    Seated promptly, delicious food although small even for a tapas restaurant, the only drawback is there's barely enough room between tables to seat yourself which makes it a very loud & noisy experience when celebrating an anniversary and having to raise our voices to hear over our "neighbors"

    We have been coming for a number of years. Always good food and good service. We don't eat many entrees but there is a good variety. In to celebrate our wedding anniversary, 35 years, and management was nice enough to treat us to a round of drinks. Very nice. Just waiting for pot du creme to return to the dessert menu.

    Very creative vegan menu and we enjoyed everything. (A vegan crab cake is clearly tough to pull off and it was the weakest link, but the sauce was still tasty.) We appreciated the zero-proof mocktail menu as well. Highly recommended!

    The food was incredible, as a heavy meat eater I can say it was really good. Also the wait staff was very conscience of my wife citrus allergy and made her feel safe and free to eat. It was the most comfortable I have ever seen her eat. That is saying a lot with having a strange allergy like citrus. We will be back.

    Exceptional from start to finish. The drinks, yum! The food is amazing! The service was top-notch. It is a cozy and intimate seating or bar area. If you don't like being close to other diners than that might be the only drawback for some. However, we had a brief but lovely conversation with the patrons seated at the table next to us. It is definitely NOT a negative in my book.

    If you’re vegan with Celiac disease then this is a great option. The drinks are weak but tasty. The meatballs are incredible. The ricotta is great. The pastas were just ok. As a non vegan who eats gluten who went here because of a friend, I would go back with that friend but probably not otherwise.

    The space was lovely but crowded and loud. The food was ok, but not amazing. Also I'm not sure how you can reasonably call fried mushrooms "calamari"? I usually like Vegan food, but this was underwhelming. Maybe it's just what we chose to order?

    After being seated we were greeted and ‘specialed’ by two different servers. Without asking the second server started pouring tap water when we had ordered sparkling from the first server. After the water was poured we were left sitting without a drink for a long while. Followed by a long wait in between food courses. My martini sat empty when I would have ordered another. They were nice enough, just completely inattentive. Food was excellent- my favorite was the vegan crab cake sandwich & Mac and cheese. Dessert was not exciting but generally speaking five stars on the savory. Vibe was really dark and sexy.

    The hostess was very nice and became our default waitress. We needed to ask for silverware and sharing plates for the tapas style food. The food was ok, but the management really needs to up there game the outdoor table was at a slant making out drinks spill. We waited 30 minutes for our bill, then just asked the hostess who brought out check. No one picked up out check and we needed to take it to the waitress to pay. If we didn’t wait an extra 45 minutes to check out and leave it may have been an ok evening.

    i’ve been here several times. the menu is very limited and it doesn’t change. my favorites were the calamari - but alas it was soggy and disappointing. it’s an expensive meal - more geared toward the occasional vegan. there are so many amazing vegan meals i’m surprised this menu is so limited and hasn’t changed

    We were blown away by the flavors of our dishes. The pan-seared cauliflower, pappardelle pasta, and avocado toast were our favorites. Portions were very fair for the price. Overall we loved it and already want to go back!

    People kept telling me Charlie Was A Sinner is better than Vedge. It's not. It's good. The food is decent, and it's a little less expensive than Vedge, but unlike at Vedge, there are things on the menu I had that I did not like. Out of 6 plates, 3 were great. 1 was acceptable. One was almost acceptable, and one I hated on the first bite. The service was excellent. The servers there all deserve raises. The biggest problem, though, was the music was too loud, so people had to shout to each other to be heard. The tables are close together, so it made for a very noisy dinner out. My husband and I felt like we were under assault most of the time. We hated having to ask the waitress to repeat what she said, but the music was too loud to be able to hear her. So the "ambience" in the place was loud enough for us not to want to come back.

    I know this is an unpopular opinion given how many great things we had heard about Charlie was a sinner prior to going, but both my husband and I were sadly disappointed with the food here. I am typically not a fan of meat substitutes, but even my husband who is vegetarian and loves having the options for meat substitutes also did not think highly of the food. We ordered the Mediterranean board (not worth the price, but the spiced peanuts were fantastic - save your money and get those separately), caramelized eggplant bao buns, mama's meatballs, and the Turkish "lamb" kofta (the best food out of all we ordered, but serving was small). I was still hungry so we ended up ordered the potato croquettes at the end which were decent, but nothing to write home about. Drinks wise, I got the ecstatic dance which was very flavorful and good. This place is best for a happy hour, but not dinner in my opinion. The place was also very dark and loud so not ideal for every situation.

    I’ve been to the restaurant a couple times before. This time was not great. The food was awful and the place was very noisy and hot. I won’t be coming back, which makes me sad because I’ve had some great meals there.
