Cocktails, appetizers, dinners, sides, desserts, all excellent. Unfortunately, our waiter simply wasn’t on it. Not on par for what I would expect at Charlie Palmer. However, our busboy, Aaron, was spot on. I would not normally mention someone in a review by name, but this kid deserves a shout out.
Four of us went for Cut of the Week. Lovely meal and wine
The cut of the week is truly the best deal going in fine dining. Be sure to ask for the cut off the week menu. It includes a starter, steak, dessert and unlimited pouring of red and white wine.
Excellent food and service. Not an overly impressive ambiance in terms of decor, setting or view.
Saturday night wasn't busy, service was average, so many choices but convenient if you are staying at the 4 seasons. Quiet and boring restaurant, better choices out there
I can’t say enough great things about our experience at Charlie Palmers. Ambience service was fantastic. Service was impeccable. Then food. Oh my gosh my husband and Split the New York steak and it was so flavorful and scrumptious. Cooked perfectly. And the potatoes and Brussels sprouts were amazing. Best meal I e had in a long time. Thank you
I always find Palmer's Cut of the Week special quite a great value. For Vegas, in particular, you can get a nice steak cut with sides , first course and dessert plus 'bottomless' wine pairings for less than the cost of just a Rib Eye at even an average casino steakhouse.
I feel very good about the price I paid for the meal -- but the overall experience was only average.
Service was strong, but nothing better than what one should expect at a quality restaurant.
Atmosphere is very quiet and conducive to business conversations or a quiet date night. It's in the Four Season hotel so this is subdued to say the least by Vegas standards.
The wedge salad and Torrentes pairing worked quite nicely together. The red was a very non-descript California red blend -- Zinfandel heavy I believe. It was fine with the steak but pairing it with the wasabi mashed potatoes was just awful. The wasabi and the high alcohol red was mouth-on-fire ...
Dessert was a very interesting twist on carrot cake and tasted delicious - along with good coffee.
Overall a very pleasant dining experience -- well worth the price and then some -- but just slightly lacking in the sparkle that makes for 5 stars.
The experience was wonderful! Spent two days with my boyfriend and he wanted an upscale evening to start the night off. Found this place on open table and it was amazing. I would say this restaurant falls in the Morton’s category. The food was amazing and was worth the price. Portion sizes were big enough for us to share. Will definitely come back for another date night in Vegas
Was a very nice dinner
GREAT service and food
We had a great dinner for a birthday celebration. Our server, Alan was personable, helpful and fun!
Entire experience was top notch!
Was recommended this place and so glad we went
We had the set 3 course meal which included red and white wine and was $58 pp. For this you got a lettuce bed salad with a tasty dressing, steak, mashed potato and vegetables plus carrot cake to finish off
Service was superb and food amazing
Will be back on our next visit to Las Vegas
Our server Gerry was so attentive and made our last night in Vegas memorable for all the right reasons
From the host to the bartender to the waiter everyone couldn’t have been nicer!
Thank you Charlie Palmer Las Vegas for a wonderful evening! We also loved the jazz trio,
Was late for my reservation so i called in to let hostess know not very friendly over the phone then finally check in with the hostess she wasnt very welcoming either was sat in the very back corner of the restaurant ! Just wanted a quick bit of steak before my show so i had the dry aged bone in strip was tough and chewy the only good thing in this experience was the nice server that we had very nice and welcoming overall they definitely made us feel just another number for the price they charge definitely not worth it and wont be coming back nor we wont recommend it
Charlie Palmer Steak is an excellent, upscale restaurant within Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. On this particular visit, I had the BLT salad, filet mignon with half lobster tail (ritz cracker stuffed), mashed potatoes, and selection of ice cream and sorbets for dessert. It was all delicious along with the entire service from start to finish. I will continue to visit here with each future visit I make to Las Vegas and Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas.
Amazing time with friends. We had just flown in to Vegas and wanted a restaurant close to our hotel because it was a long day. So happy that Charlie Palmer Steak was our only option at the time we needed. It’s a pricey meal but the food is amazing. We sat and talked for long time and weren’t made to feel rushed, they even brought us complimentary cookies (delicious). They really made it a special evening.
