Started at the bar for happy hour cocktails and then headed to the table for dinner. Surf and Turf was excellent! Great meal and evening. Looking forward to returning again soon!
The food was amazing. The steaks are tender and melts in your mouth. I will go back and will recommend to everyone.

Convenient location, Conscientious and prompt wait staff but unfortunately the hotel music is both inappropriate and too loud making it challenging to hold a conversation. It’s too bad since the table was reasonable and was good for business conversation. The steak sandwich was unremarkable relying on a sweet onion relish that was, frankly, pedestrian. The price fix lunch was a great deal. Other dishes appeared both generous and well constructed and I will return to try them as it is difficult to find as nice a setting in this part of manhattan.
Reliably terrific. Attentive service and delicious food. This is my go-to spot for business lunches.
My wife and I were visiting New York on business along with some evening pleasure attending two plays. We did eat early at 6:00 PM so the restaurant was somewhat quiet because of the time; however, the arrangement of the seats throughout the facility gave us a feeling of privacy. The servers were very helpful and greeted us as though they appreciated us being there.
It our anniversary and it was fabulous.
Everyone was amazing. Bar service was great and the bartender and server had a sense of humor. Made sure we felt welcome. My sisters, mom, and I went before a show and definitely was worth it
We have visited the Las Vegas restaurant before and enjoyed it very much unfortunately this location left a lot to be desired in terms of food quality

The best one could do with a hotel lobby, I suppose, but the surroundings were not worthy of the quality of the food.
My sister and I came during 2018 Restaurant week. We made a reservation, arrived a bit early, and when our reserved time rolled around, it seemed our hostess completely forgot we were waiting (though we were sitting within eye sight). This and the loud drunk men who sat near us were my only two complaints.
Our sever was wonderful, the appetizers were heavenly, and the cocktails were perfectly fruity, yet not too sweet. The fixed price menu was a great value and I would come again.
Service was pleasant and attentive. The food was inconsistent. My steak was perfect but my wife’s salmon was dry and under seasoned. Maybe an off day in the kitchen.

Went for restaurant week, excellent service-our waitress and the other servers were excellent. The agnolotti appetizer was delicious (small but great) the hangar steak was good not great. Only odd event was the sommelier who made a point to talk to the couples sitting around us-one of whom seemed to be regulars which was fine but the other was just a couple and ignored us as we were 2 women, he did talk to us finally but it was notable that he focused on the mixed sex couples.
Course by course the food got worse. The starter was amazing and the steak was average however the dessert was disgusting.
Very disappointing. Average food with banquet style sides. Service was awkward. Room sterile and even a bit messy. Ordered beef (of course) which tasted strange.... metallic and gamey. Lunch for two cost $189 plush tax and tip. Not at all worth the money.

Despite being busy with Restaurant Week, the service was outstanding. Attentive yet respectful of space, quick to respond to requests. Sommelier was excellent. Food was great, but coupled with the service across all levels is why we will go back.

It was a great birthday dinner with great food and great service. Jill the manager was warm and welcoming. We will always cherish that night and hope to have more meals here!
The bar had happy hour but not at the dinner table.. drinks full price.. I asked for drink discount.. said would ask but didn’t. Paid full price.. the food was very good. Quantity good. Waiter got lost and had 4 different waiters for the night.
We went for Restaurant week, out server was amazing, his name was Frankie. He was very accommodating & let me make a substitution. The food was perfectly cooked, I would definitely go back. We also met Jill, a mgr. who showed me the private space & the rooftop bar which is definitely a "must go" Great experience!
I always wanted to try this place, but the reviews were always 50/50 so I couldn't decide if I wanted to spend the money. Here we are and restaurant week rolls around and I figure what better time as any to give this place a try on a budget. Everything from the food to the service was outstanding. The servers were very attentive, the ambiance very soothing and the food delicious. I will most definitely be going back to Charlie Palmer to enjoy other delicious delights on their menu.
Our server, Walter was great ! Very attentive and fulfilled our needs/requests. Good to see managers on the floor and being super friendly with the guests. Food was spectular. Thank you for a great meal !
I went for Restaurant Week and this was my 1st time eating there. I had the short rib ravioli starter which was delicious, Salmon for the entree which was too dry, brownie for dessert which was small but just enough, also delicious. I ordered a cocktail and that also was great. I would like to go back and try the steak next time.
Went for Restaurant week. Was disappointed to see a B health rating upon arrival. This put a damper on the experience. One of our orders came out wrong and the waitress didn't notice. Steak ordered rare was way too rare and medium came out well done. Coffee was old and tasted burnt. The value was good for Restaurant week but I would not return.
Brunch was very disappointing. Restaurant has a B rating. I Should have have known better since I would never dine in a NYC restaurant that has other than an A rating but my daughter wanted to go for her birthday. Will not return.
The food was on par with some of the better steakhouses we have been to. The service from our main waitress was average - we prompted her with questions like, "what are the specials" and "do you have a dessert menu," etc. - the bus/support staff was very attentive; all staff members we encountered were very polite. Despite ordering our filets medium rare, I personally would have appreciated a little more warmth to the dish overall; the creamed spinach was hot enough to melt magma, though, so they definitely don't have an issue with the oven thermometer. This location was located in the lobby of our hotel (The Archer), which I would absolutely stay at again; however, because there are so many great restaurants to enjoy in NYC, I'm not sure we will be repeat diners at Charlie Palmer Steak.
For being a steak place it was as pricey as Keen's and about half as good.
Amazing steaks and service !
Steak was very good but lobster was dry and tough and bread was stale. Service was average and we did not like being asked if we wanted the gratuity automatically addded “to save time”. Beautiful restaurant but just lacking for what is an expensive meal.
Both had fillet mignon which was lovely. Service was very good too.
Fantastic service! Frankie was amazing and friendly. Best veal chop we have ever had. Definitely try the burrata salad.
I had an amazing time with my family celebrating the holidays. We sat at the high top table near the kitchen and got to see all the action! Frankie was our server and did an outstanding job! He helped us with selecting appropriate food for the kids (all three of them). The kids were amazed by the kitchen so, Chef Theo came to the table and said hello and took photos with them. They also had special mock tails made for them by the manager, Stefan. I would come back to eat here everyday if I could! This was an unforgettable dining experience and one of my favorite restaurants!
The service was excellent and the food was superb. It was a phenomenal/very memorable evening all the way around !!!
Food and service 10/10 management always hoovering and look down their nose at younger people makes you feel uncomfortable (makes you think that they think you are going to do a runner)
What a lovely evening and the best steak I’ve had in NYC! We were able to enjoy each other’s company and not be rushed. The service and food was perfect. Look forward to returning!
We dined for Christmas and everything was excellent. The waitstaff are super attentive and all the food was excellent. Seasoned to perfection - so much so they don’t have salt and pepper on the tables. Out of this world for the price and value.
