places I’ve been out to eat! The service was great and so was the food. they accommodated us indoor dining, no wait. Also, gave my date and I free blankets for ordering hot drinks. Definitely 11/10 for vegan dining.
The food was excellent . Couldn’t tell it was vegan . It was that good
I am not a plant base eater so I was pleasantly impressed with all of our orders. The food was delicious and left a lasting impression with me to make some changes to my diet. Whoever developed the menu cares about quality and I will definitely support in the future
They have a wonderful COVID safe outdoor streetery, amazing service, delish plantbased snacks, and craft cocktails. What more could you ask for?
Cute spot. Lots of Covid friendly outdoor seating.
Amateur, Amateur, Amateur! Was put out on the corner with no heater and a wobbly table. A Super pale Waitress with tattoos came over and asked for drinks after a few minutes and did not even look at us in the eye as she looked around at the crowd around us. She then left and never came back. We arrived at 915 and got up and walked away at 9:46. Nicole should be ashamed to call this a restaurant and clean staff. The host in the beginning was a very rude short man who did not give a warm welcoming either. He acted more like he was a Wall Street broker instead of a host in Philadelphia. Cow aback down to earth little guy. Awful awful awful! Thanks for leaving us with no reservation on a Friday evening. Xoxox
The restaurant stretched themselves outrageously thin by adding more outdoor tables than their kitchen or staff could manage. We had a reservation but were sat outside far from the restaurant at an uncomfortably small table the edge of a closed street with pedestrian traffic crossing right next to us. 15 minutes passed before we were greeted, an hour passed before our appetizer was provided. Another 30-45 minutes passed without food so we asked our server what the status was on our food and if it wasn't being prepared soon could we please pay for our appetizer and drinks and leave. The food came out about 5 minutes afterwards. The tofu scallops that took so long to come out was 3 bite-size pieces of tofu that were slightly pan fried before being tossed on top of a bowl of bland tomato sauce. The rest of the food was okay, but overpriced for the quality/size/creativity. I do not blame our server as he was pleasant, but just faced with an unacceptably large section. Management needs to consider if maximizing the quantity of their sales is worth sacrificing the quality of their customer's experience. I'm truly disappointed as my partner and I were told that this was the best vegan restaurant in all of Philadelphia and expected it to be the highlight of our trip. We will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to friends.
So good. Our server was fantastic and fun and the food was delicious!
Lyonnaise potatoes and eggplant bao were particularly excellent. Brussels sprouts were a disappointment with a lot of funky-tasting liquid and mushy tempeh bacon (which would’ve been best crispier like with the potatoes. Meatballs that came with the bucatini were also a bit dense; would rather a lentil/mushroom-based meatball. Dessert was also a mixed big: lemon cake was really excellent, but milkshake was way too liquidy. Very nice, interesting wine list—as well as cocktails, though I didn’t have one this time.
Great food, attentive staff. We especially loved the sliders and drinks (beast of burden was amazing).
We didnt get served, waited 20 minutes after being seated and ended up leaving due to no service outside. Very disappointing.
I typically love coming here and recommend it often. It’s been years but I did not have a good experience this time unfortunately. My mom was here from out of town and is vegetarian. We ordered many different dishes and really were not impressed with any. On top of it, service started out very strong because our server was great but no one checked on us for most of the meal we all ran out of water, and we waited extremely long for our check. I let her know that one dish was way too spicy for any of us to eat and send it back. It was not taken off of the bill. Honestly, just very disappointing and out of character for this restaurant which is usually incredible.
Took a long time to get seated even though we had a reservation and there were open tables. Our server was great but wasn’t easily accessible. We felt she had too many tables. I would not discourage anyone from trying this place. Food was good if you like vegetarian food. I wouldn’t recommend if you are a meat and potatoes person who is not open to trying something different. We were there during the pandemic with outdoor dining so the restaurant staff had many challenges to deal with.
Cocktails were very tasty, and the food was amazing! I will definitely be back! Split mushroom toast, Korean fried tofu and artichoke frites to start. Then we ordered mamas meatballs and grilled caeser it was the perfect ending to our meal.
Sat on the street with people screaming on the corner. Filthadelphia at its best. Food amazing, staff ok, no reason to go back with so much good vegan in NJ.
We are outside in the street which was not as nice as sitting in one of the heated booths but it was still warm and the service was great. We enjoyed our evening dining out.