We dined here on 4/3/18. We were celebrating a birthday for our bro in law. We ordered the cut of the week for all (as we've done in the past). My bro in law, sister and wife did not eat the steak. It did not taste fresh and the sauce was salty. The service however was very good (bartender included) and is the high point at this restaurant. The manager did remove the steaks from our bill. Unfortunately we had this same issue on our trip in Aug 2017. Love the quiet ambience here and this restaurant has always been our go-to but if you can't get the steak right at a "steak" place, what's the point?
This is a must, if you're in Vegas. Had to be one of the best meals I've ever had here. We had a party of four and we all decided to have the cut of the week. For $58 each person, you cannot find a better deal. I was thinking the steak would be small, but it was at least 14 ounces and cooked perfectly. Will go back anytime I'm back here. The service was great too!
Fantastic staff and attention to detail. Cut of the Week is the best deal anywhere.
Great food , great service , We went back the next evening .
was our 28th year anniversary everything was fine from parking too dining they even had a jazz band playing, food was great
We made reservations for 8 people, and needed to increase that number to 11 (we called 1 day ahead to make that change). The restaurant easily accommodated that request with a simple shift of time to 15 minutes later than our original time reserved. We had a comfortable round table. The server was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! We ordered a variety of dishes from the steak, to the salmon, to the chicken. All were well prepared. The one exception is that the one person in our party who ordered their steak medium well had their steak come out at medium to medium rare. The salads and lobster bisque were fantastic, as were the various sides we ordered (baked potato, sauteed spinach, asparagus, truffle baked potato, brussel sprouts, lobster mac and cheese). There was a birthday in our party, and they brought a lovely chocolate dessert. The restaurant graciously joined us in a round of happy birthday! All in all a great evening!
Wine explanations were fantastic, thanks! Nice pre fixe menu for a quick early meal. Enjoyed!
Great food and service. Good wine selection. Dining area split into segments so it doesn’t look like a dining hall. Makes it cozy and romantic.
With so many restaurants in Mandalay Bay with high end chef's competing for your business this restaurant fell short. Service was just OK, a bit slow and not that attentive.
Steak was bland, however the sides were good.
Desserts were mixed. Chocolate cake was dry, but the sorbet and apple tart were good.
For similar pricing, Strip Steak was better on all fonts.
We went for the steak and were not disappointed. Paired with the foie gras, my filet was tender and cooked to perfection. The sides were pleasant and added to the meal. My wine was first-rate. The servers were excellent and myself and my customers left satisfied with every component.
Love this restaurant! The food was super good and service very good.
One of the best steak-house experiences ever! Can't wait to go back :)
Charlie Palmers is our favorite date night place with its prix fixe menu and wine pairings. The wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There is nothin not to like about it!
The cut of the week special is very hard to beat...especially when it is the 8oz filet.
Had the cut of the week (it's not on the menu) steak was done perfectly. The rest of the food was delicious (small portion of potatoes though). The service was great, food came promptly and was hot. The waiter could have offered more wine otherwise the meal was excellent.
Staff was knowledgeable and fast. The food was excellent. The environment was conducive to conversation and amiable with connecting to others with minimal distraction.
Not very good. There are much better steak houses that I have been to. Will not come back
The service is always attentive and proper, but you do not feel crowded. The wine is always good and the filet mignon is a prime cut. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable. The parking valet is very good with doors being opened for passenger and driver. The waiter validates your parking ticket. Doorperson opens the door to the Four Season's Hotel giving a welcome feeling. I highly recommend the cut of the week menu for good value in an upscale dining experience.
Older crowd and very old school scene. Sommelier was not very knowledgeable. food was good but feels a bit dated. Particuarly given the prices.
Cut of the Week is the greatest value you will find at any high end restaurant anywhere. Excellent food, wine and experience. Would have been 5 stars across the board; however my medium rare Steak was medium. And my wife's medium steak was medium rare. Not sure if the two temperature orders were mixed up. Or each was just slightly off. Regardless both were delicious and didn't take any of the shine of this place. Guaranteed coming back next in Vegas.
An absolute good time celebrating a birthday! The service was great, the food was delicious and the overall experience was a treat.
The steak was beyond aged. You could taste the sourness in the meat. The Lobster rice was good. Service was wonderful
The server was inattentive to our table. While we were younger then other guests it was upsetting that we didn’t get the same care .
